Simple Tire Reviews (%countItem)

I bought tires from simple tire as found on ***.. they advertised new *** 235 40 q8 tires for sake

I scedusled a n appointment st *** and they immediately Informed me that the tires l purchased were not new as they described on their ad but were manufactured in a particular week of year 2012, as we are well in the last month of 2018, that translates to these tires being over 6 full years ago . As I wanted new tires this was a shock and this business could have simply stated they may overrepresent items as new when they were not

This is exotermely important for several reasons . One is that all major car manufacturers have warned against the hazards of driving old tires. They specifically reference 6 years an a time that the tires even if new on the outside have suffered material changes in the rubber composite that causes major or catastrophic road side hazards. failures potentially leading to death . This subject messier has been introduced by multiple safety boards and as mentioned many dealers ensure clients are aware if the risks of having oldmtires installed .
When trying to purchase these items from them, I tried to reach them over the ohmen phone but was unsuccessful despite calling in their business hours. I left s voice mail at that time and it was vpnever returned. I also have not had emails requesting a return and refund sent back to me . Their site speaks to customer service is a priority but I have experienced the exact opposite
Misleading facts , or omissions, on tires for sale that aren’t disclosed and your not able to reach any9me to the obrptain defintive answers . But furthermore, if you list an item as new people will expect exactly that. Not an item made a,most 7 years ago. That’s deception through advertising .

I simply want a refund for these 2:tires and do not want to pay for return shipping based on the circumstances I described. As mentioned they are in absolutely same condition I received them in, same packaging , never mounted etc

Simple Tire Response • Nov 09, 2018

I am truly sorry to hear you received tires of this age from us - it is against our policy to ship tires that have been manufactured that long ago, and I can understand your frustration and anger that this is what you received. I assure you this was not intentional, but an oversight in our warehouse. Regardless, we will absolutely do what we can to make this right. A member of our team will be reaching out to you directly to arrange for a full refund. My apologies again for the negative experience.

On Nov 1 2018 my checking account was charged twice. I called the company about it and was told I had wait 3 days to get my money released. Because of the hold I was charged late fees for my other bills

Simple Tire Response • Nov 07, 2018

I'm so sorry to hear you had this issue. I just double checked in our system and I only see one charge associated with your order. Unfortunately, there isn't anything additional we can reverse at this time. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. I recommend contacting your financial institution to dispute any charges you may see that are different from what you see on your SimpleTire receipt. This way, they can make the necessary adjustments for you. I'm so sorry there isn't more we can do on our end - we only show the one charge for your order.

I purchased a set of 4 tires for my truck from this company and had them shipped to my residence. I took the truck to *** in Nampa, Idaho, purchased a brand new set of rims and had them install the tires that I purchased from Simple Tire. When I left the tire shop, there was a significant shake in my truck. I took it to a different Les Schwab store (that was closer to my home), and had them attempt to rebalance the tires. They told me that three of them were out from side to side and one was out of round. They said they could likely balance the other three, but to get a replacement for the one that was out of round. Simple tire told me it would take 5-7 business days to get me another tire. I told them to refund the money on the one tire that I had already bought on and it was being delivered the next day. I took the truck back to the 1st Les Schwab and had them install the new tire and attempt to rebalance the other three. When I left the shop, the truck still had a shake. I took the truck back to them yet again and just told them to remove all of the tires and I bought a set from them to install (which cost me $300 more than the ones from Simple Tire). The truck now rides PERFECT with the *** on it. I contacted Simple Tire and they said that I should have notified them when the first tire was determined to be bad and that it is not possible to have all four tires to be bad. They refused to refund my money and referred me to the manufacturer to have them test the tires, get a written report from them and then send it to Simple Tire. I told them I already had 8-10 hours in dealing with these sub-par tires and would ship them back to them if they would send me a shipping label, they refused. I have this same brand tire on two of my other vehicles and am very disappointed in the LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE that Simple Tire has provided. I have filed a claim with my bank for a refund but want you to know the kind of service this company provides its customers with.

