I been paying for twice a week a pick up for twenty five years. I put the can out the second time maybe third of the time a year and it get missed multiple times . I call and ask to speak to someone a route supervisor to call back that’s seven weeks ago . This week I put out to small pot next to the can no pick up ! I called they said when I called that I was to schedule a pickup and pay ten dollars a piece that a joke I watched my neighbor put out boxes of junk and they pick it up .

I am a customer of Rumpke trash removal & recycling service. They came on their scheduled day of trach pick up yesterday. The trash pick up person removed one bag of trash out of my tote and then left without emptying the remainder of the tote which is still 3/4 full of trash, that I am paying for to be removed each week. I called to fill a complaint & was told no refund or credit for lack of service to remove all of the trash they were paid for. I was told no when I asked to speak to the drivers supervisor, I was then told no to speak to the representatives supervisor. After threatening to file a Revdex.com complaint I was offered a voice mail to leave a message, and then was hung up on. All I want is a credit for not receiving services rendered.

Rumpke refusal to pick up Recycling for 2 consecutive times in a row (one month). I've had multiple conversations with them over facebook and telephone with no resolution. All other neighbors recycling has been picked up. Last time I called they assured me a driver would be back within 48 hours and after 6 days I called again. They said the driver stopped and there was no can (which is 100% false. Again this morning (12/11) they emptied neighbors and left full container sitting in my driveway. Why is this happening and if I'm doing something wrong why won't someone tell me what the issue is?

I received a call from Rumpke and told me maybe they missed it by accident or maybe your “road is curvy” and they over looked it. My road is straight and the neighbor to the left, right and 3 across the street was all emptied. They also refused to follow up with me as to why this went on for a month. So this tells me the “response” is generic at best.

When I can get an answer as to why this happen, what the reason was I will be happy to accept the reason/answer.

Our recycling route manager has also reached out to Mr. to offer our apologies and work to ensure he is not missed in the future.

Our records indicate Mr. has experienced two missed collections recently. The first missed collection occurred when plastic bags – an item not accepted in our recycling program that actually impedes the recycling process – was found in his recycling container. Once those items were removed, we collected the material.

The second missed collection was the result of a new collection time. We recently made adjustments to the route, and the driver came earlier than in previous weeks. To prevent future missed collections, we ask Mr. and all customers to place material at the curb the night before scheduled collection.

We apologize for the missed collection, and we will work with our operations team to prevent future service issues. We value Mr. as a customer, and we appreciate his patience. If Mr. would like to discuss his service with me directly, he can reach me at .

In the summer of 2019, the garbage collectors threw away my personal trash can (i.e. my personal property). I called Rumpke and complained. They did not acknowledge that my personal trash can was thrown away (I'm assuming for legal reasons). A few days later, a Rumpke trash can was deposited at the top of my driveway. I called the customer service number again and the person said that the trash can was, in fact, delivered for me. I did not order the trash can. The person I spoke with assured me that there was no rent fee involved.

In my recent billing, there is a line item with a trash can rent fee. On 12/10/19, I called customer service and they finally told me, after going through at least one manager, that the rent fee was "comped" for several months, but that the rental fee begin on October 1, 2019.

I pay my invoices for service early and I have asked for some sort of compensation for either 1. not charging me a rental fee for their trash can or 2. reimbursing me for stealing my property. The customer service rep on 12/10/19 said that they could collect the trash can (i.e. take it back) and then refund the rental fee. This makes no sense: I need a trash can to deposit my garbage, but they stole my property. The replacement trash can, I was assured in summer 2019, was without a rental fee.

I tried to setup the autopay feature on their website back in July. I thought it was properly setup and it has come that somewhere it did not setup properly. The website has my credit card number in the account setup and it is even named (Ouch). My complaint is that now that I know that the autopay did not setup properly, I have no problem paying the bill but the $2.95 fee should not be charged. It was explained the it is controlled by *** payment systems and that they have no control over the fee. Calling *** was no more than more run around. With more "I can't do that Rumpke has to do that".

