Review: I gave a $ 500 deposit for a trailer in September 2015 in which was to be completed in November 2015. I have been told by them several times that they would get back to me with a delivery date. They would never get back to me. Have sent many emails and have left many telephone messages with no response.Desired Settlement: Provide trailer as per our contract or return the deposit.

Review: Seller has failed to deliver purchased item and is not answering emails. Seller listed two phone #s to contact - one is no longer in service; the other one has a voice mail message saying they are not taking phone calls and instructed the caller to use their email.Payment for item (a utility trailer) was made on Oct 31, 2014 for $2375.00 which included a delivery fee. Last communication from seller was an email dated 9 Dec, 2014 indicating delivery would be in "a week or two. None of my emails have been answered since then.Given the above, I suspect the seller is going out of business; in which case I will likely have no chance of recovering my funds.Promised delivery date on contract is Nov 19, 2014Desired Settlement: Since the seller refuses to communicate, I would prefer a full refund. The seller offers a 7 yr warranty on this item, but with the way they have handled this transaction, I could not feel comfortable that they would honor the warranty.

This conduct of this business was spectacular! From initial contact to the (voluntary) home delivery...it was customer service second to none.

Received my custom ordered 5.5 x 10 utility trailer today 6-20-2016. I am very picky about quality and service. I will say this has been a positive experience for me. Yes it took a few months to have it built but I was told that up front. They even delivered to my location, for a very small reasonable charge. Trailer looks great, lots of special care taken to build it. I would rate this transaction A plus, things seem to be going good now for them.

Review: Paid for a trailer on August 13-2014Contract states delivery end of September early Oct. 2014have left numerous messages and emails with no reply.Desired Settlement: I wish to have a full refund or the ordered completed within two weeks

Re: Complaint—ID [redacted]

This letter is in response to the complaint ID referenced above. We have contacted this customer and

informed him that we are working to complete his trailer as quickly as possible. At the time of purchase

this customer agreed to the acknowledgment per our contract that there could be possible delays in the

construction of his trailer since it is a custom built product based on his requirements. This customer

requested an upgrade to a different size trailer, therefore, it changed the lead time for axles and frame

material from our suppliers. We anticipate this product will be completed within the next few weeks.

We will continue to work with this customer to complete his order and do all we can to resolve the

supply delay. We will also continue to work with the Revdex.com to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

Please let us know if you require any additional information regarding this complaint.

I must admit, I was a little skeptical of Cargomaxxx with some of the reviews out there but Bruce quoted a good price and Curt made sure my trailer was shipped fast and on time. The trailer exceeded the quality I was expecting and overall I was very pleased with my experience with SIC/Cargomaxxx.

If you are looking for an aluminum trailer, I would highly recommend these guys. Fast delivery and good pricing with one of the nicest trailers I've seen on the market. They even set up delivery to my house.

Review: I talked to SIC Metals & Fabrication, LLC ( [redacted] ).I called 9-17-2014 left message,9-19-2014 left message,9-22-2014 left message,9-26-2014 left message,9-26-2014 sent fax,9-29-2014 left message. He sounded like a nice Guy. Ordered a custom made trailer [redacted] wanted 50% down. After talking to [redacted] for a while [redacted] added more free bells & whistles if I Paid for the Trailer in full. Like a dummy I did. TrailerDue date was 9-12-2014, I have called, E-mailed & faxed [redacted]. Not one returned or anything, its like the Company Closed.Desired Settlement: I would like my Money back Paid in Full. If this not done I will pursue Legal action & Bruce will be sued in Full Payment + Legal Expense.

This letter is in response to the complaint ID referenced above. We have contacted Mr. [redacted] and informed him that we are working to complete his trailer as quickly as possible. At the time of purchase Mr. [redacted] agreed to the acknowledgment per our contract that there could be possible delays in the construction of his trailer since it is a custom built product based on his requirements. As he has been made aware via e-mail conversation on 10/20/14, his custom built product has been delayed due to metal supply issues. He replied to this email and informed us to get it done as quickly as possible. While we are doing all we can to complete his order we do not have control on delivery of the required materials to complete his trailer since we do not own or operate the mill that produces these materials. We will continue to work with Mr. [redacted] to complete his order and do all we can to resolve the supply delay. Review: I drove to SIC Metals & Fabrication in Clarion, PA on Thursday, Sept.11 to pick up a trailer that I had custom ordered and pre-paid with a bank wire two months earlier. As I approached Danville, PA on I-80, I was startled to see the spare tire mount break away from the trailer after just 160 miles of travel. Needing to be at work the following day, I did not have the option to turn around (2.5 to 3 hours back-track, plus repair time, plus another 2.5 to 3 hours to get back to Danville. I called [redacted] (owner) on my cell phone from the McDonald's parking lot after I had retrieved the spare tire from the side of the road and spoke to him about what happened. After he assured me that we could "work something out..." and agreeing that I would call him again upon my arrival home, I continued on my road trip back to Stillwater, NY...my home at the time.He did not answer my calls. When I emailed SIC Metals & Fabrication, an employee said that [redacted] was out of the office due to an injury...which I totally believe having seen a bandage or cast when I was there in the shop. I asked them to send me two pieces of 2x2 aluminum tubing 26 1/2" so that I could straddle the failed location of the spare tire mount with the two tubes. The employee said that he had to get approval from [redacted]. In a later email the employee said that the request had been approved. Many emails have been sent inquiring when I could expect the delivery. I have received maybe an email or two giving excuses as to why they haven't shipped it yet. But, more recently, there are no responses. It has been over two months. It is costing me $35 for each tube to buy them on my own. Including taxes, I am seeking $75.Desired Settlement: I am asking that they send me two aluminum tubes that MATCH THE TUBING USED IN THE FABRICATION OF MY TRAILER. They need to be 36.5" long so that I can sandwich the tube that had the failed weld and caused the spare tire to break off my trailer while driving.Either they are willing to quickly provide me the two tubes as I have requested or pay me $75 for me to purchase the tubes closer to home.

