Review: I had contacted the said company to build me a custom aluminum trailer,we entered into the contract in June of 2015..at that time I sent them a check for $2000.00 down plus I I had sent them a couple of extra led lights that I wanted installed onto my trailer..I was promised delivery of my trailer the following month, but as it stands to date I have yet to receive my trailer..Throughout the time of estimated delivery date till now,I have had multiple issues contacting the company, when you do get somebody to answer or return your calls,it always the same issue...parts on back order or whatever...and promised it would be done at another date...This company is full of excuse, but not in a hurry to produce when I ask for a refund I'm told we are in a contract and I'm not obligated to refund your money..I was told to pick my trailer up this past Saturday in which I arrived at their rented shop to my surprise nobody there, and nobody answers my calls at the 2numbers that I had for them..not to mention I drove almost 2hrs.to their shop,I ended up going to the local police station to file a complaint, and was informed that they actually have an officer that has been handling multiple complaints with this company..To my surprise that Monday afternoon I was contacted by Bruce R[redacted] and he stated he knew nothing about saturday, and tells me how this is not how he cunducts business,I asked for a refund and instead he tells me he can have my trailer delivered personally to me in 2weeks,then he says we can change this for you and I'll take $200.00 off of the remaining balance,I insisted on a refund and am told well here's what I'll do if and when I make and sell this trailer I may possably refund your .one then..but no promices..I'm amazed that they have been in business for over 15yrs.and they conduct business this way..I'm done and over with this company and I'm purchasing a trailer tomorrow from somewhere else for a fraction of the cost...pretty much same design but in steel instead of aluminum..I just want my money back now,how could they feel it's alright to not give my money back, never delivered product all they ever delivered is a bunch of lies!Desired Settlement: My $2000.00 back within the next week..

Review: I ordered a trailer on June 16, 2014 with an expected delivery date of August 15, 2014. I paid invoice # [redacted] in full: $4,150.00 for a [redacted] 7 x 14 MC Custom Built Aluminum Utility Trailer [redacted]. I personally arrive at the [redacted], PA location on August 18, 2014 to pick up the trailer. The owner at that time stated he had delays in materials and would deliver my trailer and add upgrades for my inconvenience of the trip from MO to PA to pick up the trailer on the date agreed upon. Several more e-mails and phone calls have gone unanswered. A certified letter was sent requesting the trailer or a refund of my money by October 31, 2014. On October 29, 2014 I received an email that stated my trailer was still being built, and that while they could not deliver the trailer by October 31, 2014, they would deliver shortly thereafter. It is now December 7, 2014 and the delivery of the trailer is now four (4) months overdue.Desired Settlement: I WOULD LIKE MY $4,150 RETURNED or trailer delivered by December 17, 2014.

I have been very pleased with my trailer, and have received many compliments on as to how it is built.

Review: I ordered a CARGOMAXXX Juggernaut Series 5’X10’ Custom Built Aluminum Utility Trailer on September 5, 2014 and also paid in full $2350.00. I was in correspondence with Sic Metals for the first three months or so. The original estimated delivery time frame was end of October – Mid November 2014. I had correspondences with Bruce on September 29, 2014 about being able to pick the trail up on November 11, 2014 and he said it should be done by then. On December 12, 2014 I again corresponded with Sic Metals and they told me they were waiting on material from the mill. On February 26, 2015 I emailed the Sic Metals again requesting a realistic delivery date and pictures of the trailer as it currently is. I have had no replies to my emails since then and every time I call and leave a message on their phone no one returns my call.Desired Settlement: I just want the trailer I ordered, in a reasonable amount of time. If the trailer cannot be delivered I want a full refund.

Review: SIC Metals was to fabricate custom trailer for me. I sent in deposit of $2,812.00 over three months ago. As of expected completion date of 12/15/2015, no documentation available from SIC of beginning of work on trailer. Now no response from SIC Metals at all.

