We got our roof completely re done and installed solar panels. All the process went smoothly, we were getting constant updates about our project. We highly recommend to work with Semper Solaris. Their prices are very affordable and their customer service is exceptional.

I would like to say I went out to get 4 estimates for Solar and had some outrages quotes until Mark Ivory from Semper Solaris came over. First let me tell you the other three gave me cost ranges of over ten thousand dollars differences and all wanted to repair or upgrade my electrical panel at additional 3-5k more. Then when they heard the other quotes, they wanted to match that quote. Kind of late don’t you think.
Mark Ivory came over very polite and asked to see my electrical panel, by the way he was the only one that looked at the panel. After a glance of the meter we went inside, sat down and he explained the company he seemed so proud of. Then we got into the meat and potatoes. He was over ten thousand less and his product sounded better. Panasonic has a great name base and I asked about the efficiency which he proudly told me and of course I had been researching efficiency and Panasonic beat the others. Then when I asked about my electrical panel and how much he delighted me by saying they did not have to upgrade they would be putting in SDGEs box which did two things, saved me money and Mark Ivory said should cut down time because SDGEs equipment is added so they like to see it working.
Well Mark Ivory and Semper Solaris were stating they would cut down time and put up a superior product. I did weigh all options and I went with Semper Solaris. As promised the time frame was cut down and Mark Ivory kept me informed the whole process. Delivering what they say seemed to be the norm. Semper Solaris would say next step should be in two to three weeks and a week later it was done.
Mark Ivory seems to be working for a team that cares and wants customers satisfied. And I am completely satisfied with Semper Solaris.

SEMPER SOLARIS I THOUGHT WAS A GOOD COMPANY WHEN I HAD MY PANELS INSTALLED. NOW I DISCOVERED THEY TOOK A SHORT CUT THAT NOW IS CAUSING THE MONITORING SYSTEM TO SEND ME A NOTICES THAT THE PANELS ARE NOT REPORTING. I WAS TOLD BY SEVERAL SOURCES THAT A SUB-PANEL SHOULD HAVE BEEN INSTALLED WITH THE SYSTEM,
I WANT TO ADD SOME PANELS TO MY SYSTEM AND ASK FOR A PRICE AND I'M STILL WAITING FOR A REPLY ( IT'S BEEN A WHILE ). IN THE BEGINNING SEMPER SOLARIS HAD GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NOW NOT SO MUCH. NOW WHEN I THINK OF SEMPER SOLARIS I'M STARTING TO PUT THEM I THE SAME CATEGORY AS SEARS, ONCE A GOOD COMPANY
I WOULD LIKE HELP WITH MY SERVICE COMPLAINTS, I FEEL IGNORED WHEN I CONTACT THE COMPANY. I HOPE I CAN GET A SOLUTION BEFORE I RIGHT A REVIEW..

FRIENDS DON'T LET FRIENDS USE SEMPER SOLARIS.

THEY OFFERED ME $1,000 AS HUSH-MONEY:
They didn't want me to tell of my awful experience and the only way they would partially make it right (give me $1,000 back) was if I signed a hush agreement. The debased ethics of the owners was on full display - truly despicable. For everything I went though, they offered me a 3% discount - they do not deserve a 97% for the job they did - they were awful to work with. I refused the $1,000, because I want everyone to know who these guys really are. For all that I went through with them - this review only scratches the surface and emphasizes the worst parts, but there is so much more - it is important to me that no one works with them.

DO NOT trust Semper Solaris. Notice how none of the reviews you'll find have anything good to say when things go wrong - Semper Solaris is full of empty promises and does not do the right thing when they mess up. I am also a local business owner and if me or my company acted like these guys I’d deserve to go out of business. Integrity is best displayed not when things go right, but when things go wrong. THE OWNERS OF SEMPER SOLARIS LACK INTEGRITY. There is much more to this than I will include in this review, but I can tell you that this company cares more about money than they do about people. I contracted with Semper Solaris to put 20 panels on my roof. Here are some of the ways that they failed.