Simple Tire Response • Oct 09, 2018

I’m sorry to hear that you had so many problems with your order, and can understand your frustration. When a customer reports one tire out of round or defective, we are able to issue a refund or replacement without a problem. We start to ask for verification from a manufacturer or one or our preferred installation centers when more than 1 tire is reported with issues. It is possible, though highly unlikely, that all four tires would be defective, but the manufacturer would be able to tell this. This is why we asked for verification from them - if they deemed the tires were defective, we would absolutely issue a full refund. The installation center you worked with is actually a competitor of ours, and we believe it’s more likely they claimed these tires were defective so that they could sell you the tires instead. Once a tire is mounted and driven on, we aren’t able to accept them as a return. Regardless, we do want to help you. If you are not able to work directly with the manufacturer on this, we would be fine with having an installation center from our list of preferred installation centers examine the tires. If they deem the tires defective, we will be happy to issue prepaid return labels and refund your money in full. I’m truly sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you.

Simple Tire Response • Oct 15, 2018

We've discussed this internally and have decided to offer a refund for the remaining tires. We will not be returning the tires to our warehouse, as we are not able to accept tires once they've been mounted on a vehicle. I do want to assure you that we do not sell any type of factory rejects - this is why we have struggled with the idea that four tires from one order would be defective. Regardless, we do want you to be happy and we can tell this situation has been a hassle for you. I apologize again for the inconvenience and frustration this has caused you.

I had a very good experience with SimpleTire, they had the best prices on the tires I was looking for and once I ordered them there delivery time was spot on. Great value and great service that’s what it’s all about.
Thanks

Hi Michael, thanks for taking the time to share your experience! We're so glad Mike was able to help you - we're happy to have him on the team. If we can be of any assistance in the future, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us!

Bought tires from SimpleTire for my mom. Had them delivered to a shop listed on their site. Got there in 2 days and my mom was back on the road safe and sound. I recommend SimpleTire to everyone.

Simple Tire Response • Nov 27, 2018

Hi Mike, thank you for your great feedback! I hope your mom's tires are working out well. If we can be of any help in the future, for any member of your family, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us. We appreciate your business!

Bob was very helpful Was on point for all the answers I had a question for And to say the least I save money I'll be back to buy more tires in the future.

I ordered & paid for 4, 195 75 14 *** tires that they advertised on the internet. A few days later they emailed me & said that they were canceling my order due to an internal pricing problem & gave me a code to use on another order. They stated in the email that the problem had been corrected in their system. The next day I ordered 4 more tires & used the discount code that they sent me. A few days later I receive another email saying that they had canceled my new order & they gave me another discount code. I couldn't get hold of them by phone (stated that wait time was 39 minutes) so I used their live chat. After 45 minutes with Bob on their live chat he stated that someone would call me soon to try to find a solution. Waited 2 days & no call. Called them this morning & they offered me a much higher priced no name tire at 10% off. I declined that offer. The original tires that I ordered are still on their website this morning at the price that I originally ordered them for. I told the man on the phone that I didn't need a name brand tire but I would like the same size tire that I ordered at the delivered price that I ordered them for. That shipped price is only a couple of dollars lower than other prices that I see from other reputable internet sellers. I feel that they are using a bait & switch on their internet advertising. I understand that mistakes happen but they have emailed me twice saying that it has been corrected & the ad is still on the internet. I have documentation on the internet ads, chat conversation & emails if needed.

I'm sorry for the negative experience you've had with us and for the fact that we were not able to fill your orders. We'd like to send you any 4 tires of that size, at the price you had paid on your order. A member of our team will be reaching out to you shortly to discuss this further.

