I was buying some tires and my page reloaded ending in placing an order for wrong tires.called them as soon as I noticed this and they responded with there already shipped ,your order can not be cancelled, yet on my tracking site its said waiting for courier it will be shipped .I worded word for word thier policy and they would not cancel my order.will never buy from them again!

Simple Tire Response • Mar 19, 2019

I'm sorry we were not able to cancel the customer's order as requested. We make every effort to ship orders as quickly as possible, and once our suppliers mark a tire as shipped we are unable to cancel the order. It's unfortunate we were not able to cancel it,and please know that we would have liked to, as we offer free shipping and free returns. We paid to ship these unwanted tires both ways because we couldn't cancel in time. I do see the return is en route, and while we usually require the return to be delivered prior to issuing a refund, we will make an exception in this case and initiate the refund today. Please allow 2-3 business days for the refund to post, depending on the financial institution.

Been dealing and buying tires from simple tire for the past two years have bought many sets of tires have always been excellent shipping is great website is easy to use personnel a very helpful on the phone

Why does it take forever for someone to answer? I had a question and the stupid computer message keeping saying 30 minutes please hold 3 times! It doesn't take 3 minutes to keep saying please hold for 30 minutes 3 times which would be more then 9 minutes and still told me to hold for approximately 30 minutes. They were fast to take my order but to get a hold of them is another story. Reason its a 3/5 business because customer service sucks.

Simple Tires company policy states, orders that have not yet shipped can be cancelled. However, when cancellation and a refund was requested after confirming the orde had not been shipped by the third party warehouse, *** in Lebenon New Hampshire, the Simple Tires representative refused to process a refund, “ in case the 3rd party distributor accidentally ships the product” thus making the consumer liable for the negligence of the company. It was also stated that, “once the order label has been printed the company does not offer a refund” which is not the cancellation policy shared with the consumer via the website.

Simple Tire Response • Mar 08, 2019

This order was placed on Wednesday, March 6th and the cancellation request came in at 11:30AM on Thursday, March 7th. At that point, the order had already been processed and shipping labels had been downloaded by our warehouse. Our cancellation policy states that if a customer would like to cancel an order after it's placed, we will attempt to cancel it before it ships, but that contacting us within an hour of order placement to cancel increases the likelihood that we will be able to do so. There is no guarantee that an order can always be cancelled, as there are times when an order has already shipped but the system has not yet updated to reflect that "shipped" status. We received confirmation that the labels had been cancelled and the order had not shipped, and were able to issue a full refund less than 2 hours after the customer called us to request cancellation. We will review the call with our representative, as there must have been some miscommunication that lead to this customers complaint, considering how quickly we were able to cancel and refund an order after it had already been processed and readied for shipment. I apologize for the inconvenience and assure you we will review the call.

Purchased on 01/29/19 4 *** H/T2 265/70R-17 automobile tires 2016 ***
On 02/09/19, they were installed at ***.
On 02/20/19 at 10:17 AM, the tires were again balanced at the same *** store and the weights were changed from the February 9, 2019 balancing,

I called Simpletire.com to request a refund, which is 100%, guaranteed on your web site and was connected to support staff member Bob. Our conversation was then directed to Barbara, the Supervisor on duty. She called on my behave *** so that they could check the tires for manufacture defect. They checked the tires and found no physical or visual defect in the tires, I am not aware of their testing methods. They rebalance the tires again and found that three of the four tires need different weights then they needed at 10:17 AM and the time was then 4:24 on the same day 02/20/19, the cost of balancing the tires was $46.60.

The tire pressure increased 3-psi from 35 to 38 within less than 5 miles each time the tires were balanced. The outside temperature 28° F, 40° F, 40° F respectively.

I chose to contact *** directly on 02/21/19. I made contact with the Warrantee Administrator (WA) for automotive tire claims in the US for ***. I explained the situation to him and the process I went through with the balancing of the tires and the pressure related events.