I am paying for trash service. My trash pickup routinely gets missed. I have called multiple times over the past 2 years with no resolution to get consistent weekly pickup. Most recently, my trash pickup was missed last week. Rumpke was called to be notified and stated that the issue would be addressed. It was not addressed and trash pickup did not happen again this week. My trash is starting to pile up and stink. The trash was placed on the side of the road the night before pickup neatly in a can each time. I have security camera images as proof.

I have a commercial dumpster that I have been trying to stop service for over 2 months and no call back from customer service rep (with several calls in and a service termination letter sent on 9/24/19)
I continue to receive bills and the dumpster is still there.

I called their horrible phone service number which when you call you have to be transferred to the right office. Should be a number to each office so you don’t do this. I called 4 times to speak to a manager about getting my 5th bill over a 6 month service where billing is supposed to be every 3 months. I paid $90 two weeks ago and they told me over the phone it was for services for nov, dec, and Jan. Now two weeks later I get another bill for $63 for no reason. My coverage is paid. They are scamming me. I want my money back or my service until the end of January like I paid them d***ing service with them without paying this scam nonsense last bill. I’m not paying them another cent.

On 8/8/19 I received a statement in my email for $80.25 from Rumpke. I had cancelled Rumpke's services and picked up with a different waste collection provider. When I called and cancelled Rumpke's services I was told to place my can at the curb and that Rumpke would pick it up within 10 business days. I did as instructed. On our next scheduled pick up day (Wednesday), when we got home from work, the Rumpke can was gone and the new company had dropped their can off. I did not think any more about it until I received the emailed statement on 8/8/19.

I immediately called Rumpke that day. The customer service representative that I spoke to said "the can was not accessable and was not picked up for that reason". I informed her that the can had been picked up and that it was not at my residence. She then stated that I did not have to worry about it and that she would have a supervisor address and take care of the bill.

The following month I received a paper bill in the mail. the statement was dated 9/18/18 and was still in the amount of $80.25, but now the balance was "PAST DUE". I received it and called Rumpke again on 9/26/19. This time I spoke to a lady named Tifney T at their Struble Rd location in Cincinnati. This rep tld me that she could see the notes from when I had called before but that the only way she could take care of the issue was to have me fill out a "Stolen Trash/Recycling Cart" form. She said that this would allow the company to take care of the bill issue. She said that as soon as I sent this form back to her that she would forward it onto their billing department. I received her email with the attached form at 10:32AM and immediately filled it out and sent it back to her at 10:42AM that same day. Again, I assumed the issue was resolved.

Now, on 11/14/19, I get a collection notice from *** to *** Solutions in regards to my past due account with Rumpke in the amount of $80.25. This statement is dated 11/7/19. This morning, 11/15/19, at 11:23AM I called *** to *** Solutions and spoke to Jessica. I let them know that I dispute the validity of this debt and told them that I will send a certified letter to them on Monday. I then called the number that was listed in Tifney's email(since she was the rep that I had dealt with in September at Rumpke) but their was no answer and no voicemail picked up. At 11:28AM I called Rumpke's main number and spoke with Kim K. She reviewed the notes and then told me that she had zeroed the account and officially closed it completely. She also stated that she was notifying *** Solutions. I asked her for a confirmation number or anything that I might be able to use to verify what she had told me. She said she would email me. She did indeed email me. In her email she stated that, "This is a confirmation that account #-*** is at a zero balance. *** to *** has been notified and your account will be removed from collections." A little before 5:00PM I signed into my Rumpke account online. The balance is still showing up there.

For this reason I felt it best to contact the Revdex.com and file a complaint. I am still worried that the issue has not been resolved and I do NOT want this to affect my credit. I had been a customer with Rumpke for over 10 years and had never had an issue paying them in the past for their services.

