Love the military support they show! Can’t wait to try these panels!

Do not use this company. They will promise the moon and do the install but never activate the system. I am in the bay area and bought the most expensive high end system I could and trusted these guys because they say that they are veterans. Veterans are disciplined and committed to service. Not these guys, No customer support, No follow up on system status. Just high and dry customer service. They did send me my final bill, what's next collections. At this point I would like my system removed and go with someone else. I have also tried to call the offices in Southern California for help. Bottom line go with anyone else in northern California, do not go through what I have.

Semper Solaris has failed to install a system ordered 6 months ago and continuously makes promises they fail to keep. Consider ANY OTHER business before Semper Solaris.

Nicole came to the appointment, prepared and created a proposal on site. They have great finance options and great customer service.

3/4ths of the project were great, 1/4 sucked. The salesman John *** was great. Jorge, the project lead was great, and the installation team was awsome. My problems always surrounded the office staff.
I'm the kind of person that if you promise me something I expect it to happen. In this instance I was initially contacted( after signing the contract) by office staff saying they would be in contact with me later in the week. No contact happened. This was a regular occurrence with them. One time, after not hearing from them for a month, I sent an email and was again ignored. I sent several emails to several addresses. I did get calls promising information but that information never came. Finally John got me some answers, but it took 2 weeks. Way to go John.

This isn't a $500.00 generator I'm buying. I'm spending A LOT of money on this. One would think they could return an email or phone call!

HAROLD P. IN JUNE OF THIS YEAR, I WAS PRESENTED A CONTRACT FOR A SOLAR SYSTEM INSTALLATION WITH A SEMPER SOLARIS SALESMAN NAMED CHASE CALKINS. HE SAID HE RESEARCHED MY SPECIAL ROOF PROBLEM AND THAT THE COMPANY COULD USE A SPECIFIC TECHNIQUE TO MAKE THE INSTALLATION WORK. I SIGNED THE CONTRACT, BASED ON THIS PROMISE FOR SPECIFIC WORK AT A SPECIFIC PRICE. EVERYTIME I HAD CONTACT WITH SOMEONE FROM THIS COMPANY, I REVIEWED THE SPECIFICS OF MY JOB TO MAKE SURE THAT EVERYONE WAS ON THE SAME PAGE.--EVEN SO AFTER A 3 MONTH PROCESS OF STEPS WHILE TRYING TO GET THE JOB IN BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR, THE COMPANY SENT AN UN INFORMED CREW TO MY HOUSE. AFTER TRYING TO COLLECT AN 80% JOB CHECK BEFORE DOING ANY WORK THEY LEFT AFTER LESS THAN AN HOUR. VINCENT GONZALES, THE CREW BOSS SAID THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE RIGHT MATERIALS FOR THE JOB. HE WAS COMPLETELY SURPRISED THAT I HAD A DECRA TILE STONE "STONE OVER STEEL" ROOF, OVER A WOOD SHAKE SHINGLE ROOF, WITH NO PLYWOOD UNDER NEATH...A FACT THAT WAS POINTED OUT TO THE SALESMAN AND THE INSPECTION CREW FROM SEMPER SOLARIS. I ALSO TOLD THIS IMPORTANT FACT TO OTHERS AS I HAVE MENTIONED.
MATTHEW WARD IS THE PROJECT MANAGER FOR MY JOB AND APPARENTLY DOES NOT COMMUNICATE WELL WITHIN THE COMPANY!--IT TOOK DAYS TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED. IT WAS ALL I COULD DO TO GET ANYONE TO CALL ME BACK. AFTER DAYS, MATTHEW WARD CALLED TO INFORM ME THAT THE JOB WOULD REQUIRE(SURPRISE) REPLACEMENT OF PART OF THE PERFECTLY GOOD ROOF AND COST MORE MONEY!--HE SAID HE WOULD TALK TO TO HIS BOSS TO FIND OUT A WAY TO WORK THINGS OUT. I WAITED A WEEK...NOTHING!!! I E-MAILED HIM AND LEFT TWO PHONE MESSAGES. I DID NOT EVEN RECEIVE THE COMMON COURTESY OF A CALL BACK. --I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO POORLY BY A COMPANY. I HAVE BEEN NOTHING BUT COURTEOUS AND RESPECTFUL. ALL I WANT AT THIS POINT IS TO GET A REFUND OF MY WASTED $1,000. DEPOSIT. IF THEY CALLED ME THEY WOULD LEARN THIS. JUST A LITTLE SINCERE AD ICE FROM A THOROUGHLY DISGUSTED CUSTOMER. PAY A LITTLE CLOSER ATTENTION TO THIS COMPANY'S NEGATIVE REVIEWS...THEY'RE LONGER FOR A REASON. I'M GOING TO SPREAD THE WORD TO THE VETERANS WITHIN MY EXTENDED FAMILY AND BEYOND.

DEAR OWNERS OF THE COMPANY, SEMPER FI MEANS ALWAYS FAITHFUL. DO YOU STAND BY YOUR WORD, YOUR EMPLOYEES PROMISES, YOUR SIGNED CONTRACTS???

Semper Solaris professional people installed my solar panels great experience from the start . Genevieve the sales person representing the company talked to us and explained the whole process and savings coming our way she was honest and through so far we’re very happy with results .Savings on my electric bill are significant and I look forward to getting my tax rebate

From start to finish. This company was awesome. Genevieve was our contact person and really knew her stuff. She was the reason we chose Semper Solaris. She was friendly and very knowledge about the product.
The panels were installed a month earlier than we thought and the whole process was fast and efficient and well priced.