Items that were explained to me by the WA are:
1. The WA stated that Simpletire.com is not an authorized retailer of *** brand tires.
2. The WA stated the *** policy is for ride disturbance/vibration complaints is clear – return to the selling retailer (Simple Tire) and have them provide analysis of the tire. He stated that the issue with the tires is more than likely an “out-of-round” tire and it should be returned for a manufacturer’s warrantee defect claim. He stated that this is not common but he has had this same issue in the past and that the tires do qualify for a manufacturer’s warrantee defect

Simple Tire Response • Feb 28, 2019

I'm sorry to hear the customer had issues with the tires he ordered from us. SimpleTire has direct relationships with many different manufacturers, but we don't have a direct relationship with *** at this time. We do have relationships with suppliers who source their tires from ***, and so this is how we are able to offer their tires on our site. Regardless, we handle issues with out of round and/or defective tires in the same way the Warranty Administrator outlined. When we asked the customer to go to a local shop and have the tires inspected, this was to determine if the tires were out of round. We request this inspection at one of our preferred installers so that we can obtain that documentation before we ship tires back to our warehouse and process the manufacturer warranty. The documentation we received from the customer, attached to this complaint, has documentation from *** stating the customer is concerned the tires are out of round but does not state the tires actually are out of round. It simply states the tires were balanced. Upon reading this, we interpreted it as a statement that there was not a defect with the tires. The customer called us on 2/26 to discuss this again. At that point, we issued a full refund for the tires, as well as the additional refund for the cost of re-balancing the tires. We're going to review the phone recordings because I think we could have saved a lot of frustration if we explained the process better so our customer understood why we were requesting the documentation, and what would happen after we received it. I apologize for the inconvenience but believe this is now resolved.

I bought a full set of 4 new tires from simple tire off of *** and 3 arrived a week after order then the forth one arrived a few days later shipped separately from a different wearhouse witch made no sence. I went and had them installed first week of February and the very next day and every day after I have had to stop and add air to 3 of the 4 tires. They are defective garbage! I contacted the seller with simple tire several times about this and there responces were basically they dont care, my loss! Its freezing here everyday and im having to stop snd add air to these NEW tires before I take my husband to chemo! This is ridiculous and im out of 400.00 on tires from simple tire!

Simple Tire Response • Feb 28, 2019

This customer placed an order with us on 1/6/19 through our *** store and contacted us on 1/23/19 to tell us 3 of the 4 tires are losing air. At that time, we asked the customer to go to an installation center to have the tires inspected, free of charge, and that once we receive the report from the installation center that the tires were defective, we would be happy to issue a refund or replacement. We heard nothing back from this customer. We sent a follow up message on 2/5 to see if the customer was able to have their tires inspected and received no response. One month later, on 2/25/19, we receive a message that that the customer was going to write a Revdex.com complaint unless we refund in full. The customer is unwilling to have the tires inspected, which is necessary to ensure the reason for the loss of air is actually the tires, and not the valve stems or something else. We have contacted *** regarding this customer's threats and have agreed to refund the customer $160 as a gesture of good will in light of her situation, which has already been completed in our system. I think this is more than reasonable without additional proof that the tires are the reason for air loss. We will not be issuing an additional refund and request that the customer directs any additional questions or concerns to ***.

These are untrue statements. I purchased and payed for the tires on the 16th it took a week to recieve and and I messaged several times about the slow and inaccurate delivery date they provided and there response was a apology and told me the slow delivery was due to tires being out of stock. Then when they arrived I only recieved 3 tores out of the 4 and messed them, there response was sometimes that happens 1 tires getting separated in shipping. I checked tracking numbers on all 4 tires and truth was my missing tire was being shipped from a total nother state and warehouse with meens its not even a true set of matching tires. Who goes to a store to buy 1 shoe and another store to buy the other? I contacted them within a few days of actually receiving the final last tire and having it installed. Yes they finally responded as I stated in my first message and told me to take it to THERE DEALERS ONLY to have them looked at. I sent them pictures of my car showing the low tire pressure. When I had them looked at when I got my oil changed they stated they didn't even want to comment on the tires. I messaged them several times about this and they cared less! Yes they finally decided to give me half my money back and I accepted it as I knew if I didn't I wouldn't get a dime back! I wish I had read all there reviews all over everywhere and I would have never even considered buying tires from these crooks. Money is not a issue for me but quality and good business is! I put these junk tires on my 2017 ***, what a down grade. Never again.

