ATTACHEDJune 14, 2017 Revdex.com of Central Indiana 151 N Delaware Street #2020 Indianapolis, IN 46204-2599 ID [redacted] Please accept this letter as sufficient response to an inquiry I received regarding [redacted] on June 2, 2017. We at Phoenix Financial Services LLC strive to deliver professional and friendly service to all consumers. Furthermore, we respect the laws and the state and federal agencies that oversee compliance. I appreciate this issue being brought to my attention. Phoenix Financial Services LLC is a third party collection agency. Upon review of your inquiry, I determined that the following concern was raised: ? The consumer states that this account has been opened in error. I personally conducted an internal investigation, which consisted of the following: ? I reviewed this file as well as all notes that are associated with the file. ? Upon conclusion of my internal investigation, I determined the following: ? At this point in time this account is closed in our office. It has been returned to the creditor. Along with closing the account a request for credit reporting deletion was sent. ? The request was submitted on 5/5/2017. It is now the responsibility of the credit bureaus themselves to delete any remarks from credit. I hope that this sufficiently addresses your concerns; however, I encourage you to contact me at je[redacted]@phoenixfinancialsvcs.com if I can be of further assistance. Federal law requires me to inform you that this communication is from a debt collector. This communication is being sent as a response to a dispute only and is not an attempt to collect a debt. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[The response from the business is unclear and clarity is needed before I can proceed. Their response was that they are to be sent the EOB but it hasn't happened. To whom are the awaiting the EOB from; The office in which the payment was sent originally, the client or the Insurance company? It is in my personal opinion that the information be sent back to the party in which forward this to the collections so that they may correct the wrong. The company was supplied with the original Explanation of Benefits but failed to process the payment & contractual write off appropriately before forwarding it to collections & should handle getting the replacement EOB from UMR. Please give a clearer explanation from whom they are requesting information from.

The consumer's original complaint stated that we did not provide documentation stating the consumer's right to dispute.  We submitted a response detailing exactly how we provided the disputed documentation.  The documentation was already provided, and will not be provided through the Revdex.com portal.  We have responded to and addressed the consumer's complaint.  We are requesting that this matter be closed due to our cooperation in closing this matter.  Thank you.

ATTACHEDDecember 6, 2017 Revdex.com of Central Indiana 151 N Delaware Street #2020 Indianapolis, IN 46204-2599 ID [redacted] Please accept this letter as sufficient response to an inquiry I received regarding [redacted] on November 27, 2017. Consumer states the representative advised them that information detailing how to submit payments would be sent to them. ? Consumer states they were unaware collection fees would be added by the creditor if payments were not made in the required time. I personally conducted an internal investigation, which consisted of the following: ? I reviewed this file as well as all notes and call recordings that are associated with the file. Upon conclusion of my internal investigation, I determined the following: ? The letter confirming the agreement contained the payment terms and due date, along with the address to mail payments. Additionally, the representative advised the consumer she had the option to call back after all documentation was complete to setup automatic payments. ? The creditor sent a letter to the consumer advising of the addition of collection fees if no payment was made by the 60-day date from default as listed in the letter. Additionally, upon placement in this office a letter was sent advising of the addition of collection fees by the creditor if payment was not received by the 60-day mark as well. ? Payments were set to avoid the fees, but the payment was not received. I hope that this sufficiently addresses your concerns; however, I encourage you to contact me at je[redacted]@phoenixfinancialsvcs.com if I can be of further assistance. Federal law requires me to inform you that this communication is from a debt collector. Sincerely, Justin E[redacted], CompliancePO Box 361450; Indianapolis, IN 46236 | 855-342-6567

This business says they cannot speak regarding the original debt.  I do not owe the original debt.  The only one pursuing the original debt is this business.  If they cannot speak to the original debt, which I don't owe, then how do I resolve the matter with this business?  They cannot keep try to collect a debt about which they refuse to speak.  They say they don't know what happened before the debt came to them.  They should know wether or not it is a valid debt and they should be required to prove it is avalif debt if they are going to pursue collection of the debt.  If they cannot speak to the original debt, then they have no business trying to collect it.

This is only telling me that they will see if they accept my documents. These documents are the actual verification letters from Medicaid to prove coverage what is there to check. This is not saying how long it will take to verify you have had the documents for almost two weeks. Once this is done I need a letter confirming this account is closed and off my credit report and that's when I would consider it resolved.Regards,[redacted]

We are requesting that this complaint be closed out, due to already meeting the consumer's requests.  In our response, which was in writing, it was stated that a request for credit deletion was sent to the credit bureaus.  The time-frame in which the deletion takes place is now up to the credit bureaus.  The account status will be determined by the creditor, and will be closed once they request it to be closed.  As for the concern of our company selling this account, we are a third-party collection agency.  We do not sell, nor do we buy, any accounts.  We have met the consumer's request, and consider this rejection to be unwarranted.

Thank you for this information.  I have sent to the Chief Operating Officer to review the calls on this account for possible training opportunities.  He may be calling to obtain additional information or clarification.  The client has already sent this account to us as an insurance...

account to process earlier today.   I have placed the account in a hold status and blocked any credit reporting on the account while awaiting insurance billing and payment.  I apologize for the confusion for this consumer.  We are certainly able to submit for billing and follow-up as an agency.Kimberly [redacted]Phoenix Financial Services LLC

We have reviewed the consumer's rejection.  There is no legal reason that we have to delete credit reporting on this account.  However, in the interest of providing a customer service experience we have requested that the information be deleted from the consumer's credit report.  Please note, the request has been submitted, and at this time the process of deleting the information falls to the credit bureaus themselves.  Further complaints will not expedite the request.