Placed an order for 4 tires 8/20/2018 order number is ***. Only received 2 tires within 2 days but had a guaranteed delivery date on 8/26/2018. Kept tracking my order to make sure it’s in transit to make my delivery date only to find that only a label has been made and never changed. I called 8/24/2018 to just cancel the remaining order since it still wasn’t shipped. And I would have to pay out of my own pocket to get matching tires locally to make my event that these tires were for. They emailed me a refund confirmation saying it was out of stock and a refund will be issued and would receive it in a 2-3 days. 8/27/2018 instead of a refund I get a email saying my order has shipped again and I call them to tell them I don’t need it anymore cause they didn’t meet the original delivery date that I needed. They then tell me I would have to wait for the tire delivery then ship it back to then and once they received the tire they will start my refund process. This is unethical and they shouldn’t have never ship the items that has been cancelled. It’s been a nightmare to deal with their customer service it’ll be a 20 mins+ hold every time to get on a phone with them and they give you the round around every call. It’s been almost 2 weeks with my original refund as promised per my email I got and I still haven’t received it.

Simple Tire Response • Sep 04, 2018

I apologize for the negative experience you've had with this order and can understand your frustration. We were successfully able to intercept that second part of your order in transit and re-route it back to our warehouse through our shipping partner, and your refund was completed in our system. It can take a few days for refunds to post back to a payment method after we initiate it on our end, but this would depend on how quickly your financial institution is able to process refunds once they are confirmed. I am in the process of reviewing your order and what happened with our process now with our customer support and operations manager. We will be addressing this with our team internally in order to prevent this from happening in the future. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you but if we can be of any assistance, now or in the future, please do not hesitate to contact us again.

I purchased four tires online at Simpletire.com due to their free shipping guarantee. After billing confirmation and having the funds removed from my pay pal account. I realized that I had been charged for shipping. The shipping charges were within a few dollars of the cost of the four tires! When I contacted them they cancelled the order instead of correcting their mistake and delivering the product I ordered at the advertised and agreed upon price, with the free shipping that they claim to guarantee on their website.

Simple Tire Response • Sep 04, 2018

I would really like to be able to ship you the tires you ordered, but unfortunately your order was cancelled on the morning of the 29th because we have no inventory of the tire you ordered. This is not typical but it seems that our inventory count was incorrect, which we did not realize until our warehouse went to process your order. I can understand your frustration and apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. I want to assure you it has nothing to do with shipping costs - if we had these tires on hand, I would ship them to you free of charge, as our website states. Unfortunately, that just isn't possible. We have issued you a refund back to your original method of payment and our offer still stands that we would give you a 10% discount for a future purchase, plus the free shipping you are eligible for on our site.

Complaint: ***

The problem is that the price is increased so they will not honor the advertised price.

I'm sorry, I just looked again and checked again with our inventory management team. We do not have the *** in stock in that size, and we are not able to get it from any of our suppliers. I truly apologize - there just isn't a way for me to send you this tire in this size. If there is anything else we can do to help, please let me know.

On July 9 I t*** my car into a local repair shop to have the tires rotated on schedule and was informed that the tires were at the wear bars and l***ed like they were over wearing. I contacted SimpleTire to inquire about this issue on July 20. I was asked to take it to the local preferred installer ***(***) and have them evaluate the car and tires. *** said there was noting wrong with the mechanics of the vehicle, and they l***ed like they wore abnormally soon. These tires had been on the vehicle 8 months.

After working with *** I immediately reached out to Simpletire on July 20 and informed them of what I was told. They referred me to *** customer service. Upon 12 attempts to reach an *** agent with no success that day, I called SimpleTire and explained the problems I was having with ***. I spoke with Cesar F, and he assured me he would reach out to *** and try to find a resolution. He even sent me his email address so we could correspond. On July 29 after not receiving any correspondence from him, I emailed inquiring about my case, I received no response. On August 2, I called Simple Tire again and explained the entire situation to another customer service representative, Michael C. I implored him to contact *** and ask them about what they found to verify that the tires had issues. He did, but upon returning, he deflected and blamed me for the problem saying the tires should not have been on the car into the summer. Technically of the 8 months, six months are cold weather months because of my location. Only 2 of the months could be considered warm. I tried to explain this but he just continued to say *** said that's why the tires wore. I reached out to ***, they never said any such thing and they felt lkie Michael was trying to get them to say I was at fault. Michael sent a pdf for *** tire (not the brand) and said a manager would call me. As on August 24, again no from SimpleTire has contacte.

