as of this time - this company has lied about what they were going to do I have not received any tracking information, no check and it has been days since they were to send out the check I have called this company on Tuesday and spoke with Taylor and she had no information to give to me about this - I left a message on the service managers voice mail for a return call I left a message for the company to also return my call I called on Wednesday and still Taylor had no information to tell me and again I left a message on the service mangers voice mail NO RETURN CALL NO CHECK NO TRACING NUMBER This company is good at not telling the truth I am glad its not my conscience that I have to live with - NOT A GOOD COMPANY AND I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE

There was an ad from Security Alarm Now in my morning newspaper for a $installation of an ADT alarm system and I decided to take advantage of it I called ADT to confirm that Security Alarm Now was indeed a company certified to install an ADT alarm system and ADT confirmed that they were The offer was installation for $which included the equipment--key pad, sensors, two remote controls When the installer had installed the key pad and was ready to install the sensors in my windows and doors, that is when the up-sell started Turns out that the $covered only the standard sensors, but for several hundred dollars more I could upgrade to the better sensors Why didn't he give me those options before he installed the panel? I made the decision to take the upgraded sensors, but I was very displeased with the way it was handled When I asked why he didn't give me all the options before he started the installation he really didn't have a good answer Of course not, the whole idea is to have the system halfway installed before hitting you with the upgrades And as far as the $rebate gift card, I am still waiting for that They said it would be 8-weeks before I would receive it (they confirmed they received my paperwork on Jan8, 2016), but today (March 30) I called and they say it will be in September before I receive the card I called ADT and told them of my negative experience with this company because Security Alarm Now is a representative of ADT and they don't give a good impression I must add that I have absolutely no problem with ADT--they have provided EXCELLENT services and I would have gone with them in any case, but had I checked the Revdex.com information on Security Alarm Now, I would have gone with someone else to install the system This review is only for Security Alarm Now I would never recommend Security Alarm Now to anyone

I have received nothing from this company just like the first promise that did not happen I waited to see if it would come.I was given only one verbal quote for monthly cost from the technician which was higher than the company gave me As soon as he left I checked my written notes and it was $a month higher.I called the company immediately and it took months to change.I also stated I did not want any in the FR except window and door Today I watched a commercial by the same company with a [redacted] number that states "complete home security system" "free remote with cost about $a day.The technician said to pay by check $ After complaining it was changed to plan B for $which we paid by [redacted] We felt pressured.I want to be released from the contract[redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be relatively satisfactory to meWhile the company would like to share the times they attempted to call, I wanted to also note that they had multiple numbers listed that they did not use until recentlyWhen I finally scheduled an appointment for their visit tomorrow, I did bring it to their attention that I had filed a complaint with the Revdex.comMy concerns holistically will continue...their wait times are too long, they don't return calls that are left on message systems and the do not provide adequate customer serviceThe reason why I used the term "relatively satisfactory" is that I still have not received confirmation that my invoice will be adjusted as a result of this delayIs there a way to follow up on this?I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved

In response to your letter dated 9/16/regarding case ID number *** in response to our previous letter, the following are the resolutions requested.
As stated in Security Alarm Now’s original response letter an appointment to remove the equipment from *** ***’s home was scheduled for 11/21/2014, when Security Alarm Now’s technician, *** ***, arrived at the home on this date the customer was not thereTherefore the equipment was never removed from the homeFollowing the missed appointment we tried on several occasions to reschedule the equipment pull and received no response from the customer until 4/30/On 4/30/the customer informed our representative that Security Alarm Now would have to wait until July to pick up the equipmentAt that time *** *** was informed that the equipment needed to be removed immediately, or be subject to collectionsWe received no response to this letter dated 4/30/and began the collection process after giving ample time and opportunity for the equipment to be returnedWe received no further contact to resolve this issue until this month.
In *** ***’s initial Revdex.com complaint he claimed to be the victim of identity theft and therefore not responsible for the accountIn his response, he now claims he did sign up for the service but cancelled and returned our equipmentThroughout this process, our story has been consistent, we installed a service, we cancelled at his request, and we attempted to recover our property

In response to the complaint from Ms***, this customer called in to our office on April, to order a security system, and was scheduled to have the system installed the following day At the time the order was placed, Ms*** was informed that she would be
charged an installation fee within hours of placing the order, and that this fee was non-refundable. We have reviewed the call recording to verify that Ms*** was informed of this, and did, in fact, verbally agree to it. On the day that the installation was scheduled to be completed, Ms*** called to cancel her installation. By the time she called, the installation fee had been charged, due to the hard costs we incur in creating the account, dispatching the installation technician, and dispersing the equipment. We attempted to resolve her concerns, but Ms*** was unwilling to work with us and insisted on cancelling her account, despite having been informed at the time of sale that the installation fee would be charged prior to the installation taking place, and that the fee is non-refundable.We, as a company, acted in good faith, and thoroughly communicated all charges to Ms***. However, as a courtesy to Ms***, we will issue a refund of the installation fee. We will process a check to be sent to Ms. *** to her address provided.