Ms.’s Rumpke account *** was closed on May 29, 2019. We have also removed an $80.25 trash cart charge from her account. Rumpke has contacted the collection agency, explained the error and formally requested removal of Ms.’s information, although removal the account may not be reflected in agency files for up to *** days. Additionally, we have confirmed that the collection agency will not report derogatory information relating to this balance to credit bureaus.

I purchased a 20 yard container for Waste Removal from my home. Upon the agreed upon date to pick up the container, I received a voicemail stating that the driver could not pick up the container because it was too full. I contacted Rumpke to discuss this matter, and was told that in order to remove the container it had to be flat because they legally have to tarp the container for removal. The employee then asked me if there was any way I could make it flat so that it could be tarped. I told her no, I had a mattress in it and that it couldn’t be pushed flat. She then stated that she could have another container placed next to it for $375 in which I declined because I had spent nearly $500 to rent this container. I stated that I would need to contact a family member to remove some items from it to make it flat enough for removal. The employee then stated that it was an additional $3 per day that we kept the container over the scheduled removal date and gave me the phone number to call when I was ready for the container to be picked up. When I contacted Rumpke again for removal of the container , I was told it was going to be $347 to pick up the container. I told the employee that that was a mistake because I was told it was $3 per additional day. The container was scheduled for pick up on October 21st, 2019 and I made the call Monday November 4th, 2019 for the pick up, the quoted price of $3 per day should have been equivalent to $50. The employee stated that it could not be picked up without paying that additional $347 for coming back out to pick up the container. To my displeasure, I wanted to know why I wasn’t told during the first interaction that I had to pay such a large fee for them to come out a second time to re-attempt to pick up the container, other than it would be $3 per additional day that the dumpster remained on our property. I received no answer to such. . I paid the $347 to have the driver come out for a second time to pick up my container. Today, November 6th, 2019, the driver came to pick up the container and did not tarp the container, which was the previous issue as to why it couldn’t have been picked up previously. I took a picture with my phone of the proof of the container being drove away without being tarped. I spend nearly $1,000 for a container to be dropped off and picked up. Not only did I rent a dumpster from this company, I am a customer who pays for monthly trash removal as well.

The past three service pickups since October 18 have been missed. I've had to call each week to have my trash emptied. I pay for carryout service, and have followed the rules for pickup, but I still have to call the office each week to remind them to do their job. The second time I asked for a credit for that week since I had to call again. The third time I asked to speak to a supervisor on Nov. 1; got voice mail, left a message and Rosanne never returned my call. Poor customer service. Before I leave home I can see everyone else's trash can lids open which means they were emptied. If I don't check my can before I leave home, then I have to wait all weekend to call on Monday. This is terrible service and customer service. They don't seem to care. When I asked for a credit, the person answering the phone that day said she put in a request. Well WTF does that mean. Any questions I asked, she did not have an answer, nor did she say I'll find out and call you back. They need more training on the phones and the services they provide.

The corporate people are great, and really make you feel like a valued customer. The local people in the offices not to be mean, but could really use lessons in customer service. Never admits fault or says I'm sorry about your experience, it more cold like "the check is in the mail", and have a good day...bye. Maybe it's not one of the skills they need to possess their current position, but it could make the customer experience a pleasant one. I also want to give kudos the people that do the physical part of the job. As it will be a full year, I intend to show my appreciation at Christmas time.

We have a 6 cyd dumpster that is to be emptied on Mon. Last week it was not emptied on Mon so I called Tues to be told they would get it Wed. No one showed and when I called Thurs they said someone would get it Fri. No one showed. With our service normally being on Mondays I called today 11/04tomake sure it was on schedule and they said it was and they would credit me for last week. At 4:30 no one had come so I called and the Rep advise that dispatcher went home for the day and that I’d have to call again on Tuesday morning.

Cancelled service with rumpke. It has been 5 weeks and they have not picked up there trash cans.. I call every Friday, get same answer, your on the schedule. I was told if they were not out when they came they would charge me 80 follars. Just want cans out of my yard.

