Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: It offers no clear resolution at this time I am gathering and sending service records However, it is unclear if we will find a positive solution "we did speak to him" is not a solution I was contacted today, only after and seemingly because I contacted Revdex.com (Revdex.com complaint was referenced) The email and customer service I got on 7/and 7/are ask bad as this response Regards, [redacted]

A reimbursement form will be sent to the customer for $(diagnosis fee) - $(deductible, which the customer is responsible to pay regardless of which technician is used) = $which is what is going to be reimbursed to the customerAs soon as the reimbursement form is signed I will be able to submit you check for processingNo additional funds due at this time

I am rejecting this response because: I have been told that I cannot cancel my contract.Your story changes 1) We'll send someone out, even though I told them when it broke For my protection, I don't tell people when I'm out of town, so I waited to call until after Thanksgiving because I was gone.2) A person came out, I spent $on his service callHe never came back or called, and you even tried to contact him with no luck.3) Let us find someone else for you, and you assigned the call to many people, all of whom either didn't service my area or brand.3) Find my own service company, we'll reimburse you.4) We can't cover the full amount of the claim because the claim was made less than months into the contract(It was more than months).5) Now we can't cover it because the claim was submitted more than days from when it was broken.If they are truly worried about the issue becoming worse, or breaking more (this was told to me on the phone) by my waiting for more than days - why do they take so long to assign an able repair person? Wait, they never did assign anyone capable of doing the job, I was on my ownThey lie They snake their way through their ambiguous contracts to weasle out of paying for anything If they weren't going to cover it, they should have said so from the beginning I no longer want anything to do with this company I want to cancel my contract with them and receive a refund

I am rejecting this response because: they are not telling the truthThe breakdown of the refund was discussed after a partial refund was sent to my account Joseph Williams did not breakdown shat would be taken out of my refund from the beginning Anyways if the contractor had any concerns and did not want yo service us why did he come back and fix the a/c unit when I said I would pay the entire amount out of my pocket and he and came on July at pm and fixed my unit He refused to fix it if select home warranty was sending him because he wouldn't get payment from them Also he gave us the name of another warranty company to use that were better to use that would cover us better and a honest company not like these rude lying jack as No one in know will ever use this sorry as company I can call the contractor right now and he will be more than happy to talk to me and if I need him he would come with no problem This company needs to be put out of businessThey are no good!

Select Home Warranty only received the customers request to cancel on 1/14/2016, we have been calling them everyday since then, as they paid by check not a credit card

We have already gone way above the policy terms with the refund amount we gave

The customer has already been approved for the policy limit for this claimWe have tried to reach the customer but have not heard backFor help with this issue, the customer may call Mr [redacted] at ###-###-#### Mon-fri 9-est

Select Home Warranty would be more to assist the customer once we receive sufficient maintenance records for the unit, which the customer has not provided The customer has been provided with the policy on two separate occasions and it is available on line for anyone to see and review, if the customer had any issues within their day review time(i.emaintenance records and how emergency claims work) they could have called in to inquire about it.The customer only raise the question at the time of the claim and we did explain tot he customer having freon charged into the system was service not maintenance, we are unable to accept that asa maintenance record.Select Home Warranty has filled it contractual obligation regarding the claim for the heating system, without proper maintenance records, as the customer is aware that we have covered a previous claim

We did speak with the customer and informed them the check was sentThey will check with the tenant and let us knowIf they haven't received it we will stop the check and reissue

The customer had an issue with the sealed system portion of the refrigeratorThis is not a covered issue Please see section of the terms.This Agreement does NOT cover the following list of modules, components and parts relating to the refrigerator: (i) ice makers; (ii) ice crushers; (iii) beverage dispensers; (iv) freezer parts and components which are not essential to the refrigerator unit as a whole(v)freon(vi)freon leaks;(viii)damage caused by freon leak(ix)leaks(x)sealed system.We did however approved $towards the claim as a good willWe have gone above the policy terms for this policy holder