I think there has been some confusion, and I'd like to clarify so that we can try to get to a resolution. This order was placed on Sunday, January 6, 2019. The tires were going to be shipped from one of our warehouses on 1/7 but they were out of stock at that location, so we shipped the full order from one warehouse on January 8th, 2019. Here is the tracking information for all four tires, showing all four shipped from one location on the same date: https://www.***.com/apps/***

*** . Three of the tires were delivered on January 9th. The fourth tire was separated in transit and delivered on January 11th. The customer contacted us on 1/23 to tell us 3 of the tires were losing air. We do request that our customers go to a preferred installation center to have any inspections done, the same way any store would request that a customer take a defective item back to their store to have the item inspected before issuing a refund. If the issue is that the customer does not want to go to a preferred installation center to have the tires inspected, we are willing to make an exception. This customer may go to any licensed tire center to have the tires inspected so that she can send us a written statement that the tires are defective. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept photos of car dashboard lights as verification, as we've stated previously, because low pressure can be due to faulty valve stems, among other things. We have refunded half the order amount as a courtesy but are unable to do more without verification.

I mistakenly ordered the wrong size tires late one night. I called early the next morning and fortunately was greeted by Kristin Nyce. She not only helped clarify the problem, but was also able to fix it. She was pleasant to speak with and I felt immediately a sense of relief. Wonderful customer service!

Simple Tire Response • Feb 22, 2019

Thank you very much for taking the time to write this review! I've passed this information over to Kristin's manager. We're proud to have her on our team, and we're happy she could help turn the experience around for you. If we can be of service in the future, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

I ordered tires from Simple Tire to be delivered directly to a local shop for installation. After an email confirming delivery I scheduled installation. When I arrived at the location I was told that the tires were not delivered. Although Simple Tire's website advertised customer service hours from 9am-2pm on Saturday, upon contacting them we were told only Sales was available. Also the "live chat" advertised on the website is actually just an email form. I was unable to reach anyone until Monday.

After further investigation it was learned that *** delivered the tires after hours with no signature and the items were missing. Simple Tire agreed to ship replacements. First they provided a new *** tracking and then canceled that shipment. They then sent a new shipment with only two of the four tires ordered.

As of now only two of my four tires have been received.

Simple Tire Response • Feb 19, 2019

I'm very sorry to hear you had this experience with your order. We regret that our shipping partner did not deliver your order properly and understand this caused a great inconvenience. Our chat does go to email when an agent is not available, but I can understand your frustration with not getting the help you needed over the weekend. I do see that the replacement tires were shipped, and though they were separated in transit all four have been delivered. We also applied a 10% refund to your account last week, due to the inconvenience this has caused.

Ordered 4 of the same tires from simpletire.com after an extensive delay in delivery I finally received the tires to find they had shipped the wrong tires. I rejected the shipment and then called their 800 number. Talked with a rep who said he couldn't do anything because it still showed as being out for delivery and not rejected. He was suppose to call me when it showed rejected. I then had to call them to tell them the status had updated. He was suppose to get the correct tires shipped out immediately. He said I would get notified when they shipped. The next day I still had not been notified they had shipped so I called them yet again. They said they would be shipping out soon and they were coming from the same warehouse that had shipped the incorrect ones in the first place. I told them I was done dealing with them and wanted the order canceled and an immediate refund. Still waiting on refund. This is not how you do business and expect to stay in business. I mainly want to let people know to not use this company and to go else where that has a better reputation.

