Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I received this letter from Seterus and there are a few items that are incorrect (highlighted) First, no copies of the letters were provided w/ this page response The notation from September 12th is also wrong, my wife never called Seterus to request a postponement of the foreclosure date Our realtor [redacted] did have a buyer (see Sept12th note) That offer was for 335k which was only 2k lower than what Seterus accepted as a foreclosure sale from another buyer My payoff requests are accurate but this doesn't address the issue that we never received any day notification that there was a sale pending from another buyer The prompt response from Seterus about this complaint is ironic considering how difficult it was to get a mortgage release from them because that process is so full of holes it made us wonder if anyone ever got approved We applied at least times and got denied My wife was proactive and would call daily for updates and to confirm if Seterus had all the necessary items to be approved She was told all the time that it was ok and being escalated Afterwards we would find out that we missed something or incorrectly filled out a document even though it wasn't made clear up front until it was too late That is why we had to go into the short sale process to begin with If you want to improve your services please look into having a separate loan escalation department that has reps available once a borrower has to do a mortgage release instead of making your borrowers have to go thru the 1st tier reps and repeat the same info over and over again We would find out that our information would not be updated correctly from previous calls Seterus would send out letters that would have differing messages on what the status was of our mortgage release application so it made us wonder if our loan was on different servers? Not being able to escalate a call to a supervisor or manager is another thing that was frustrating so we ended up trying to explain our situation repeatedly to the customer reps that tried really hard but were not prepared to handle our issues Our property is foreclosed and there's nothing we can do about it now but this complaint is just an attempt for Seterus to seriously review their methods of loan handling so other borrowers don't have to have their credit screwed up unnecessarily Sincerely, [redacted]

In response to the companies response, I never received any communication from them nor did my lawyer Again, they continue to fabricate stories to avoid any and all responsibility I would kindly like to ask them to provide me with a copy of this letter they supposedly sent - I see files on the Revdex.com.org site, however I can’t open them so I can’t be sure.I am still awaiting some form of settlement from them, in addition to the refund of the funds in my escrow account now that my refinance has finally been processed and closed.Thank you [redacted]

I received the payoff quote the same day I requested it after all the "drama" and communication from the call center rep saying it would be to days I am not sure if I should proceed with my complaint as this point since I got what I needed However, I do think their policy to say it will take to days in very misleading and creates a lot of unnecessary emotional energy for the customer and the customer service rep Thank you for the follow up [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Seterus has not returned my phone calls regarding the reimbursement of escrow funds (Seterus' escrow handler, Loretta LLC, paid property taxes for my former home after they had already been paid at the closing - so property taxes in the amount of $1,were paid twice)My town's tax collector returned the property tax payment to Loretta LLC I have called Damian G [redacted] (person from Seterus who responded to Revdex.com) twice (Feb and March 1) and he has yet to respond to my request to have the money refunded to me.Although Seterus claims to have requested the day late be removed from my credit report, I have yet to see that this is true Upon receipt of a clean credit report and the overpaid property taxes ($1,545.08), I will not be satisfied with Seterus' response Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:we received a letter from lender stating the $1,utility bill was there mistake made in May 2015, and was realized in June of 2015, but it is just now being corrected and a new payment was issued for the month of Jan in the amount of $Thank you it's about time In May of lender was paid $4,to keep property out of foreclosure.This included payments of $for Dec, 2014, Jan, Feb, Mar, April, May, plus other outrageous fees for attorney and inspections for a total of $4,this is how they broke it down, this is their payment plus escrow fees...Dec 402.25+=$513.70, Jan 2015, 402.25+111.45=$513.70, Feb 2015, 402.25+51.17=453.42, Mar 2015, 402.25+51.17=$453.42, April 402.25+140.50=542.75, May 402.25+140.50= These months plus other fees added up to the $ June,July,Aug I also paid $each monthSept, Oct, I paid $each monthNov, Dec, I paid $each month Lender has been overcharging me for over a yearSince Dec of lender has charged me $to Dec of If my payment should have been $490.97, my total for same time frame should have been $leaving a difference of $that I was overcharged during that time periodAlso I paid lender Dec 2014, Jan, Feb, Mar $($per month) That is a total of $I have been overcharged during this time All I have received from lender is an oops!!! They are sorry for the inconvenienceNo mention of a refund or even a credit Now my payment is $and that is still based on a deficiency in my escrow in the amount of $which if I paid in full my payment would be $Being the generous people they are, they are spreading the $over months making the payment $I feel the lender has overcharged plenty to cover any deficiency, and I should get back the balance of the $once the deficiency is taken care of.Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: After reviewing the latest response letter from Seterus it did have the attachments that were previously mentioned ncluding the Notice of Sale Here are issues to bring up The phone call that was noted by Seterus on 9/did not occur with my wife We have children, ages yrs and months so my wife would not have the time to sit down and call Seterus especially if there was no reason to call in Perhaps a recording of the call was saved to find out who exactly who it was that called in? We did not receive the Notice of Sale letter at our change of residence but we did receive other letters with the same type of format but they were not Notice of Sale letters I have attached these for review Not sure why we received those letters but not the Notice of Sale because our change of address was already processed with the post office since we were getting other items from Seterus After being told about the sale I went to the property to check the mail one last time and the post office did place a note that it was vacant so all mailings would have been forwarded Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: How is it not the responsibility of my loan servicer to provide the borrower with a loan amortization schedule? I did not choose Seterus as my loan servicer This loan was originally opened through [redacted] and changed to [redacted] who changed to Seterus Because if it were by choice I would never choose to use Seterus to service my loan I can't change loan servicers without being charged to do so So it is Seterus responsibility to assist their borrowers with information they need in order to best serve all parties As per NYS law I am entitled to an accurate account of all payments made since the origination of this loan and that's what I want All principle, interest, escrow payments Seterus has days You keep quoting me NYS law but you are not following the law Here's a link I suggest the company read it http://www.dfs.ny.gov/legal/regulations/emergency/banking/ar419tx.htm Section b As per your understanding of the law that Seterus is obligated to have notices sent out each time you are contacted by telephone, website or written correspondance, this only applies if there is reason to believe that their are errors in the account Not every time I access the [redacted] website with my user name and password If there's a change to my account notify me, if theres an adjustment to my profile notify me, if I request any information notify me DON'T NOTIFY ME THAT I ACCESSED YOUR [redacted] WEBSITE WITH THE CORRECT USER NAME AND PASSWORD! the only thing seterus has done is send us a different type of payment ,and property tax print outs and a bill for escrow payment