I have complete history of emails showing excuse after excuse.

Only wish to have my deposit returned.Desired Settlement: Refund deposit immediately.

Review: [redacted]I paid in full with a check for the amount of $2,150.00 to Sicmetals & Frabication Cargomaxx trailers to have a aluminum trailer built, contract invoice#[redacted]on date 2/23/2015. The estimated date of completetion was 5/2015. Well it is now 11/2015 and I have no trailer OR my money returned. I have been taken advantage off strung along lied to deceived for months. I have been more then patience and reasonable waiting for my product to be built. I have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, PA Attorney Generals Office,Veteran Affairs, Bank of America (check fraud dept) and Clarion PA township Police Dept. and now the Office of the Revdex.com. I have spoke with lawyers in both states NJ,PA. I have a copy of my contract,15 emails, phone calls times and dates also a Police officer witness for the second time I was promised to have the trailer completed on a set date or all money returned. That date has came and went and I still have nothing. This is HORRIBLE business ethics fraud in the first degree and Theft bye Deception. This was a premeditated act of consumer fraud. This has happened to several out of state customers from this company. I should not have to travel 5hrs to go through small claims court to fight for what is mine and what I thought was a solid contract buisness deal with a legit company. On top of that I have to hire a attorney to get MY MONEY back from one Jason [redacted] R[redacted] owner or Sicmetals & Fab. He should be arrested for theft and fraud charges and never be allowed to open up another buisness or have a license to operate. Also pay all money's back to the people (clients )he has done this to in the past. Where is the JUSTICE? Who protects the consumer from business ethics and owners like this out their? This has been the most frustrating experience of my life. PLEASE STAY AWAY AVOID THIS COMPANY pass this on to everyone.Desired Settlement: I want my $2,150.00 returned in a certified check bye 11/13/2015. Or a warrant out for the arrest of the owner Jason [redacted] R[redacted] of Sicmetals & fabrication Cargomaxx trailers for Theft bye Deception.

Review: I contracted with SIC Metals doing business as Cargomazzz Trailers for the construction of an aluminum utility trailer. I was told by the owner, who I spoke to several times and who exchanged emails with me that if I made the deposit, I would have the trailer w/in 4 to 6 weeks. I signed their standard contract and made a deposit of $1,250. They cashed my check and I waited 4 weeks to call to see when I could collect the trailer so that I could make plans. I left no fewer than 20 voice messages and as many emails, but could not get a response. FInally I got an email response stating that the materials were on their way and that I would have my trailer in an another 2-4 weeks. I wait and then I call and and email get no response.I work for [redacted] and [redacted], so I had my team pull the information on SIC metals and as I suspected they a horrible rating and always pay vendors late. I finally sent another email and attached a copy of their *&* report and only then did I get a call. The person "John" who called me informed me that he was now handling customer service and that he would provide me with a firm delivery date. We also discussed the credit report I sent and as suspected, they cannot get materials. He told me that he was prioritizing trailers with an outstanding balance due to help with cash flow. Over the next month, he made comittments to get back to me but hever does. Three weeks ago, after I continued to call, he told me that they could not get the axel required to accomodate my order and asked if I would accept a slightly wider trailer and I agreed. John said if that was the case I'd have my trailer in 2 weeks, that was 5 weeks ago. I finally caught him again and he told me that they did not have the "decking" to build my trailer, but that it was comming that Thursday and he would call to confirm a delivery date. He never did. I finally caught hime again 2 weeks ago and he told me that we would confirm by the end of that week my firm delivery date but he never didDesired Settlement: I want my trailer as promised. I notice they are still advertising on places like [redacted] and taking new orders thay cannot fill. I asked John when I first spoke with him if he would rather simply refund my deposit and he told me they did not have the money to do so and "i'm better off building you a trailer"

Excellent trailer will buy from again

I have had the worst experience in my 58 years. I paid them $5200 last December for a trailer with promised delivery in February 2015. Have got the run around ever since. All I want is my money back and cannot get anyone to respond.

