A meter switched meter investigation has been performed and the results will be mailed to the customer. Please let it be known CPS Energy is not responsible for the wiring installation behind the meter. The property owner and electrician designate which units are
wired to each meter socketIf the meters are relocated by the property owner from their original socket prior to a meter switch investigation CPSE is unable to determine this on a meter bank. The dispute would be between the property owner and tenantA CPS Energy representative will be contacting the customer to explain the switched meter results

Mr*** has been contacted to discuss his concerns and is no longer having issues with his online profileI will continue to research his concerns with our automated phone system

To whom it May Concern, I recently submitted a complaint against CPS in San Antonio, Texas Yesterday, the business (CPS) responded and I rejected the responseThe computer would not allow me to enter my reasons for my rejection I am rejecting their response because they requested a court document of the eviction suit CPS is clueless as to how the eviction process works in Texas You must first issue a Notice to Vacate to the tenantIf the tenant remains in possession, then a vacation suit is filed with the CourtsI provided proof that she vacated the premises We hired an eviction company to commence the eviction proceedingsSecond, CPS has a copy of the lease I would like to know under what authority they established service in the tenant's name I am the lawful owner and without a copy of the lease, they should have not turned on the services Third, I have no problem obtaining the police reports Lastly, if CPS would have responded when I called, this problem would have not existed They dragged they feet and now they are blaming me for their failure to respond I want my power back on My family's health is declining and they are refusing me an an essential service Charles ***

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: On Friday April 21st I experienced a power outraged in my homeSunday April aCPS technician came to my home, and repaired the faulty wireHe began to explain to me that the reason being for the outage was due to branches rubbing up against the wireThe technician told me making a claim would be a waste of time because CPS was not at fault in the matter he continued to blame the branches were the reason for the outageI didn't agree with him at all and I went ahead and requested a damaged claim from cps on Thursday April I feel that the frail wire that is connected to my home is the reason for the outageThe branches in questions are less than 1/inch thickOn May1st cps rejected my claim for the damages due to the trees at my homeCPS stated they were not liable for any damages due to irregularities or interruptions to the electric serviceI'm in great despair that CPS is handing this matter with no compassion I've been with cps for 37yrsAs of today I’m living in a unsafe environmentMy partner and I are both disabled and both of us are on a fixed monthly income and cannot afford these damages yet alone able to cut down the branches or pay for someone to do itHere are some pictures of the branches and wire from my homeThank you so much or your time I’m hoping to hear from you soon and get this issue resolved

In response to your inquiry concerning the claim that was filed at *** *** ***, CPS Energy determined that there was no fault caused by the technician that replaced the electric meter on 11/22/ Our investigation shows that the technician rang the doorbell to notify you of his
arrival and replaced the electric meter, in accordance with our guidelines In addition, our Claims Department attempted to contact you by phone and email to obtain details about the claim you filed on 11/22/Based on the information you provided in your claim, CPS Energy closed the investigation and denied the claim If you have any questions, or can provide any documentation to support your claim, please contact the adjuster assigned to your claim, *** *** at *** or you can email *** at ***

CPS Energy bills provide a summary on the front side of the bill however on the backside all full adjustments to include credits and payments are listed on the backside. In regards to rebates it can take anywhere from six to eight weeks to be processed from the time of submission is not
recommended a customer submit a payment less than the amount printed on the bill until the rebate credit has actually been applied. If a payment submitted is less than the full amount of the bill a late fee will be assessedWe will be more than happy to waive the late fee as a courtesy however the Rush Hour Rebate has not been processed and should be completed within the next several weeks

I have reached out to *** *** and no further assistance was neededBest regards, *** *** *** *** *** * *** *** *** * ***

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: I do not owe such a balance due to my ex girlfriend stating she had paid this prior years ago and still is sitting
without any adjustments, I had no contact with this previous person to get any info from and more then likely will never recieve anything from her, and as for the bill I want to resolve it but I have no documentation and I was told they would send me a bill and this WILL not resolve the problem from a previous relationship that has went south, so I either ask for it to paid in full or I will be disputing it from my credit report

Tell us why here...The property in the complaint was found to have theft of serviceMr*** provided a notice to quit and vacate however a legal eviction document registered with Bexar County Court and a copy of the lease for the said tenant would be acceptable. A copy of the police
report as mentioned in Mr*** complaint would also be of assistance. Once this information is provided and faxed to *** a thorough investigation can be completed and the rightful person can be held responsible for the theft of service chargesAny questions he may have can be directed to ***. In regards to the complaint of the damage to the meter loop this is the property and responsibility of the home owner and must be up to city code to install electric service to the residenceThe home owner is responsible for hiring a licensed electrician to pull a city permit and make repairs