Simple Tire Response • Aug 28, 2018

I'm sorry to learn that our customer has had trouble with the tires they purchased from us. The tires on this order are winter tires, intended for use during temperatures below 45 degrees. I do understand that temperatures in the customer's location can be lower than other parts of the country, but the average temperature in that area has been above 45 degrees since April of this year. Winter tires are made of softer rubber, which is perfect for icy, snowy roads. If the tire is regularly used on a vehicle during temperatures above 45 degrees, the tires are more likely to show premature wear. We aren't able to offer a full refund for the tires at this time but we would be more than happy to give the customer a great deal on a new set of tires to help offset the cost to replace the tires that are worn. We are also looking into why he has not received a follow up call from us, as we do want to ensure our customers receive prompt follow up on requests. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused but I'm hopeful this solution will work for our customer.

Placed order for new set of tires from Simpletire.com on 08/15/2018. Cancellation request was sent via email to Simpletire email address not even 24 hours later, due to the website loading the wrong size based on my car.

Received email response only after following up by calling on 08/16/2018 about cancellation and refund for $149.96, in the email I was assured that my refund would appear back into my account within 24-48 hours.

Waited for 4 days, called on 08/20/18, they never processed the refund until I called this time. I was then given another timeframe of 2-3 days to receive the refund back to my account.

On 08/23/18, my account still doesn't reflect any refund for the amount owed of $149.96. I call once again and now they say that it will take 5-7 days to receive the refund.

Very unprofessional.

Simple Tire Response • Aug 28, 2018

The refund for this cancelled order was authorized and confirmed on August 20th, 2018. After we process a refund in our system, it can take a few days for financial institutions to post funds back to the account, but unfortunately this is out of our control. We do have an authorization number to confirm that the refund transaction was processed successfully. If the funds are still not showing, this will need to be addressed with the card company. We're apologize for the inconvenience and are happy to cooperate in any way we can.

I bought a set of 4 tires, Terra Grappler G2, from SimpleTire.com a month ago. They cost $1,720. I had them installed by Keffer Dodge a week after I bought them. While the tires rode nice, I noticed that they pick up 3/4-1” gravel and the tread does not eject the gravel until you’re doing 35-70mph. This destroyed the rocker panels of my truck, and rocks are ejected against the truck as high as the door window.
I immediately reported this apparent defect to SimplyTire.com and asked them to remedy the situation, possibly exchange the tires for a different brand. They responded quickly, within 48-hours. They stated that since I installed the tires they could not be returned or exchanged. They only offered me a 5% discount if I purchased another set of tires. Extremely callous.
I tried to warn other people about this apparent defect in the tire tread by putting a review onto the SimpleTire.com website. I wrote out a very detailed review and submitted it online. That was 2 weeks ago. The review was purposefully blocked by SimpleTire.com because it wasn’t a favorable review. I bought these tires based a a 4.5 out of 5 rating on their website. Turns out they manipulate the rating system and block unfavorable reviews on their website to mislead the consumer into thinking these expensive tires are loved by all.
All I asked them to do is exchange the tires for another brand. I told them I’d eat the shipping and installation too. When I asked this I also informed them that the tires only had 20 miles on them. They refused to do anything but “possibly” give me a 5% discount on yet another set of tires.
I advise people to not buy tires from SimpleTire.com. They manipulate the reviews and customer satisfaction ratings by blocking negative reviews. This is misleading. They also aren’t clear about their supposed “policy” about no refunds or exchanges if the tires are installed. There’s no way to know if a tire works if SimpleTire.com blocks reviews and won’t exchange if installed. Very dissatisfied by their dishonesty and now I’m stuck with $1,720 defective tires that I cannot use, tires that have already chipped the paint all over the side of my 2014 Dodge Ram 2500 truck.