Response:

Re: Complaint-ID [redacted]This letter is in response to the complaint ID referenced above. To address his additional comments, this tube was shipped shortly after the customer requested replacement materials. Under our warranty, any repairs not authorized under SIC Metals & Fabrication for warranty repair will be done at the customer’s expense. In this particular case, the customer did not have approval for these repairs, therefore it is now the customer's expense. Please let us know if you require any additional information regarding this complaint.Thank you,[redacted]SIC Metals & Fabrication, LLC. Review: I contacted [redacted] at SIC metals and fabrication in early october 2013 about building a 5 x 8 enclosed aluminum trailer (service I saw advertised on [redacted]. After several conversations on terms of the build (50% down and balance on pick up), I mailed him a check ($1900) and promptly received an invoice indicating receipt and stated balance/build date of Jan 2014. I contacted him several times by phone and email over the months of Feb, March, April and May. When I did get a response, he stated he was having problems sourcing materials. I stated that I would like a firm build date. On 3/8/14 I again requested a build date and did receive a response that day that a build date would be forthcoming next week, which never occurred. Afterwards my inquiries (email and phone message)were ignored. On 4/22/14, I emailed [redacted] that if I did not receive proper communication from this inquiry I would proceed with: a complaint to the Revdex.com, file a complaint of possible mail fraud with the [redacted](deposit was sent via mail)and drive up a file a small claims suit. I received an immediate response via email that "Either you can continue to wait as we must for the quality material or we can refund you within 30 days". I have yet to receive any refund and he will no longer respond to my phone calls or email. I am hoping a call from the Revdex.com will have some result or I will proceed with a [redacted] complaint and make a trip to the area in July and file suit. I have kept record of all our communications and invoices. At best this proprietor is a skilled fabricator but a very poor businessman. My mistake for not checking the local Revdex.com prior.Desired Settlement: refund of $1900 as agreed on

My trailer was late and emails and phone calls went unanswered as many complained. But my trailer was delivered and it's great. Built very well and was a great price. I had never meet Bruce in person. All contact was via phone and email while ordering. My image of him wasnt good when I tried to contact him, but when I met him it totally changed. He is a nice guy with a lot on his plate. His company is small. Just him and a couple helpers . Almost a one man show. Unfortunately being small and placing smaller orders of supplies it dose make it difficult to get some needed products for completing a custom trailer. After meeting with him I understand the delays. The trailer they built me is great. I would recomend them on the premiss that it may take 6 months to get your trailer. Thanks bruce.

Review: Contracted with sic metals and fabrication llc, to build an aluminum utility trailer 4/23/14 per invoice [redacted] with a delivery date of 7/1/14. Paid in full in the amount of $2,050.00, to date have not received any response from the company as to a delivery date or refund. Have sent several e-mails and phone calls, with no response. Don't know if the company is still in business or it was a scam from the start. Did see a trailer on e-bay for sale from a business in Connecticut, manufactured by sic metals and fabrication llc, for $2,300.00, with a build date of 11/29/14, which matched the exact specifications of the trailer they were supposed to build for me.Desired Settlement: Refund of $2,050.00

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: I contacted [redacted] at SIC Metals and Fabrication on July 23, 2014 about building open aluminum trailer. I mail him a check with full payment of $3600. He received check on July 28 (I have USPS tracking number) and check was cashed on July 30 (according to my bank). On July 29, 2014 I received email with invoice of balance $0 (confirmation of payment received in full). My trailer completion date, according to purchase agreement, was set on August 29, 2014. On August 29 and after this date I send many requests about order status. I received few infrequent email responses include no concrete information: axle problem and health issue (?). On September 29, 2014 I proposed to refund for my order. I have not been able to contact the company by phone. Still no communication with SIC Metals.I am hoping call from the Revdex.com will have some positive results. At this moment the status, in my opinion, is mail fraud and money defraud.Desired Settlement: I like to get my money back in the same form was send to SIC Metals & Fabrication. Cashier check with my name on it.

