I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***. The business did not respond to the merits of my complaint; rather, it deflects the issue by creating a new issue which had not yet been raised (timeliness of cancellation notice). Nevertheless, I find the proposed resolution of terminating the service in February to be satisfactory

I am rejecting this response because: they do not a dress larger issue of forcing cusomers to fax in notice of cancelation nor provide customers confirmation when it will be canceledThey state a contract is auto renewed for two yearsThey do not acknowledge when billing will stopIs what agent told me not true? Are they waiving said contract due to complaint? Or now changing story sue to complaintThis is very bad business practice in an effort to make it difficult to cancel serviceFirst letter was faxed months agoThey need to address all outstanding items in this complaint and change their process.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Although there additionally reconsidering what I "well know" is a unethical business practice would have been preferred. But their failure to do so hurts their business more than the customers. The internet is full of Safe Touch haters for the exact same reason. The word of mouth dissatisfaction comes back on them tenfold!, I'm sure

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:What Mrs*** is trying to do is have her cake and eat it tooOn one end, she replies in her email that "The problem has nothing to do with being prepaid for serviceThis is totally separate", if that were the case then Mrs*** would acknowledge that Safetouch Security systems warranties their equipment and hardware per their warranty agreementAn agreement which I have fulfilled when I paid months in advance in Therefore my equipment should have been replaced already when Safetouch *** acknowledged over the phone that their lines are faulty, had this new issue been truly separateWhat Mrs*** is trying to do is override the fees for faulty key fobs above and beyond our existing service agreement which warranties their equipment in my home which is flat out wrongAnyone can go back and check Mrs***'s replies to any customers and its clear that she always deflects blame away from Safetouch*** has millions more customers yet their Revdex.com rating is an A+I truly do not understand how Safetouch even has a B grade with the Revdex.com I apologize for going off topic, I just can not believe an issue as clear as day is so hard to get resolved with "customer service" Mrs*** has offered to waive late fees, yet not fix my equipment until those fees are paidMy response is I'd rather have a refund for my services minus the faulty key fobs which were replace or she can just do the right think and warranty their equipment since it was already paid for months in advanceI'm also waiting for the conclusion of this Revdex.com complaint, for if it is not resolved, I will immediately file a civil suit against Safetouch Security Systems and they can explain their actions in a court of lawA customer that has paid months in advance and given their hard earned money to a local company should never be treated this way
Regards,
*** ***

Safetouch Security spoke with Mrs*** and explained the options availableThe agreement clearly states she would be paying $a month for the first months then $a month thereafter for the remainder of the agreementMrs*** has been paying the reduced amount since January 2014,
making the end of the agreement as advised.Safetouch Security would like to provide services to the new home and by doing so would close the old agreement or if the New Homeowner activated the service the account would be closed. I would be happy to offer a buyout of $then if a new system is activated we will apply that to the new account.Sincerely,*** ***

Safetouch Security has adjusted the term of the agreement to reflect the terms from the old agreementTHe end of term is November 2015.Sincerely,*** ***