Review: HI; I ORDERED A CUSTOM BUILT ALUMINUN TRAILER FROM SIC 12-04-13 WHICH I PAYED FOR IT IN FULL $4650.00 THE INVOICE STATES THE TRAILER IS TO BE COMPLETED 04-10-14 STILL NO TRAILER. SIC MAILED ME A CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN, I REGISTERED, PAYED SALES TAX, AND HAVE CLEAR TITLE IN CT.FOR IT. SCI WILL NOT ANSWER ANY OF MY EMAILS PHONE CALLS AND I AM SENDING A REGISTERED LETTER TODAY. I HAVE BEEN VERY PATIENT LISTENING TO EVERY EXCUSE IMAGINABLE. I WOULD LIKE TO RESOLVE THIS BY EITHER HAVE THE TRAILER READY FOR PICK UP ON OR BEFORE 11-15-14 OR REFUND THE $4650.00Desired Settlement: EITHER HAVE THE TRAILER COMLETED FOR PICK UP ON OR BEFORE 11-15-14 OR REFUND $4650.00

Review: I purchased a custom made trailer from them. I signed a contract and sent my check in prior to 4/06/14 . I recieved an invoice stating that my trailer would be complete on 5/27/14. Since then , I have written and called multiple times , but cannot get any response . I am at my wits end . I realize production dates get delayed , but the lack of response is just plain unacceptable , not to mention they have a substantial sum of my money .Desired Settlement: I would like them to contact me asap and come to consensus on a acceptable completion date for the trailer

Response:

Just received an 6x10 aluminum Cargomaxxx trailer from the crew at sic metals. First off, I'm a welding inspector by trade and I've been in the welding industry for 20 years but I did not tell them when ordering.
I called the crew and ordered my trailer and made a few custom requests. Bruce and Curt were more than eager to call/email/text me with progress pics or questions they had for me and they answered and returned calls very quickly if I had questions for them. They delivered their trailer on time as promised. When I looked it over, I can honestly say, it was built with pride and done by a professional. It is near perfect. Prior to purchasing their trailer, I looked att he tractor supply aluminum trailer my friend purchased. It looked as if it was built by an amateur. He paid a couple bucks less than I, but I wouldn't take his trailer for free. The Cargomaxxx the crew at SIC metals built for me will be with me for the rest of my life and will probably last 100 years. It is truly that good. I would buy another without question. Thanks again to SIC metals. [redacted]

Review: I placed an order on September 13th 2015, with SIC Metals & Fabrication, LCC, Invoice # [redacted], for a CARGOMAXXX 6.5' x 14' custom built aluminum utility trailer. Estimated delivery time was End Oct 2014 - Mid November 2014. SIC Metals asked for full payment but I refused to pay full and paid 50% down on the trailer ($2000).

I 1st reached out to SIC Metals early November to verify when delivery would be with the Holidays up and coming. I also needed the trailer to haul my heavier equipment (reason for purchasing the trailer). I called several times with no luck of reaching and also sent the 1st email on Nov. 7th 2015, with no response. My first contact after the September 19th was in Mid - December by phone. I was told that they were having issues with supplier delays on materials and would get back to me with a delivery date.

On January 19th 2015, after several attempts by phone and voicemail's never returned, I emailed SIC metals again asking for my trailer build status and estimated delivery. I also continued to leave voicemail's with no responses. Their voicemail even stated several times they are not taking voicemails to email them and they would get back in 2 business days. LOL I emailed them again on February 14th 2015, and attached all previous emails.

I finally got a email response from Bruce on February 17th stating "Your trailer build is coming along nicely though and I will shoot you over some pictures as soon as possible with a completion date". LOL Another month went by with no response from SIC metals...I again emailed on March 5th and again on March 20th after many attempts by phone and voicemail left with no responses.