Simple Tire Response • Aug 28, 2018

Hi Shaun, I'm sorry to hear you had a negative experience with us. I can understand your frustration and I would like to help, if I can. I understand you no longer have use for the tires you purchased and I'm sorry to hear they didn't work out. While we aren't able to accept returns after a tire has been mounted, it is not our intention to seem callous or unhelpful and I regret that this was your impression of us. I'm going to review the communication you had with our agents so that we can address this internally. With regards to the product review you had written, it can take some time for us to post product reviews after they're submitted, so it's possible the review you wrote will be posted soon. The only reason we would reject a product review is if it contains profanity, is spammy, or does not reference the product itself. If you would like to discuss your experience in more depth, I'd appreciate the opportunity to help you. I can be reached at [email protected].

I ordered a set of 4 *** mud tires that were 33x12.5R15 tires for $151.68. They were advertised for 37 dollars and 92 cents each. I placed my order on August fifth thinking awesome I'm getting new tires, and I even received an order confirmation email. Then I get an email August sixth from the company saying I am not getting my tires and that I get my money back and a discount on a set of tires I purchase.

Ordered 4 tires on June 20th expected delivery date June 23rd. Today is June 26th, called simple tire they said fedex never picked them up. re submitted order. that was at 8:30 am. said I should get email confirming. waited until 10:30. Called again, gave same bull story about the order, and they tried to re submit order for 3rd time. ended up cancelling order, they said they could not cancel order, told them if they didnt we would stop payment on credit card, finally cancelled. WORSE expereince EVER!

I found tires I needed for my truck advertised on the Simple Tire LLC website for $29.99\tire. (*** All-terrains LT185/75-16) I placed an order for a set of four tires for the amount of $119.96. The sale went through. I got an electronic invoice from Simple Tire and ***. The next morning the same tires were advertised for around $185.00/tire. A few days later I got an email from Simple tire saying the were canceling my order and refunding my money due to a stocking part number error and they would have sent me the wrong tires. I checked the part# on my invoice and it was identical to the part# listed on their site for the exact tire. So they lied about why they weren't going to honor the sale and refunded my money without asking me. I emailed them back and pointed this out and said I wanted my tires. I got an auto response saying my inquiry would be addressed within one business day.. a few days later I had NO response. I emailed again, NO response. I called a couple days later and left a message, NO response. So I filed a complaint with WI Dept. of Trade and Consumer Protection who sent a letter to Simple Tire warning them of their violation of WI State Statute. Simple Tire responded to the Letter with an email claiming this was the first they had heard of my complaint and saying I had tried to buy tires from them for way below the price they were asking so they canceled the sale. I bought tires from them at the price they ADVERTISED and it was all over the internet! I paid the price they asked! Then they just ignored me. My next step will be to file suit.

I purchased brand new set of 4 *** all season tires with specs 235/55/R20 from Simple.Tires on May 17, 2018. They delivered me four dangerously 6 years+ old tires with below manufacture dates:

Tire 1. serial number ending *** - (week 33 of 2012: Aug 2012)
Tire 2. serial number ending in *** - (week 30 of 2012: Jul 2012)
Tire 3. serial number ending in *** - (week 15 of 2012: Apr 2012)
Tire 4. serial number ending in *** - (week 15 of 2012: Apr 2012)

I called Simpletire.com and the agent admitted that the oldest tire they usually would sell is 4 years old. He also agreed that tires that are 5 years or older is a safety concern. The customer service sent me a return shipping. There was no sincere apologies, no offer to rectify the problem other than a shrug as if to say, too bad, you found out. We will take the tires back. The tires were delivered placed in a storage pallet, no doubt where they were sitting for 6 years in some dinghy storage. The tires were in bad shape, very dirty and shows some signs of rubber degradation. I would have mounted these tires on the family SUV that we usually use for long drives and used on our regular visit to our son in college. A drive of about 200 miles round trip.