MY PROJECT WAS SUPPOSED TO TAKE 3 MONTHS, BUT TOOK 7 MONTHS:
The contract we signed on 6/4/18 said the project would take between 10-12 weeks (less than 3 months) and they just finished on 1/7/19. It is true that there can be delays outside of the control of solar companies, but my project was full of Semper not showing up when they told me they would and of them taking weeks to do the next part of project after all the permits and work orders were approved. We have 4 young kids and it was really hard to work around their schedule when they showed up unannounced or didn't show up when they say they would. This cost us months of additional power, too, because each month they caused delays I didn't get any relief from the solar panels with my power bills.

THEY LEFT MY PROPERTY AND MY NEIGHBOR'S PROPERTY COVERED IN MUD:
Their trenching crew left for a weekend and there was mud all over the retaining wall, sidewalk, street and my neighbor's driveway (and dirt covered their vehicles, meters and trash barrels). I felt terrible for the mess and spent about an hour cleaning up after them. I brought this to their attention and they did nothing about it, except tell me that they "chewed out those employees." They failed to see how it affects me and only think that I want to get employees in trouble. Related to this - my neighbor is a 94 year old WWII vet and he made a point to share with me how embarrassed he was of the work ethic of the crew at my house. The owners, Shawn and John, have made millions by marketing to the appeal of supporting veterans and in this case they were a complete embarrassment to the honor of our veterans. Part of the reason I chose to work with them was because of this, but their lack of discipline was disappointing. The owners unwillingness to take ownership of their employees' failures is an even greater disgrace to the men and women who have served this country with such honor. Additionally, they used my hose for their trenching, they left it on when they left and it baked out in the sun all day, leaking water. My hose was ruined - this cost me $50 to replace and they did not cover the cost.

THEY ENTERED MY HOUSE WITHOUT ASKING PERMISSION:
This is the second worst part of the entire experience. One of their employees was supposed to come to my house for an inspection and came 6 days after he was originally scheduled to come. I was at work and he called me to say that he needed to do an external inspection of the work that had been performed and it would take 5 minutes. My wife was home with the our 4 kids and putting our 1 year old daughter down for a nap. One of their employees talked to my 7 year old through the window and accepted his help to come into my house to get in the attic. THEY NEVER TOLD MY WIFE THEY WERE THERE OR COMING IN. The employee fell through our dining room ceiling and it terrified my wife. She thought someone had broken into the house. The employee is lucky he wasn't shot and my family is fortunate nothing worse happened (beyond being terrified). When I confronted the company about how absolutely unacceptable this is, they said sorry, but they were not willing to admit that it was any "real damage" to us. This is crazy to me - they entered my house with permission from a 7 year old and their employee fell through my ceiling and they felt a telephonic apology was sufficient. The anxiety this caused is real and it infuriated me that they didn't think it was a bigger deal.

THEY PLACED AN UNLAWFUL LIEN ON MY HOUSE:
This isn't even the worst ethical failure, but it is substantial. As we were nearing the end of the project we were having conversations about the financial impact of their failures and they were not willing to make it right. They said they were not willing to meet with me to discuss it any further. They told me that the only way we could continue the conversation was if I had my lawyer contact them. I did that and they placed a lien on my house. A lien can only be filed when a contractor completes the job AND if the client refuses to pay for finished work. THEY HAD NEITHER FINISHED THE WORK NOR HAD I REFUSED TO PAY (they didn't even provide a final invoice). They placed a lien on my house and threatened to file for foreclosure. This is so unethical and proves that they are willing to lie in order to push people around. This wouldn't have gone anywhere, because we paid in full, but they were just being bullies.

Last Fall we decided to look into solar since our electric bill continued to rise. We interviewed two prominent solar companies in the San Diego area and decided on Semper Solaris primarily due to our Senior Energy and Roof Consultant, Rhami H. Rhami was very professional and anytime I had a question he responded promptly. One of the best Reps I have ever had. He represents his company very well and Semper Solaris should be very proud of him. Unfortunately, I had a serious medical issue so decided not to go forward with the project. If you are looking at solar I definitely recommend Rhami H at Semper Solaris.

Our energy consultant, Ryan Travalini, was informative and really helped us to understand the benefits of clean solar energy. We have had a very positive experience during the entire projects realization and would be willing to recommend them to our friends and family.

