To Whom It May Concern;We are aware of this issueWe have explained to Mr [redacted] that the associate was mistaken that it is not state law in [redacted] only [redacted] However it is against federal law to disable a working TPMS system in any wayInstalling wheels without sensors is considered disabling by the NHTSA which was explained to Mr [redacted] Though we stand behind our services 100% we cannot violate Federal law and expose ourselves to the liabilityAt this point in the interest of coming to an amicable resolution we can cover half of the cost of sensors and install them at no charge or we can cover changeovers at another shop that is willing to break the law.Sincerely, Rich A [redacted] Town Fair Tire

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I had already been charged another $for my own replacement tire and the road hazard coverageApparently at the "kindness of the managers heart" that I'm lucky that they had even offered the 50% off discount on the new replacement Sincerely, [redacted] ***

To Whom It May Concern;This is the first this office has heard of this issueWe apologize for the [redacted] inconvenienceWe are required to follow the RMA (Rubber Manufacturer's Association) guidelines when repairing tiresThis if for both safety and warranty purposes with the manufacturerThese guidelines limit the repair area to the flat tread area and the size of the repaired damage to a 1/of an inch in diameterAny damage in the shoulder block area cannot be repaired or is larger than the 1/4" in diameterI have attached a copy of the poster we have displayed in store that guidelines and proceduresAt this point we will gladly reimburse Mr.Beaulieu for his repair and additional for the inconvenience for a total refund of $Please have [redacted] contact me at ###-###-#### to setup the refund.Sincerely, Rich A [redacted] Town Fair Tire

To Whom It May Concern; I apologize I had misunderstood the store manager wheels were mentioned at the store and were mentioned after [redacted] leftThe store manager at the time had offered to have the wheels buffed because the damage on the wheels was so shallowAt this point in the interest of resolving we will gladly have all wheel buffered for [redacted] or we can refund him $for the repair of the wheels whichever he prefers.Sincerely,Rich A***Town Fair Tire

Please keep in mind that this is the fourth time this problem occurred and I have had the same problem in three different locations across Massachusetts and Connecticut Each time Town Fair Tire says they address the issue with the store, they have not corrected their business practices and I continue to have the same exact problem I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me - [redacted]

We apologize for Mr [redacted] issue he is having with the wheelWe don't feel the damage was done at our shopThe wheel in question has a chrome cladded plastic façade glued to itThe glue let go and the entire cap is off of the wheel as a wholeIf the cap was pried off by one of our techs it would be broken or cracked where it was attempted to pry off the capAs promised a letter was mailed to Mr [redacted] on 4/the day we spokeI have attached a copy of the letterWe offered the 50% coverage strictly as a courtesy because we value Mr [redacted] as a customer and we still stand by that offerHowever we would not be able to take responsibility for the wheel given it's condition.Sincerely, [redacted] Town Fair Tire
