I've done business with SD Bullion on multiple occasions and never had a bad experience. I really like the option of being able to pay with a money order.

Seller said they made a mistake and shipped an order without payment capture in Aug201. Contacted in Feb2019 With collections threat. Never received.
I have done business with SD Bullion in the past a handful of times. In February of 2019, I started to get calls from them making accusations that they had sent a shipment in August 2018 for a total of $264 without capturing payment. I had multiple phone calls with the company and I had told them I never received the shipment and requested a POD. The company then sent a letter threatening collections. I told *** at SD Bullion that I had not received it and the tracking number they provided was invalid. *** told me that they would work on providing proof of delivery but could not due to the length of time from when they shipped and when they did their yearly audit per ***'s information approximately 7 MONTHS LATER. On 4/22/19, I was placed in collections for a total of $451.91 with supposed fees on top of the original $264.34 original invoice and currently fighting the case.

I love doing business with SD Bullion. I can purchase just a few items or more. The site is easy to navigate. Shipping is always prompt.

SD Bullion is my go to company for buying bullion. Their prices are good, love free shipping when spending over $99, and have never had a problem with an order. Generally receive what I order within a week of ordering. Would definitely recommend this company.

Good product good price can't beat it

My first purchase of precious metals was with SD Bullion. I heard about it from a podcaster who reports on the economy and geopolitical news. I trust this podcaster's recommendation and decided to "go for it," especially with the uncertainty of the fiat money system. Investing in precious metals makes more sense than saving fiat money and its uncertain future. Based on economic conditions, I strongly believe we will be returning to a gold standard, and believe the unelected central bankers within the non-governmental F E D will soon no longer have a death grip on our economy, as it should be. It needs to be shattered into 1000 pieces.

The SD Buillon website is very user friendly. There are many different choices of gold, silver, and platinum, to fit most investment needs. There are a variety of ways to sort the coins once you select a type. I bought some silver coins and a pram of Gold. I sorted the coins by price and purchased the coins and pram of gold within my price range. I invested about $130 and received free shipping. You can pay with a check, credit card or PayPal.

I received my order via USPS mail with tracking. The package came in a nondescript large bubble-wrap envelope and the coins were protected within the in sturdy cardboard corrugated envelope, so they could not come loose during shipping. The coins were individually wrapped in a very nice soft plastic envelope made for coins. It was quite impressive because I didn't purchase individual cases for the coins or pram. The pram didn't need a case, because it had its own plastic/cardboard.

The following month after purchasing from SD Bullion, I decided to go with another company that advertised in a national gun magazine. I did this because I thought I would have to sign for my package from SD Bullion. The package, however, was sent via regular mail (with tracking) and delivered to my mailbox. I waited all morning and early afternoon to sign for the delivery only to have it dropped off in my unlocked mailbox, which is a ways from my house. Nevertheless, it was delivered and was still in my mailbox when I checked it later that day.

While the prices are comparable between the two companies, the packaging I received with the other company paled in comparison to SD Bullion. The coins from the other company was also mailed in a nondescript bubble-wrapped envelope and the coins were contained in a plastic envelope with what seemed like heat-sealed edges. The SD Bullions, however, looked like a proper soft plastic coin envelope (not a hard case you have to purchase). The other company's packaging was not as professional looking, for a lack of a better term--I don't know coin-packaging terminology. I'm a newbie coin investor, but I do know the coin packaging from the other company did not look as presentable as SD Bullion's did.

I also purchased a pram of gold from both companies, and the pram from SD Bullion is bigger! How can that be? It was just casting for the gold pram, and the weight of the packaging, but the size of the prams IS much different. They are from the same gold dealers and had the same logo. Can you even imagine a pram of gold from the same company in different sizes? It is already tiny to begin with. I didn't take both prams out of the sealed package to weigh it, but I'm going to trust that both prams of gold are in fact the correct weight, albeit different shapes and sizes.

Anyway, I will be returning to purchasing my silver and gold from SD Bullion. My purchase experience was smooth and the website was easy to navigate. I was a bit concerned about receiving my order in regular mail, since I live in the country and our mailbox is far from our house, but I received it. I tracked my order the day of delivery and then when I noticed it was already delivered, I worried thinking I missed the mailman. It was in my mailbox to my relief. I thought I would have to sign for it, but maybe I would for a bigger purchase. That was my only concern, but I received my coins. No problem. There was a tracking order on my package and if something happened to it, I feel assured that SD Bullion would take care of it. I have already recommended SD Bullion to friends and shared their website on my social media page. I plan to make monthly investments.