I continued to call and finally got Bruce on the phone April 21st and he stated the trailer would be ready in 2 weeks. Again time goes by and no contact from them about delivery. I called, left voicemail, and emailed them again on May 8th 2015.

On May 15th and May 28th I received emails from Bruce stating that they are "running a bit behind" and "suppliers keep pushing us out". That was the last email contact from SIC metals. I continue to call and leave voicemail's with no response from them. I did get someone on the phone in early July, that I gave an ear full to about how terrible customer service is and that I don't believe I'll ever get my trailer. He stated I will get my trailer....He was brought in to turn the company around and get them back on track. He stated that SIC Metals had not build a trailer in 4 months and they were now producing 4 trailers a week. I told him I hope they built mine before order that came after mine! He said yes there were orders outstanding longer than mine...those poor people, I'm going on 1 year and no trailer! That gave me a little hope and he promised I'd have my trailer by mid August.

I've continued to call and email, and as usual no response. SIC Metals voicemail now says they are not taking messages, to email them. I've continued to email and call daily and can't get them to respond. All I was is them to build my trailer or refund my down payment of $2000. I've been very patience and understanding, but I'm ready to take legal action as my next steps if this does not work.

Dissatisfied Customer,

[redacted]Desired Settlement: I either want my trailer to built by end of August 2015 or a full refund of $2000.

Review: In December 2014 I contracted with this company for a 6x10 aluminum trailer with a completion date of 2-12-2015. I have sent numerous emails and attempted to contact the Company on countless occasions and to date, May 19,2015, I have not heard back from these people. I emailed a complete package to you yesterday that includes all emails, a copy of the check this company deposited in Jan of this year, a copy of the contract and a copy of the letter I sent to the PA attorney Generals office.Desired Settlement: These people need to complete the trailer I paid for or send me a complete refund of my $1700.

Review: I ordered a trailer from SIC Metals 3/24/2014 with an estimated completion date of June 5 2014, paid in full. I have tried many times to contact to check on my trailer. if I do get an answer on the phone it is the same ,should be done in 2 weeks. I have tried phone calls and e-mail and it is not often I get any response.Desired Settlement: I would either like to have the trailer that I paid for or have my payment of $ 3,650 refunded.

Review: On 7-13 I contacted Sic metals via email concerning a trailer that I would like to have built. Over the next couple of emails I described what I wanted and eventually received a quote for $2450. The conditions of the quote were that 50% was due to start the trailer. I mailed a personal check on 8/5/13 for $1225. The scheduled completion date was the end of October 2013. At which time I would drive to PA to pay the remaining 50% and pick up the trailer. October came and went. I continued to call both of SIC Metals contact numbers but would never receive a call back. I started to become frustrated and paid an online service to investigate [redacted] and how to reach him. [redacted] is SIC's president. I called all listed phone numbers and finally reached his mother. I calmly explained that I was looking for [redacted] and was concerned that I had not received a call and that I was feeling that I was getting the run around. I let her know that I was prepared to seek legal action. That night I received two calls from [redacted] and he was angry that I called his mother. To be honest I didn't know what to do, SIC's numbers are both cellular phone numbers. After about 20 calls and messages it's clear that someone is avoiding you. At which time he admitted that he had not even started the trailer. He assured me that he would issue a prompt refund via certified mail. That was 12/15/13.Desired Settlement: I would like my payment of $1225 to be refunded

Review: I ordered a trailer, invoice number [redacted] for a cost of $5850.00. I made a deposit of $2925.00 in November 2015. As of today, I still have not received my trailer and the delivery was supposed to be by April 2016. I have emailed them several times asking for the trailer or a refund. They have not responded to my request as of today, May 13, 2016.

All I ask is for the trailer to be made and delivered. I will gladly pay the balance of the bill. If they cannot deliver the trailer as promised, I would like a refund.Desired Settlement: I would like them to contact me and complete the job.