I have called three times for a missed pick up. I keep getting excuses and delays and am growing tired of their inaction. They know they are the only provider in my city and they must therefore feel that they have no obligation to try to comply with my reasonable request to provide decent customer service. My normal garbage collection day is Thursday. Last week I had my garbage out by 10:00 pm on Wednesday September 11. Friday morning my trash was still not picked up, so shortly after 8:00 (when they start answering their phones), I called and reported that they missed our pick up. They said to give them 48 hours. I left my trash out all day Friday. I called shortly before 5:00 (when they stop answering phones) and they told me that it would probably be picked up that evening, but that if it wasn't picked up by 7:00 pm, then I should take it in and take it back out on Monday, because they decided that they actually have 2 business days -- not actually 48 hours. I did not want to put it back out on Monday, 3 days before our next collection day, because it is unsightly, could attract animals or thieves, and could violate HOA rules to have it out on the wrong day. They refused to give me a refund for the prorated cost of one collection, so at this point I would like a refund for the whole month of service to compensate for my time dealing with this nonsense and the stench in our garage.

I have had to call Rumpke customer service numerous times for various reasons and I’m usually on hold for no less than 10 minutes each time. The most recent incident was: They told me that I could purchase my 95 gallon trash container and after I sent in my check for this purchase, 2 weeks later they took my trash container. When I called customer service to report my trash container missing they told me that they do not sell them but only rent them. I asked why my invoice said “purchase“. They had some lame excuse about only renting them and not selling them. I asked her what the definition of purchase was because to my understanding it means to buy something. She kept saying the same thing over and over again about they rent them and do not sell them and said that they would send my check back. I told them I did not want my check I wanted my trash container which I had purchased and they had stolen from me. She refused and said that I would get my money back. They constantly lie to their customers. If I could give zero stars I would. Why do they have an A+ rating?

So this week I had a considerably greater amount of both recyclables and garbage so I filled all 3 of my blue recycling bins and I also filled a brand new extra large red tub with recyclables. And I made a large sign with LARGE bright red letters that said exactly " PLEASE DONT TAKE THE RED TUB, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE HARD WORK". Well when the recycling guys came I was watching out my window as the boy reached down held the tub up and read the note then just threw the whole thing in. Well my street is a dead end so I stopped the guys on their way back out and told them I wanted to keep it and the young guy with long blonde hair kinda of smirked and said it's gone it's already crushed. Well the exact same scenario happened with the garbage man when he came about 2 hrs later I had all three of my trash cans full so I filled 2 large plastic totes as well and I made the exact same sign but bigger. Well I watched the employee/garbage man reach down and hold the paper reading it then deliberately threw both totes in the truck and crushed them.

Rumpke's refuse collector failed to pick up all the garbage yesterday. When I called today the phone representative tried to deflect the problem onto me. How is it my fault the employee is obviously too lazy to do his job correctly.

After the tornadoes that hit the *** area we had a privacy fence that was laid down. We order a rollaway dumpster from Rumpke to put the broken fence materials in for removal. The rollaway from scheduled to be dropped off on 6/25/19 but was not dropped off on time with no notice that there was a delay. When it was time to have the dumpster picked up my wife was told that it would be picked up on 7/25/19(which was a Thursday), but no one showed up that day and we did not receive any notification that the delivery was being moved or rescheduled. The following day, we were preparing to go out of town for the weekend with family and a car was parked behind the dumpster for a short period of time. During this short period of time Rumpke came to pick up the dumpster, saw that the car was parked there left my wife a message and left(I was in the house at the time, but it was considered too much of a burden for the driver to come knock on the door and get me or to even see if someone was home). We then received a bill for $238.95 for them not being able to pick up due to the car being there. I was told that their drivers cannot check to see if anyone is home to move cars because it would "Throw off their schedule", but it seems to me that taking a couple of minutes to check on something like this, or showing up when you say you are going to show up would be a good solution to the problem. If they are so worried about being on time why did they not show up when they told us they were going to.