Simple Tire Response • Feb 19, 2019

I truly apologize for the fact that this customer was shipped incorrect tires. The mixup was unintentional and when we learned of the issue, we did what we could to rectify the situation. The customer rejected the *** shipment of incorrect tires on 2/13/19 at 2:15 PM and called to tell us. At that point, *** tracking had not indicated the tires were coming back, and so we had no way to see that the tires were being returned. With high value orders like tires, it is imperative for us to see return movement on an order before we issue a replacement or refund. *** tracking updated on 2/13/19 at 3:11PM and the replacement order was created and transmitted to our warehouse by 3:30PM that day. At that point, our *** pickup had already taken place - there would be no pickup until the following day. The customer called us at 10AM the following morning to check if the replacement had shipped. This was not an attempt to be slow with shipping, our *** pickup just hadn't happened yet. When the customer learned the replacement had not shipped, they asked for us to cancel the replacement and issue a refund. Refunds can usually take up to 24 hours to be processed in our refund queue but we expedited this process and initiated the refund as soon as we were able to verify the replacement could be cancelled, within 2 hours of the customer's call. The refund has been processed in full and we are truly sorry for the negative experience.
We believe in excellent service but we also recognize that sometimes mistakes happen, and it's how we react to these issues that set our service apart from the rest. We believe we reacted to the best of our ability and hope we have the opportunity to help this customer again in the future. We are reviewing this feedback with our warehouse and operations teams so that we can learn from this and improve for the future.

Ordered tires, 3 out of 4 were blems. Immediately asked to return, they sent Fedex labels 2 days later via email. Got the tires on Sat. MLK weekend, they were back to Fedex next Weds, and back to them that Friday, only had the tires 3 days. They were returned in the same condition I got them, with all the original labels still attached. No way was gonna mount these tires on my nice vehicle. After a week with no refund on my CC, contacted them and a day later they send an email that SINCE MY TIRES WERE MOUNTED I GET NO REFUND. Wow. Blatant LIE? Or is there some big mixup? Nice loophole in their supposed easy return policy. Didnt expect needed to have videotaped the tires and myself carrying them into Fedex to prove the tires condition. I do have witnesses they were exactly the same going back as I received them. They coyly offered to send these blem tires back, trying to force the sale. Nice, just claim they were used and unless you took pics or video its their word against yours and they have the tires AND the money. Buyer beware, if you use their refund policy break out the camera and document it. Simpletire.com, if you want to push this, we can go full legal, and full social media. You got your blem tires back the same as I received them and you know it. Perhaps you will discover a warehouse inventory error, and this will be the end of it? Balls in your court.

Simple Tire Response • Feb 08, 2019

Hi Lew, I took a look and your refund was processed yesterday. It's true that we don't accept mounted tires back, but it looks like there was a mixup at our return center - your order was absolutely eligible for a full refund. I apologize for the frustration and the inconvenience this has caused. I can definitely understand your anger and am hopeful you consider this resolved to your satisfaction. If we can do anything else to help, please don't hesitate to contact us.

I ordered a set of tires ( 225 60 16) thru *** from this company. The tires I received were the wrong size (225 60 17) and did not fit my car. I contacted *** and *** and received my original purchase price refund thru ***. The issue that I am having is that I had been instructed by *** to return the tires to the Trevose PA address. When I had the tires sent thru ***, they were then forwarded to a Fulton KY address. This caused another additional charge to me thru *** when I used the address provided to me! I am sure if I would have had that Fulton KY address, I could have shipped the tires there for a lot less since I am in KY. In total, *** charged me $131.50 to ship tires back to the company. I have my receipts to prove all of this and so does Simple Tire. Keep in mind, these tires were NOT the size I ordered and I paid for the shipping. I am writing to get help with a refund of the shipping. Had it been my fault of ordering the wrong size, I would not be trying to get my money back. I have called several times and have emails to the company. I also have receipts that I sent them. I have been talking to someone named "Taz". I have not received any reply, nor explanation of why this is going on so long. The original purchase was made in Sept. 2018. It is going on too long and I need help with resolving this situation.