A year ago, my wife and I contracted with Semper Solaris to install a solar panel system on our house. From start to finish, the company did a great job.
This year we wanted to add a battery unit to our system. Again we contracted with Semper Solaris.
Everything was going fine. The plans were drawn up and approved by the city. The battery and new inverter were installed. Upon inspection, the city inspector determined the location of the battery was not appropriate in deference to the approved plans.
At that point, Mike V Assistant Construction Manager, reached out to me. He worked with me on the new location specifications. Mike walked me through the project's next steps. After the unit was installed, he dedicated himself to getting the battery approved by SDG&E, getting it online and configured in a manner that allowed me to understand how it was operating. I really appreciate the fact that Mike worked over a weekend rather than wait until Monday to configure the system. Thank you, Mike V.
Finally, I am still learning how the new unit works but I feel confident Mike will still be available to answer my questions.

The contractors are liars and did a bad job and are suing me.

It was fast, simple and I have been saving money ever since. The installation crew was on time and courteous, I have never been so impressed as I was with the whole process from cradle to grave as I was with Semper Solaris. We went through heavy rains right after install, and there were no leaks. The App on the phone is easy to use and gives real time data. Wow!!! I had eight bids and Semper Solaris got my business (fyi, I had to replace my roof too). I rated price, quality of panels and sales tactics. Semper Solaris had the best pricing on a 4.6 KW system, the Panisonic panels are made in Buffalo, NY and Mike W was honest and never pressured me in buying from them. I did six months of research on what I needed using resources such as Energy Sage and other tools. Without a doubt I would recommend any of my friends and family to give Mike W. a call. My neighbor had the same experience and just got his panels up and running.
As for my experience from the company. Every person from the roofing crew, the panel crew and office team was exceptional. Their roofers were clean, reliable and hard working. The panel crew were the same and walked me through each phase of their work. The office crew was the epitome of customer service.

I was referred to Semper Solaris by a coworker about two years ago. Yes. It took me two years to make my decision as to which company I was going to go with. I explored the ones you see at Costco, Home Depot and Lowe’s; however, there was just something about them that didn’t sit right with me. Being a veteran myself, I try to support veteran owned businesses. I decided to give Semper Solaris a shot at he job.

I contacted Genevieve from Semper Solaris and let her know my situation and my concerns. She explained EVERYTHING ( lease vs purchase, true up billing, upgrade options, financing, and any other questions and concerns I had ). Response time from Genevieve was either immediate or within an hour. Now at ease and fully understanding what the process was, we felt comfortable enough to make the leap to solar with Semper Solaris.

There was absolutely no pressure for add ons like Tesla wall or other things. I had to send in my past SDG&E bills which conservatively run around $300 to $500 ( pool/electric spa and an air conditioning unit that we rarely run because it is so expensive. They could personalize a system for us. We got 32 (300W) solar panels and an upgraded power panel/circuit breaker box as our place was built in late 60’s.

Genevieve, Veronica, Vinny, Billie, and Matthew all worked together to submit city permits, liaison with SDG&E and scheduling installation and inspections.

I don’t know the names of the installers, but they were punctual, clean, profession, courteous and answered all my questions in layman’s terms. It took them about a day and a half to put up the panels and another 6 hours to upgrade my circuit panel.

For us, from the time we agreed to put in solar to the time we were fully up and running was about one month.

Billie and Genevieve were exceptional helpful with sending me follow up emails to make sure everything was working well and they also walked me through the Solar Edge app which lets you see how much power you are generating. I have been running my air conditioning at 70° this entire billing cycle, cranked the spa to 104° and running the pool pump about 7 hours a day just to see what the bill would be. Ended up being $42.17. WOW !!!

I had heard so many horror stories from friend about other solar companies and now I just tell them they should have gone with Semper Solaris ????. Top Notch company. Thank You again for everything.

Rae the solar consultant has done an OUTSTANDING job for my family from explaining the system to designing the perfect system to showing us step by step what our panels are doing to produce electrical power for our house. Once the system was up and running she came out and walked us through the on/off breakers and switches.
Carlos M was my construction manager for my roof installation. He was OUTSTANDING. He explained everything step by step and always kept me up to date on the next step/process. Him and his work crew did an awesome Job.

After selling solar for the past 9 years I finally got to have a system installed at my home! Of course I choose Semper Solaris because they are the best company in the business. Some may say that I am bias because I work for them. I'm lucky to work for a company who really cares about their employees and their customers. Their pricing is the best value for what you get.

It was great to be on the customer end of things to see how my clients feel. The process was streamlined and the office did everything that I preached to my clients daily. I only had to deal with the bank online and Semper took care of the rest. The installers were very friendly and finished the entire job in one day. Mike was great to work with as he helped us get the system turned on and our monitoring all set up!

Gavin and the other folks with the Semper Solaris team made this process easy and enjoyable. The financial decision easy to understand, and the process to acquire a loan quick and rather painless.

We had a 14-panel system with Panasonic panels installed. Communication for installation was extremely clear, timelines were kept, and the folks who came to do the hard work were professional. The handoff of the solution was well handled. I would recommend this team to anyone looking into solar and I may come back later to look at a batter solution sometime next year.