Simple Tire is placing my life and my family in the line all in the name of profit.

Simple Tire Response • Jun 07, 2018

We have issued a full refund and assure you that these tires will not be resold, as this is against our policy to do so. We apologize again for the inconvenience this has caused, and that our team member was not more apologetic when this issue was reported. Our Customer Support and Operations Manager has also sent a written apology.

I ordered a set of two tires from *** off of *** These tires are to get my car on the road for my daughter's wedding June 9th. We have rented a campground and need the station wagon to haul wedding supplies to the campground and the car has to go through a safety inspection to get a sticker on it. The tires were ordered on May 23rd and were scanned delivered on May 26. The tracking claims a tire was delivered to the front. The one tire I found was behind the Church (I live in a Church) on a pile of garbage, a couch, a bunch of wood, and other assorted trash that is put out for large trash pick-up this week. This is by a back basement door that is very rarely used and hidden from sight by parked junk and unregistered cars. My son saw the one tire coming home Saturday after dark, assumed I had added a tire to the trash pile and didn't think anything of it until I asked him about seeing a tire or tires in the back. My Daughter spotted it Sunday day, saw the paperwork taped to it and told me it was there. I have had problems with *** already once this yeat and have been very clear with *** that deliveries need to be made between The Church and Rectory buildings where the back porch and stairs are. I own both buildings and have also requested they put the deliveries inside the porch door. A supervisor of *** on a recorded line told me that *** only shipped one tire. *** is telling me to fill out a police report. I can't fill out a police report for a tire that *** is telling me was not shipped. I don't have time to play games with this as we have family coming in from all over the country for this wedding. I need *** to replace this missing tire asap. For their claim they need to prove to *** that they shipped two tires, but that is not my problem. I hope Revdex.com can help with a speedy resolve of this claim. Please act fast.

I have filed a request for help with an order from ***. I filed for fast action as I need the tire for my car for my daughter's wedding on June 9th. *** got right on this and the tire came today, it seems the missing tire was still on the *** truck and only one tire was delivered. *** brought the 2nd tire today. I am looking to close the case but don't see a way to do so. Can you help? Thank you

Recently purchased tires from simpletire.com only driven 60 miles on them and one of the tires has developed a large softball sized lump in the sidewall. The customer service department told me that I hit something and caused the lump in the tire so they wouldn't have to honor a customer nor the products they sell...terrible products and very unprofessional service highly recommend not wasting your time or money.

I ordered tractor tires for my husbands tractor. He told me the exact tires to order. I logged on to the computer. The opening screen says "Every Tire" "Free Shipping" "Fast Delivery". (Each of these statements with a check mark in front of them.....) I ordered, entered payment information and hit submit. Within an hour, I tried to cancel the order. They were apparently gone for the day but I left a "call back" instead of holding. I also messaged them via their website but no reply. The next day I went on the website for a live chat. At that time they said that I could not cancel the order and I had to pay the shipping. I though there was a window of time that you can cancel ANY order/agreement. Anyway. The tires cost almost $300 and the Shipping was $200. Seems a bit steep and I said your website says "free shipping". Apparently when you click that "free shipping" on the site it says that SOME tires have free shipping. After further investigation, 2 of the 4 tires that I ordered WERE to have free shipping. I feel that I should be refunded the shipping fee for 2 reasons: 1. The website is very misleading if not false. 2. $100 shipping per tire is INSANE.

Simple Tire Response • Apr 16, 2018

We're sorry the customer was not aware of the shipping charges associated with her order. Most of the tires we sell are eligible for free shipping, with the exception of oversized and overweight tires, which incur freight costs. These costs are stated on our sku pages, as well as during checkout when the purchase is made. We apologize for the negative experience and will be reviewing our site experience in an effort to prevent this type of confusion in the future. We are also refunding the shipping charges associated with this order, so $200 will go back to the original form of payment.
