I am sorry that you closed this issue, I misunderstood your last email.I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY CORRESPONDENCE FROM THEIR COMPANY.Since you have dropped the issue, can you at least tell me what, if any, options I have nowconcerning this issue. At this point its not even the matter of getting my $rebate card, although it will be nice,its the general principal of the matterI did my part in getting their information back to themin a timely fashion, and THEY haven't followed through with their part. I cannot conceive the notion that they have had so many cards to deal with, that we haven'tgotten ours. As of now, there is nothing we can do for Mr*** to satisfy his desired settlement of terminating the contractIn this case, he would liable for 75% of the remaining balance of the contract if he does not want to continue with his services. Equipment not loudMade a complaint and they provvided additional keypad but the problem still persists in that I cannot hear alarm when it goes offI called customer service because I told them that they cut my wires on my old system and I would like them to reconnect it Isince there was no reason to do anything with my old systemIn reconnecting my system it would mean that I would hear alarm when it goes off since it was not a problem beforeWhen I called customer service they told me someone would call but weeks after no one hasI then emailed with the same resultsThere is also advertisement involved

In response to your letter dated June 5, regarding File number Complaint ID #*** following are the explanations requested.
When Ms*** had her order confirmed, she was informed that there was a non-refundable installation fee
that would be charged immediately The charge was processed through our system on the day the order was placed, however, due to the delay in the bank processing; the charge did not appear on her statement until the 3rd However, since we were unable to take over her existing system as requested, we will be issuing a full refund to Ms*** for the entire install fee of $plus tax ($51.94)
This refund was issued on 6/5/to the Customer’s *** *** *** *** *** account The transaction can take up to days to post to the account.

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.As far as the reference to the statement "To qualify customers for *** services, *** along with all certified *** Dealers conduct credit checks, to verify this information with Ms*** may contact *** corporate themselves at ###-###-####", the first time I contacted *** was through a LIVE online chatAt that time, the representative stated "we do NOT conduct credit checks for our services." That representative was also the same one who told me about the refurbished equipment (which I am no longer worried about)After receiving the information from the *** (online chat) representative, I contacted *** directly at ###-###-####After asking about their promotions, I inquired if they conducted credit checksAt that time, I was told "no, we do notIt isn't required in order to provide our services to you"Now, mind you, I was given this information just by getting promotionsThey didn't know my name, address, phone number or anything else about meDuring my order, they never asked me for my SSN, nor was it asked of me during installationThus proving credit checks are NOT conducted by ***I also just called *** at ###-###-#### (1/21/at 5:30pm EST) and spoke with *** *., a representativeHe stated "I have worked with *** over years now and I can tell you that we do not do credit checksI do not know why they are telling you thatIf they have any direct questions they can call us at ###-###-#### and speak with another representativeHopefully that should help."
All I am asking to resolve this issue is to REMOVE THE INQUIRY FROM MY CREDIT REPORTThe entire ordeal with SecurityAlarmNow which included conversation, credit check (which I told the representative who took the order that *** didn't require it, why should they?!), the order for installation, and the cancellation of installation and services was only an hour TOTALI did not have any services from the provider, therefore feel like it should be removedI could understand if I had the installation completed, but it was notI feel I have done my part by being a considerate consumer and reaching out to SecurityAlarmNow within an hour of the order, to cancelI also was honest by telling them why
I would appreciate it if you would consider the above action so we can move forward with this issue and agree to a resolution

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is partially addressed. Security Alarm now has not released my account to *** so that another company I have chosen can take over the system. They have no authority to have it on hold in the first place. Where is the documentation showing that I established a business relation with them. Security Alarm Now is unethically preventing me from getting service elsewhere by not releasing the account. As noted in my initial complaint, I did cancel my installation order on May 31st 2014, which Security Alarm Now did not acknowledge in their response. I will wait for the business to release my account to *** so that I can move forward with another company before I consider this complaint resolved

On November 6th, I received email from Revdex.com re:resolution from Security Alarm Now re: an outstanding rebate in the amount of $ According to Katie W*** their Customer Service Supervisor, she clearly stated that, "Ms*** $Visa Rebate will be shipped from our office in Chandler, Arizona on or before November 9th, and she should receive it within 7-business days from that date."The noted next steps were as follows:What is the next step?This matter is now closed in Revdex.com files, and will appear in the company's Revdex.com Business Review as: "Answered - the business addressed the issues within the complaint, but the consumer remains dissatisfied."There is no action for you to take at this timeWe will contact you when we next require your input.Based on this direction, I did not respond On Dec14th, I received Revdex.com letter that my case was closed due to my non-response!To date, I have attempted to contact MsW*** at Security Alarm Now, to no avail She has not contacted me or returned any of my messages In addition, I have spoken with several other reps who offer no information re:status of rebate Although they "promise" to research and respond, there is never a return call.Thus, I would like to re-open this complaint Thank you,*** ***