Review: I paid Bruce and SIC Metals a $2,125.00 deposit with a personal check for a $4,250.00 aluminum new trailer on 11/19/2015. I was told 2-3 months max until my trailer would be completed and I could pick it up. I then read all the reviews and complaints online and should have know better! Bruce is a low life XXX!!!! He even told me last week in an email response he will get back to me on the status of my trailer,"I promise"! And tonight his email and website is no longer valid....at least he is hopefully not scamming any others!!!!! I just want my hard earned money back in a refund since he obviously did not build a trailer for me!Desired Settlement: I just want my money back so I don't have to take Bruce and SIC Metals to a small claims court in his county....

Thanks, Larry . Wyse

Review: In January 2015 I paid Sic Metals in full to build and deliver me a trailer. The estimated completion date of the trailer was to be 4-16-15. I have attempted to contacted Sic Metals several times via phone and email to get a build status update and to nail down a delivery date but have got no response. It is critical that I get this trailer by 5-1-15 to run my business.Desired Settlement: I want a phone call from the Sic Metals ASAP and I want my trailer on or before 5-1-15.

Review: Order my 2013 trailer in March of 2013 and was to be delivered by June 17 2013, was never delivered. Emailed [redacted] in November and talked him into building me a new 16 foot 2014 and told him to forget the 14 foot 2013. It is August 13 2014 and I don't have any trailer, it was to be here in March of 2014 but after all the phone calls and emails that he won't answer . When he did answer it was always in two weeks, that is sad when I paid him in full 4200.00 thinking I would get my trailer faster if it was paid off. It has been 17 months and still NO TRAILER?Desired Settlement: I wish [redacted] would keep his word and send what is on the invoice. I did pay for it .

HE SAID HE WOULD CANCEL THE ADVERTISED BID WITH EBAY. I LATER HAD TO SIGN OFF WITH EBAY.I PAID FOR MY TRAILER IN FULL($4,749.99) I WAS TOLD THE TRAILER WOULD BE READY ON MAY 10,2014. EVERY TIME I HAVE CALLED IF I GOT AHOLD OF [redacted], IT WAS ONE EXCUSE AFTER ANOTHER, WAITING FOR AXLES, OR SO CALLED PRODUCT. IT IS NOW 7 MONTHS, NO TRAILER ON RESPONSE FROM EMAILS OR PHONECALL. It was one of the easiest transactions I've ever done. And tha quality of my trailer meets or even exceeds my expectations.

Review: I placed an order for a CargoMAXX trailer on February 26, 2015 and paid in full with money order, invoice #[redacted] . Before placing the order, I spoke with the owner and told him of my need for the trailer by the end of April 2015 for a household move. He checked materials and called me back indicated materials were in stock and they could complete the trailer by the timeframe needed. In the weeks following the due date, I left several messages at the phone numbers provided that were never returned. I finally received an e-mail from an employee on May 14th that they were experiencing a delay in materials for the completion of the trailer. I called many more times, and finally received a message from the same employee on 5/29 that indicated she had no furthur updates and [redacted] had been in contact with me. This was not true as I never received a return call from [redacted]. On June 9th I drove to the location during business hours and found no staff available, and no one answered the phone number listed on the business door. Fearing fraud, I contact the [redacted] Police Department to file a report. I finally received the following message from the employee on 6/13, " Here is an update for you as of today per [redacted]: We are still waiting on diamond plate needed to complete your trailer. He anticipates having your trailer completed in approximately 2 weeks. We can provide you with another update next week and set a firm completion and pick up date." Based on similar Revdex.com complaints, I feel this is a delay tactic. I have contacted legal counsel and am prepared to file a claim in court if my trailer is not received or a full refund issued by July 13, 2015.Desired Settlement: Refund or trailer availble for pickup by July 13, 2015

Review: I have ordered my trailer in August of 2013 and paid $3000 for the first half. I was told delivery would be in spring of 2014 when the snow melted to aid with delivery. Since then I have had trouble communicating with the company through email and phone. Once in awhile I get someone on the phone and I am told my trailer is in line to be built but their supplier is holding them up. I asked for a refund and was told my contract prohibited that because it states they have no control over supply issues and they have already invested more than my deposit in the trailer. Regardless, this is terrible service. I hope other people read this before buying from Cargomaxxx or sic metals. I will also post a review on the [redacted] message boards since they sell on their too. I will also consult legal advice by next Tuesday.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of my deposit by certified check.

SIC Metals is a small shop with Bruce, Curt and Andy, but cranks out an unmatched quality product for a better than reasonable cost. Doubt you can find a place east of the Mississippi that can provide such a product. I looked for months till I came across them. They are VERY flexible when it comes to building what YOU want and are definite experts in the field and keep on top of current technology. Top quality materials, design and workmanship throughout. Only issue is it took a long time to finish the trailer. Understandably there were delays due to parts supplier issues, Bruce was injured, and I changed the design twice so..... good things come to those who wait. Thanks, guys ! Stan