Simple Tire Response • Feb 04, 2019

I'm sorry to hear you received the wrong tires from us. This case has been difficult because we usually offer prepaid return labels for all returns, which would have automatically sent the return to the KY address. There isn't a way for *** to know this, and it's unfortunate they advised this vs. contacting us to arrange for the return as we usually do. Since the refund was already completed, there was no way for us to easily return additional funds. Taz had been working to find a way to make this happen and was able to have the charges billed to us by ***, so we are paying the return charges. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help you.

These people are crooks. Ordered 4 *** tires from them january 12th. They took my money (Payment with credit card through ***) but never shipped tires. No tracking information provided either. When I called, they tried to lie, telling me they couldn't find my order or my phone number or my name. Then it was, "Oh we sent you an email on january 15th telling you the tires were out of order". LIARS! Not only they never sent an email, they never bothered to reply to the 2 emails I sent them. If the items were out of order why were they listed to begin with? If you came to that realization 3 days later why not call me and tell me? what's the point of asking for my phone number? And best of all, they don't want to refund my money! Is this how business is supposed to be conducted?

Simple Tire Response • Jan 22, 2019

I truly apologize that we were not able to ship your order. I took a look into this and do see that we sent an email to let you know we did not have inventory of this product, and that we were not able to get it from any of our suppliers. When we did not receive a response, we issued a full refund. If you have not received your refund by now, please contact your financial institution for more information as to when they will post that refund back to your account. I apologize again for the inconvenience this has caused.

Simple Tire Response • Jan 10, 2019

I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. While our pricing may fluctuate depending on the cost we pay for the tires we sell, we make every effort to display accurate product and pricing information in our ads. I do not see any indication that our pricing would have been inaccurate during the time period mentioned, and our current pricing on our website is in line with what I see on *** shopping. All orders placed through SimpleTire.com are covered under the *** Shopping Low Price Guarantee, which states that if you place an order through SimpleTire.com and the price of that product decreases on SimpleTire.com within 30 days, you are eligible to receive a refund of the difference. Unfortunately, this situation is not covered under that guarantee.

Regardless, it is our desire to make our customers happy, and so we have issued a refund in the amount of $32 as a courtesy. Please contact us directly if you have any other questions or concerns about your order.

Regarding Order #*** (TRAILER TIRES: *** Sport Trail *** - QUANITY 2, placed on 12/17/18. I purchased a set of two tires from my camper in the amount of $129.58 from SIMPLETIRE. When I received the tires, they were damaged and permanently disfigured prior or during shipment. The top tread portion of the tire was caved in the middle. The side wall area where it comes in contact with the rim was also caved in. I can provide pictures to illustrate these disfigured, damaged tires. They are obviously not the quality of tires advertised on SIMPLETIRE's website. As a second measure, I brought the tires to *** and asked them if they could work with mounting these tires before bringing my camper for installation. The *** Tire Technician examined the tires and attempted to pull the side wall out. The *** Technician said these tires were old, 2015, and they were too stiff to mount. He indicated the age of the tire is related to the stiffness and recommended I obtain a refund, especially considering the age of the tire. SIMPLETIRE advertises a full money-back, free no-hassle return policy. They also advertise new tires are sold. These tires are nearly four years old and not new quality condition. They also advertise free return shipping, no questions asked, as long as the tires were not mounted. These tires were not mounted, only examined by a *** Tire Technician. Please refer to https://simpletire.com/risk-free-guarantee. I would like SIMPLETIRE to honor their guarantee and provide me with shipping labels and a full refund for the 2015, defective tires I received. Simple Tire Response • Jan 02, 2019

We are happy to accept any returns of any unmounted tires within 30 days of purchase. We ask for verification that a tire is defective when a customer states tires are defective, simply as a precaution and so that we can understand how to process the return. Regardless, the customer spoke with our representative about these tires on 12/27/18, and we issued return labels via email on 12/28/18. Please let us know if you need us to resend the labels. The refund for these tires will be applied once we receive them back in our warehouse. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

We have received your return and your refund was processed today. You should see the refund back to your original method of payment within the next few days, depending on how quickly your financial institution processes refunds once they've been initiated by a merchant.

