To Whom It May Concern;We are aware of this issueWe have explained to Mr*** that the associate was mistaken that it is not state law in *** *** only ***However it is against federal law to disable a working TPMS system in any way. Installing wheels without sensors is
considered disabling by the NHTSA which was explained to Mr***Though we stand behind our services 100% we cannot violate Federal law and expose ourselves to the liability. At this point in the interest of coming to an amicable resolution we can cover half of the cost of sensors and install them at no charge or we can cover changeovers at another shop that is willing to break the law.Sincerely, Rich A*** Town Fair Tire
