Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I responded through the Better Business email, requesting a specific resolution from Town Fair Tire I received no communication from Town Fair I have now had to spend another hour on this matter.I purchase four tires from Town Fair Free flat repair was included with all four tires I wish to receive my $back, plus free tire repair on all four tires for as long as those tires last I don't want to TALK with anyone from Town Fair I don't want to visit the Town Fair store and have to deal with their employees You can send the promised letter to me in the mail AND the refund check I would like to review the letter before you just send it out.this time I won't drop my complaint until the letter and check are in hand.I would also like to be compensated in some way for all of the time that I have spent to resolve this, in particular the time I've spent filing the second complaint due to the fact that Town Fair did notfollow through on the resolution that it offered to me Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:For one thing, I didn't receive the letter mentioned until weeks after it was promised to meI received a voice mail from [redacted] at Town Fair on May 11, asking me to call back so that I could provide her with my address after I had already confirmed all of my information with Mr [redacted] on April I am attaching the post marked envelope belowThis continues to prove to me that Town Fair could care less about my business or repairing the damage they did to my vehicle.In addition, I find it odd that Town Fair replaced the tire that was being repaired on April just weeks prior on April and never mentioned that the cap was at all looseI also added air to the tire about hour prior to taking my vehicle to Town Fair and noticed nothing out of the ordinary with the cap in questionI find it odd that they waited until my truck was done to tell my wife that the rim "fell off" instead of letting her know immediately that there was an issueTown Fair has a sign in the [redacted] location that indicates that they want their customers to be 100% satisfied with their experience and to let the manager know so that they can ensure that the customer is satisfiedI guess this only applies when it's a cheap and easy fix?I understand that Town Fair claims that they are offering to pay for half of the cost of a new rim to me as a courtesy, however, if they could prove that they did not damage my vehicle why would they offer anything at all? The only resolution I will be satisfied with is the entire cost of a new rim Sincerely, [redacted]

To Whom It May concern;This is the first we are hearing for Mr [redacted] issueUnfortunately a ripped or gashed tire is the result of a road hazard That particular tire we don't offer a free road hazard onIt would have been offered as an option at the time of purchase Mr [redacted] opted not to purchase the warranty [redacted] doesn't cover any road hazard at all regardless of timeTheir manufacturer's warranty covers workmanship onlyAs for our day test drive the tires must be returned undamaged in exchange for a different setAt this point we will gladly replace the tire as a one time courtesy however it would be up to Mr [redacted] to purchase the road hazard if he would like the coverage.Sincerely,Rich Al [redacted] Town Fair Tire

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I had to make more trips to the Vernon Town Fare Tire 1st) to have the correct tires and different rims put on from the first mess up, however when I arrived, the wrong tires were ordered(the wrong ones were ordered,2nd) to have the correct ones put on after they were ordered by the store manager Chris, and 3rd)after having the new tires, the "service tire pressure monitoring system" lights were onWhen I brought it back to get fixed it took them a long time because they couldn't figure out how to fix itFinally after spending hours total in TFT different times, the tires seem to be goodI never received a refund and was also told by Chris that I would be getting a refund for the inconvenience of having to keep coming back which I have not seenChris was very good and I have no complaints about him or his staff, it's the rediculous amount of time, gas, frustration and stress of running back and forth that I hope no one else has to go throughIt would also have been nice to receive a follow up call after the last appointment to make sure I am satisfied with the new tiresHad they done that I would not have rejected this solution because I could have told them instead of writing this Sincerely, [redacted]

We are aware of the unfortunate incident that occurred with [redacted] 's vehicleWe apologize for any inconvenience that she has experiencedHowever after an investigation of the incident by us and our insurance company we are unable to take responsibility for reasonsThe first being it is an industry standard for all dual rear axel vehicles to return for a torque check after serviceWe ask that our customers with these vehicles return at miles after service and again at milesThe rear wheels on these types of vehicles are notorious for coming looseThe store made Ms [redacted] of this procedure and she acknowledges that she did not return for the first re-torque and planned on coming in for the second mileage torque check though she was over the mileage for that check as well The second reason is we are not the last party to touch the vehicleMs [redacted] had stated that another shop did an inspection on the vehicle after we serviced it and she had assumed that they checked the torque for herAlso during to inspect the brakes on that type of vehicle, the rear wheels on at least one side would need to be removed So with that said though we do apologize for the issue Ms [redacted] experienced with her truck however we are unable to take responsibility for the issueSincerely, [redacted] ***Town Fair Tire Customer Service

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: There was absolutely no mention of trying to over charge my wife in the response or the attitude my wife received from their employee! 20-Minutes? My wife sat there for an hour!!! There were obviously no issues with the garage bay that they do the alignments inHow do I know? Because they were taking walk in customers and doing their alignments ahead of her! At this point I have already had the alignment done on my truck by another garageI don't accept the apology, and I will never go back into one of their locations againI dont want anything from them, I would however like the complaint to remain on the Revdex.com sight as to warn others about the horrible service and possible hidden added charges they try and tack onto their service Sincerely, [redacted]
