We did speak with the customer. We are sending another technician to the customers home and we are waiving the deductible.
I am rejecting this response because:
This is...
my experience with SELECT HOME WARRANTY.In and around February 2014 I called SELECT HOME WARRANTYfor a warranty on my home. The sales representative I spoke with gave meseveral quotes, first it was $700 yearly then it went down to $650 then it wentdown again to $560. I decided to take the one for $46.67 monthly which was thebest package with a $60 deductible fee. Around June 2014 Ihad two small leaks in two separate bathrooms. I called select and was told Iwould be responsible for paying $120 seeing this was two separate problems, Iagreed to pay. The contractor came and fixed both leaks, this was done on aSaturday. On Sunday I hear a blood curling scream from my granddaughterdownstairs, I ran thinking that the baby had died but what I found was watergushing from the pipe, there was so much water it had soaked through the carpetin the foyer , I somehow turn off thewater and found out that the plumber had not secured the connection properlythus causing it to break loose. I calledthe plumber and explain the problem, he return and instead of an reimbursing mefor the water damage he gave me a key to the water meter stating if the watercompany ever turned off my water for nonpayment this key could be used to turnit on. I called SELECT HOME WARRANTY and told them of my experience again noapology. The second time I had a problem with my garbage disposal; Icall SELECT HOME WARRNTY and told them the garbage disposal was not turning on.They dispatched a Plumber but, before the plumber arrived they call me and Iagain stated what was going on, they intern told me that was not a plumbingproblem but an electrical problem, they did not come out. I waited for a couplemonths as I had to be with my dad in another state. On my return I calledSELECT HOME WARRNTY, It took almost a month with me going back and forth withthem to send someone out to fix the problem, instead I got an email statingthat I need to have the repairs done and they would reimbursed me the money Ipaid. I told them I will not and after five weeks of waiting I sent complaintsto the Revdex.com and cancelled my contract. Once this was done I got a call from a supervisor by thename of Rick, he left me several voice messages and emails, I got in touch withRick and he assured me he will take care of this repair and he would reimburseme the deductible since this situation had taken so long for them to addressed.I would need to send him an invoice and he would request the $60 deductible back,he again dispatched a plumber. When the plumber arrived I paid him $60 and heconfirmed the problem was not plumbing related but an electrician was needed todo the job. I called SELECT HOME WARRANTY and an electrician was sent and theproblem was resolved. I emailed Rick the invoice and he assured me that it willtake 10 to 14 days for the refund to be processed. On Wednesday 13thof January I sent an email to Rick requesting a status only to received severalemail stating that no refund was processed. On January 11th I got up to take something out ofmy refrigerator and found it to be warm with everything melting in the freezersection, I sent an email to SELECT HOMEWARRANTY and received an email with the contractor information. It took thecontractor 3 days to come to my home. He diagnosed the problem as the unit hasa bad compressor that needs to be replaced. The warranty does includecompressor so I assumed that SELECT HOME WARRANTY would either replaced thecompressor or replaced the unit. Since this was an emergency I called SELECTHOME WARRANTY and spoke with a supervisor who informed me that they will not approved a claim for this compressorand came up with another name such as Sealed system- I explained to thissupervisor that on the order the contractor left mentioned nothing about aSEALED SYSTEM. Again I was told unfortunately THEY WILL NOT COVER THIS REPAIRbut I could have the repair done and pay out of pocket and they will thinkabout reimbursing me a percentage of what was paid. I again paid thiscontractor $60 only to be turned down once again by SELECT HOME WARRANTY. company

I am rejecting this response because:They never contacted us. They would not give us the name of a repair person. This is absolutely a lie. We spent 5 days with no refrigerator in our house and were unable to get any help from this company. They would not return our calls, nor would they give us any assistance with getting the refrigerator fixed. No calls were returned. No emails with names of service people were sent as promised. Lies, lies lies!!!

I am rejecting this response because:As I have been stating to Select Home Warranty by phone and email OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN, that the home inspection was NOT DONE BY ME, but by a third party buyer of my property and I did NOT receive that inspection until the July 21! As soon I got the inspection, I immediately contacted Select within the same weekend, not even waiting 1 business day, but if they are trying to scam their way out of their own terms of their contract to make money, there is not much else I can do other than take legal action against them. It is clear both from the buyer's real estate agent, their 3rd party inspector and my own real estate agent's emails (which I already shared with you) that I did not receive their inspection results until July 21. My realtor was even shocked in Select's dishonest business dealings - she said in her years of doing this line of work, she had not come across this.In addition to taking legal action, I also ask Revdex.com to warn other consumers against the dishonest business dealings of this company. I've only asked them to repair what I paid for and was part of our contract, nothing more and nothing less, but it is obvious, they don't want to cover any part of their contract terms. Guess this is how they make money - collect from the consumer then make a false statement to allow them to not do their part!

This would not fulfill contract when I paid upfront for them to dispatch servise providers.

The customer has had coverage with SelectHome Warranty since 06/2014 and is not entitled to a full refund. The customeris not entitled to a full refund at this time and has been issued a pro-ratedrefund per the Terms of Agreement that they reviewed, and signed that theyagree to set terms.
We did speak with the customer and assisted with the claim issue.
We did speak to the customer , his policy max on the repair was $150 however we approved a $508 repair.
Our technician has been to the customer home on 11/4/2015,
there was a misunderstanding in the beginning due to availability issues. The diagnosis we received from the technician stated that the
furnace control board is burnt up, capacitor was blown out, and that the unit
needs maintenance, it was...
also leaking chemical. We stated to the customer on 11/4/2015 that the unit
required maintenance, and due to the lack of maintenance the parts were over
worked and now they have burnt out.

I am rejecting this response because: They promised me the $200. That was a partial payment for the service that was not completely covered. That company can't keep their word at all.

We spoke with the customer. His pool issue was not covered under the policy. We have approved him for a $100 good will reimbursement towards his claim.
We spoke to the customer and we have approved a $200 good will reimbursement for the claim. We have already issued this money back to his credit card.

I am rejecting this response because: Ive wasted enough time money and...
energy on this issue already. Everytime I call SHW, I get the run around or a bad sales pitch. When I made the final call to them last year I was told it would be no problem to get a refund for the remaining months. Yet here we are.
