I had enjoyed moviepass *** months, until they screwed that up and started going downhill rapidlyI found Sinemia and figured the tickets a month for $was better than nothingHowever the process to purchase my ticket was very annoying, I tried to adjustThen the " physical" card which was promised at sign up ( I took a screen shot)Never arrived and when I tried inquiring through supportThat in itself was a horrible experienceThey told me there is no physical card and everyone is being forced to cardlessWhich means I have to plan, purchase advanced tickets, go through fandango whether I like it or notFandango charges $and now Sinemia charges $processing fee I was going to switch to new plan of tickets for $If I average movies a month, I'm paying $+ $18( $convenience fee per movie) and + $( $processing fee per movie)..SO REALITY ISIt costs me $a month to see movies That is just under $a movieYes that's still better than full priceBut I can go see a movie on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays which are cheap/ tight wad nights and pay $-$ It's just not worth the convoluted hassleSinemia will follow the bad marketing practices of moviepass *** eventually go underOr they will rely on the ignorance of people to keep them going forward

I purchased a product that does not do what it advertised and has hidden fees that were not advertisedI want a refund
On 11/23/I purchased a product from Sinemia.comI did not learn until after the purchase that there would be additional, hidden feesAdditionally, the site advertised that they would send me a card to use at movie theaters but there was no place to put my address in for them to send me the cardThis is a scam and I'd like a refund

I used to have another similar service but it was limited to only 2D moviesI can use Sinemia for 3D movies and also other premium format movies like dolby cinema or imax, although you can see premium movies in every daysAlso Sinemia almost covers every theatre, including high-end onesThe app has some glitches from time to time or slow down, but I really didn't have any major issue with them

Poor customer service and not customer friendlyThey never fixed application bug issues in time, responding to our concerns immediately due to which I lost one movie option last monthThis month the moment I forgot cheoption they immediately locked my account and looking for misuse payment instead of actually fixing buggy app or improving their servicesThere should have been way to capture mobile location details during movie time instead of pushing us for manual check-inCustomer is paying for lack of services from Sinemia and doesn't give any reason to continue with them even though my account is active but locked down and okay to lose out balance amount

Fail to book tickets using the information Sinemia provided, but Sinemia took away the credit from my monthly plan
I attempted to use the information that Sinemia provided to book tickets from Atom Tickets, but the transaction was declined and tickets were not successfully bookedHowever, Sinemia still took away my monthly credits as I have booked ticketsSo no tickets were booked, no movies watched, and yet Sinemia considered tickets booked and took away my monthly plan credits

I was not able to use the service they provide Contacted customer service and received no response for daysRefused refund
I contacted customer service in November because I wasn't able to purchase movie tickets I tried on seperate occasions and each time I was declinedI finall left a complaint on their facebook page and that triggered them to response to my customer service email They basically said they wouldn't do anything and would not refund me the money for the month I couldnt use their service

support sucksno reply to my email whatsoeverthey have canceled my membership for no fault of my owni had booked a ticked using advanced ticketing and then canceled because I choose the wrong datebut that was not reflected in sinemia app(somehow!)i then booked my new tickets(which the app allowed me to do!) I thought that since the app allowed me to book the ticket it did receive the cancellation informationbut after few days sienmia replies back saying you have violated terms and conditions and your membership is cancelled
this is not fair if your app is not functioning properlyit should have identified that I had cancelled my tickets and so its not my fault
after this there is no reply from the support people and now they have cancelled my login toothis is very frustratingyou are taking my 100's of $ and not providing proper service

This company clearly has flaws in their systemMy account started in September 2018, there were some months that I could not watch the movies I had signed up forThere are also times where the cancellation button did not workOther times trying to use their services ends up with "Your order has not been processed" messagesToday I used their service to watch a movie, before the movie I tried to "check-in" as requiredThe app had NOT shown the chebutton on both the Watch Tab and Planning TabI thought maybe I had already done soEnded up being told to pay a "misuse fee"This is absurd!

Sinemia is charging the same for people to watch movies individually or as a family (requirement is that the planowner has to be present)
I signed up for a plan for peopleMy plan was activated on 9/when I discovered that I have to be present for the other members to see moviesThe cost is $9.99/mth which is the same as buying plans separatelyI tried to contact them but their email bounced back, they do not have a phone line and they did not respond to the inquiry submitted through their website

I cannot use the service and they refuse to assistI want a refund, their customer service is difficult to deal with
I purchased a plan but they are behind with production and can't get cards out for 3-monthsI can't use the app to see any movies and I am not going to pay for a service that I can't useThey refused to help me and just said they don't give refundsThis has been a bad experienceIf you start a product don't sell it until you can fulfill your load

Can I give stars?
The company never provided plan details after I had paid and has now started chargeing me $per movie even though I already prepaid for their service for a yearThere was no language in the terms about this and I was never notified about it!

Horrible customer service They were rude and kept offering me an option I did not want I signed up for the card in May and this is already August 1st and I still do not have a card They could not even get my name correct even though I made several attempts to get them to use my proper nameThey are just really rude and this is not the way customers should be treated

It's definitely the bait and switch scamIt is asking for $1.8/ticket if you are using apps to purchase(previously, there is no option to use physical cardNow they give you the option, but you have to pay ~$for it, and still need to pay for $if you buy the ticket not in the same day of movie)In their main page for Ads, there is no place they mention this feeThey also reject to refund even though you just use it onceThey will also fight back for credit card chargeback without non-sense terms and conditionsBe aware!

Sinemia is terrible - No phone number to call for customer service and they won't answer emailsYou have to use a 2nd app to purchase your movie tickets plus service feesThey won't give you a card so everytime you want to see a movie you have to go back and forth between the apps to secure your ticket with a temporary credit card number and then verify the ticket at the theaterI joined months ago and still haven't seen a movie due to their confusing appNo refunds eitherBuyer Beware

Even though they have all ratings, I thought of giving it a try and follow all the rules mentioned and see if it is worth it?
I had few questions before purchase:
*** I buy an annual subscription with a sinemia gift card? Their website says yes but I want to confirm since all customers are saying they are having issuesIf yes and I *** buy an annual subscription with a sinemia gift card, please give clear steps on how to do that?
How *** I get physical sinemia card and how to request during purchase of an annual subscription since I do not see an option to request a physical card?
Please provide clear steps for requesting a physical card during purchase of an annual subscription?
How long does the physcial card take to arrive once I bought subscription?

I purchased Sinemia card and purchased almost 6-tickets onlineHowever when I tried to purchase now, Sinemia is charging convenience feeIf it is not charged earlier and why it is charging now ? and my subscription is not finished yetThis is cheating customers
