I paid for my membership May and paid $I was promissed a card within days Finally they offered a card option but they are denying elite
I purchased my membership on May 6, I was promised a card by mail in days I was then told if was delayed I was finally offered a card less option but when I tried to use the card I was unable to do so and noticed I only had the 2D option I confronted them by text message but wax told I only have thd premium basic and would have to upgradeI explained that my offer included movies a month and 3D options and IMAX They then stopped responded To be sure I was correct I checked my credit card statement and indeed $was taken from my card which was an Elite plan in MayEven now it only costs a month to buy an elite movie plan in my area For resolution I either want my money returned or a mailed card with the elite plan

Sinemia added $"Processing Fee" undisclosed prior the start of my subscription
I purchased 1-movie plan per month and paid for full months subscription to SinemiaAfter usage, Sinemia decided to levy $"Processing Fee" in addition to "Convenience fee" for the ticket purchaseThis Processing fee is accessed by Sinemia should be included in the plan but was not disclosed prior the start of my subscriptionI contacted Sinemia regarding the refund of my subscription but was denied and my service was suspended

Like many others have mentioned in their reviews, Sinemia's customer service is impossible to get in touch withIt is extremely distasteful that they suspended our account and requested us to pay an additional $just to re-activate our account due to their version of "miss use" of membershipWe were unaware of the importance of checking into the movie theater after we scan our ticketNowhere on their website nor membership agreement do they state that if you do not check in you will get your membership suspendedPrior to this, their credit card did not work to purchase tickets and we tried getting a hold of them through Twitter and through emails and get no reply for weeksNow, because they want more money from us they reply within minutesBut after we explain to them our situation and asked for a resolution, they have gone silent againThis is no way to treat a customer We are filing a complaint because we have still yet to hear from them and are trying to get a resolution so that we *** continue to use our membership that we have already paid forWe still have half the year to go but cannot use our account because of their suspension and their lack of communicationThis company is very misleading, vague with their company policies, and borderline fraudulent with their sales practices

I have been trying for several months to get in contact with them regarding my accountThe first problem I ran into, was wanting to get a cheaper plan, or a better planThere is no way to do it on the app, or on the websiteI was told it would be only weeks before I'd get my credit card (6-27)However I never received the card to use at my local theater, and its been two months! At this point I'm fed up

I paid for the year up front and today I tried to buy tickets in advance with the credit card information provided and the AMC site said it didnt go through! I have sent emails regarding different issues and have not received a reply on any of them

I have been charged a misuse fee on two seperate occasionsI believe this is not a valid chargeI have contacted Sinimia on several occasions to advise that my app gets stuck and I cant check inThis last movie I did not attend because I did not want to get a misuse feeI contacted support that same nightI did not get a responseI have emailed, sent direct messages on twitter and facebook with no responseI continue to be charged fees above my already yearly paid membership when Im having issues and no one will address this issue I wish to talk to someone regarding this matterI have paid misuse fee and missed out on of my movies included in my membershipThey refuse to respond to my emailsThey do not provide a phone number to talk to a real person

Deceitful advertising practicesThey do not disclose there are additional charges beyond the monthly membership cost until you try to buy a ticket online and are charged $4/movie which *** essentially double what you were told you would pay

I ordered the physical card for and I did not recieve it, the payment went through, and I got an email saying that my card could not be processed for auto-renew, now they are making me pay for the service again, when I paid the initiation fee already

On May I signed up for Sinemia (a movie pass like subscription) for year for a fee free card to purchase movie ticketsSince then I didn't receive my card until December During the time of my active membership, they said I could use an app to purchase tickets and since I didn't want to lose any money I compliedThis app charged me a fee every time I purchased a ticket through their app as well as adding more fees since then (in September/October-ish)
Now in December, I used the service again (as they had told me to, including a check in process) and was charged a fraudulent fee on my accountNow my account is unusable until I pay Sinemia's chargesI've contacted their customer service MULITPLE times through twitter (they have no phone number to contact the company) in hopes of getting rid of the charges but they will not budge

Subscribed on May 2ndNever received their credit cardOn May 24th I submitted an online "contact us" form requesting full refund and stating that I am not interested anymoreAlso I emailed with the same request on the same day

It's been at least business days and no reply/refund

One star is generous, believe me (they won't let you say none)These guys are crooksAvoid them like the plagueI signed up in May of At this time, you signed up under the guise that you would get a physical card in the mailAfter a month, they launched their cardless advance ticket feature, but alas, you have to pay the convenience fee in order to use itSo just like that, I'm paying an extra $dollars a year if I use my max allotment of tickets each monthThey tell me multiple times that their "Card processing facility" is full before they go away with issuing cards altogether, but say those who signed up before a certain date will receive their cardThey also tell me to join a movie rewards program to avoid the fees, but those also cost additional money so that's hardly a solutionIt's been five months, and no card has ever made it into my mailboxThey don't offer refunds, so I can't even cancel and get part of my money backYou're simply stuck either not using it all and watching the money you paid go to waste, or pony up and pay the convenience fee
But wait, it gets betterI go to use my account in October and what do ya know, they've made an update! They inform you VIA THE APP that they've now added a $processing fee per ticket when you use the advance ticket feature, on TOP of the convenience feeSo now I will pay $a month, on top of the convenience fee, if I want to use my tickets
Look, it's a nice idea in theory, to be able to see multiple movies a month without maying the high prices in a theater on a day by day basis, but these guys are not an honest companyThey are just like MoviePassThey dangle the carrot in front of you and they will just keep moving it until they take and take and takeIt's probably cheaper to just pay full price at a movie theater and save yourself the time and energy it takes trying to communicate with a dishonest businessI wish I would have done more research before I committed
Please know what you're getting yourself into or you will find yourself stuck DM'ing their poor social media manager who we all know has zero control over all of these issues as they spit out their lines about "processing facilities" and feesJust my two cents, which I really need since another "processing fee" hike is right around the corner

I attempted to use the Sinemia app for the first time yesterdayI went to purchase the advance ticket, but it told me I must check in firstI checked in successfully when I got to the theatre, but I never received a credit card number to purchase the ticket, so I had to pay for it myselfcording to the app instructions, you should receive your credit card number as soon as you reserve the ticket, but it asked me to check in first and then never gave me a numberI've emailed Sinemia timesEach time I get the exact same message indicating I forgot to check inI checked in, but had to pay for my own ticket as I never received a cc number from SinemiaIt now says I've checked into the movie, but I haven't used any because I paid for it myself! I'm still due movies and I was also charged a convenience fee

So there was no valid check in method The only thing I did not try was entering the search using uppercase letter for the start (e.g- Holmes vs holmes)
Now they have blocked my account unless I pay a $misuse fee The customer service is non-existent I have prepaid for a year and this company is a complete scam
