CPS Energy is a municipally owned utility company which offers free weatherization services (Casa Verde program) to income-eligible customers, in order to assist these customers in reducing their energy consumption To learn more about CPS Energy’s Casa Verde program, please visit https://www.cpsenergy.com/casaverde.Ms***’s initial concern was that solar screens were not installed on all her windowsProgram clarification was provided to her relaying that these screens are only installed on windows that have direct sunlight hitting them Their purpose is to reduce the heat transfer into the home, thus keeping it coolerNot all windows qualify to receive a solar screen (i.e., windows with shading from trees & patio covers; windows oriented geographically North/South; or other windows that are not intended to be screened) Another concern she conveyed was that some of the solar screens were installed with “Velcro” instead of screwsShe was informed that the window frames receiving Velcro were not conducive for the use of screw application due to the close proximity of the glass to the window frame A screw application would pose a risk of cracking the glass, resulting in Velcro to be a safe option for screen installment.The final concern conveyed was that the program contractors tracked dirt onto Ms***’s white carpet; CPS Energy personnel followon this concern with a site visit Our personnel discovered that her home has plastic runners on the carpet and no visible stains or dirt was observed.Our Casa Verde program reputation, along with customer satisfaction, is very important to us As a result, we contacted Ms [redacted] several times and conducted site visits to her home on three separate occasions in order to further address her concerns On one of these visits, Ms [redacted] ran everyone out of her home and slammed the door behind one of our employees exiting her home, catching his index finger.In summary, the measures installed were in accordance to the scope of work identified during her home assessment and are within the parameters permitted per the Casa Verde program We believe that have made diligent efforts in attempting to provide satisfactory service to Ms***.Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help resolve this matterSincerely, [redacted] ***Manager | Customer OutreachCPS Energy | [redacted] San Antonio, Texas | MD: [redacted] Office: [redacted] | Mobile: [redacted] [redacted]

An electric device test was issued per the customer's request and can take up to business days to complete As with all smart meters they are tested prior to installation and CPS Energy does recommend customers to monitor their detailed usage at www[redacted] .com and logging into "Manage My Account "and selecting my energy usage tab

I am rejecting this response because: when I tried to call, even after they handled it via *** message, they still didn't answer the phoneTheir customer service line never picks upAnd they also don't notify
customers when a payment doesn't go throughThey just tack on the dollar feeThat was said by their customer service rep via *** Message I'm happy they helped me, but I want their phone system fixed and their notification system revamped so other customers don't have this problem in the future.

CPS Energy offers free weatherization services to financially eligible customers, in order to reduce their energy consumption.Ms. Wang's home assessment showed it to have most of the measures offered to already be in placeIt did; however, qualify for minimal measures, which were installed.We have documented several attempts and visits to resolve MsWang's concerns, with no success

I am rejecting this response because:today is 7/26/Almost another week has passedI have not heard from CPSenergyAlso
weeks of calls and requests were madeThe company continue to play the delay tactic not addressing any problems that has already called in multiple times since beginning of June because as long as the item "works" and funds misappropriated on the account holders name, it does not matter the condition and mess the contractor left behind and screens fell out on the lawnThe solar screen not only was delivered dented, bent and made incorrectlyAccording to CPS representative who came to take pictures, the indoor glass should not be hotThe solar screen apparently not only was badely made and poorly installedIt does not make any temperature difference on the glassWorkers has low hygience and cleaniness awareness and showed disrespect to homeowners house cleaniness by leaving trash behind, wearing work boots in the mud and yeard and back to homeowners white carpet in and out continuouslyUpon requesting CPS personnel to kindly respect the cleaningness condition and remove their shoes or wear shoe cover, the first cPS field representative continue to wear shoe cover in and out of the house walking on mudUpon a second time, the man argued with me because he did not bring shoe cover that day and argued with me and played power trip by slamming the door and leave knowing I already made accomodation and took time out of my day needing things to be corrected or removed by a contractor who can deliver QUALITY SERVICE AND PRODUCTS as they advertised on the website for CASA VERDE weahterization programIt is misleading and abusive to trick the public to participate the program to benefit contractors and took no responsibility