Mark I of Semper Solaris is an outstanding representative and solar expert. He follows through on every aspect of the process and keeps you informed of progress and next steps. I was referred to Mark by some long time 40+ year friends who said he had helped them get solar installed on their house. Mark did a phenomenal job on my first house and my SDG&E bills evaporated! Throughout the time I owned the home any time the solar went off line (you can check how much energy you are generating with the great APP) or any question I had Semper Solaris was outstanding and quickly resolved the issue. They sent replacement parts to connect to the internet or came to my house to fix it at no cost, which is great service! They are a veteran owned company and I appreciate that since I am also a veteran, they take good care of the people who have served our country. I sold my old home and bought a new one. Despite my neighbor’s recommendations to use the company that did their home who just had solar installed, I called Mark and he came out and it is impressive to see the advances in technology in just a few short years and the great growth of Semper Solaris. I trust Mark, he is a professional, he follows up, answers emails and texts in a rapid manner and I know he will make sure I get the best possible service and solar system at a great price. He has become someone I can trust and I have recommended him to others who have also purchased solar through Mark and Semper Solaris. I purchased my new system from Mark and we are going through the process of approvals, permits, installation and eventually turn on and I know I can count on Mark to make it happen. I highly recommend you contact Mark and Semper Solaris for installation of solar on your house. With some of their new loan programs it is basically free, you can pay it off over time by replacing your SDG&E bill payment with a solar payment or just pay up front, whatever works best for you. I’ve been thinking about solar for a while now and finally had my first meeting with a Semper Solaris representative. Mark I was very professional. He was punctual and very knowledgeable about the product. He answered all of our questions and I felt very good about the whole experience and product. They are at the top of my list!!!

If you are looking for solar, stop now! Semper Solaris is the company you want to choose. I had a 5 star experience from start to finish! We first met with Gavin to go over all of our solar needs. He answered all of our questions and was more knowledgeable than several other companies I met with. Our new system actually cost less than I was expecting! We also upgraded to a 200amp service panel during the install. All in all top notch service all the way!

Semper solaris Bakersfield has the absolute worse customer service! my job took about 7mos. Failed inspection and my panel had to be moved twice. they lost the plans to my job. I had to turn to youtube to learn how to turn it on because they wouldn't call me back!

Solar system is complete and generating solar power! Being a former Navy Captain I reached out to Semper Solaris since they are veteran owned and operated. My wife and I met with Genevieve the solar representative. She was very informative and took the time to explain everything very thoroughly and was very patient answering all of our questions. She's the girl you need to talk with about solar! We had shopped around and the price was right in the middle of all our quotes, we never go with the cheapest. Made that mistake before!
The office did a great job at communication through the entire project. SDGE of course was a little bit of a pain to work with waiting for them to install my RMA. The installer were very friendly and did the job faster than I expected. They cleaned up the job site and even knocked on the door when hey were leaving to say bye. The system was turned on only 3 days after inspection had been completed! I've read it takes some companies weeks or even months which scared me. Semper did a great job and I'm excited to finally tell SDGE to stick it once and for all!

Recently finished our New roof and Solar system with Semper Solaris. After having a friend have his solar done by them we decided to get some quotes. Working with Mark I we got a quote that was lower than the competition and the product offered was far better. Semper Solaris was even great at moving our install date on short notice to better fit our needs. The install was quick and professional and very clean. The roof install team led by Cesar A was very helpful everyday they were onsite. I would totally recommend this company to friends who are looking to get solar.

I am a retired homeowner and I'm on a fixed income and was sick and tired of my bill going up and down and not being able to budget for it. I've been shopping for solar for the past 2 months (met with 7 companies) and after meeting with Rhami, I felt the most comfortable with him and his proposal. He was clear and concise in explaining everything to me and made it easy to understand . He told me he would send my proposal within 24 hours and he sent it that same day which showed me that my project mattered to him. It was easy to say Yes! He even came back over to meet with me again and iron out my last concerns. Rhami was available though out the installation process and answered any questions I had. The whole process was faster than expected (7 weeks). The crew was on time and picked up after themselves and my solar system was installed in 1 day. Very efficient! Very happy with my American made solar system from Semper Solaris!