We purchased tires for our vehicle through Simple tires website. We were very happy with the tires until on Thanksgiving day we were on our way home and had a blow out in the new tire we had just bought. I contact simple tire multiple times for them to take it in for an inspection for a warranty claim. They told me they would be in touch to get me a shipping label to send in the tire. Days went by and never heard anything. Contacted customer service 4 more times and was hung up on as soon as I got to a representative. I waited a few more days and finally got a representative to answer. He was very rude and told us to go a shop that would do an inspection for us and to call ahead of time and let them know that we were coming. We get to the tire shop to have it inspected and the guy tells us that simple tire will not take it as a manufacturer defect because simple tire would think it had been cut... The day this blow out happened we were traveling down I-*** close to Memphis and had to contact Arkansas State Police to find a tow truck and to come monitor us on the side of the rode because we almost lost our lives due to this blow out and the company couldnt care less about the fact were out of a tire and nearly lost our lives when the tire blew because we almost crashed into a semi. Something needs to be done about this company it doesnt care about it customers. I will never purchase from them again.

Great customer service the lowest price I have found Mr. Courtney Wallace He was a great help

I went through Simple Tire to purchase new tires for my vehicle. When I purchased the tires they delivered them within a week from ordering. When I received the tires I went to my local *** to have them put on. *** noticed the tires were manufactured in 2007,2008,2009, and 2010. Simple Tire was notified immediately on Friday 12/7/18 and I spoke with "Ceasar F" a customer Support worker who apologized over and over explaining those tires should have never left the Warehouse and been shipped out. He said since *** had touched them they would only refund half the money but would take the tires back I said no I needed to have a supervisor call me back because they needed to take them all back because they should have never sent out 8 year to 11 year old tires when the maximum age of a tire should be no more than 6 years old. Today 12/11/18 still no phone call back from a supervisor I called customer service from "Bob" who was is customer support and he told me they would take 3 tires back and only refund 3 tires because they can send out old tires they guarantee they work. I asked Bob's last name and he refused said they do not give out last names. When asked to talk to the supervisor he said she just stepped into a meeting. I asked him for the Supervisor name and he said her name was Barb and she would call me back.

We are addressing this with our warehouse, as well as with our Customer Support Manager. We would be happy to replace these tires for you at no additional cost to you, or we can offer you a full refund - whichever you'd prefer. Please let us know.

This is an excellent company to deal with. Service and prices are great and it is especially convenient to have the tires shipped direct to the installer of your choice. I will be recommending them to anyone I know who needs tires.

Nice customer sevice and product

Hi Peter, thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback! We appreciate your kind words. If there's anything we can do to help you in the future, please don't hesitate to call on us.

The Corporation is in the business of selling tires for automotive or small truck use. I purchased 4 tires that were OLD stock, past the date of safe use from the NHTSA of 6 years. These tires were 6 years 40 weeks old at time of Sale, exceeding the legal limit of use and safety.

Simple Tire Response • Nov 26, 2018

I'm so sorry to hear you received these tires from us. It's against our policy to ship tires that are beyond 4 years from their date of manufacture. We will be addressing this with our warehouse, as these tires should have been caught prior to shipping. We have come to a resolution, offering a significant discount on the tires, as well as a deal on another set as discussed. I apologize again for the inconvenience but if there is anything else we can do to help, please do not hesitate to contact us.
