I received a letter through express UPS from the loan company regarding a promotional offer they had if I completed the following: Enroll in Auto-Debit Today and received a $Reward Card after successful payments The letter I received is dated 02/22/ It stated to enroll in this service and collect #reward card, simply use of these easy options by 04/15/16: Visit their website, return the authorization form, or call the customer service phone number I called on 02/24/to enroll in the auto-debit to receive the reward card I contacted the company several times to verify when should I anticipate to receive the reward card The first time I called they said a date had not been set After not receiving the reward card, I sent an electronic email through their web account They replied to my email stating I did not enroll on time I replied to their email and stated the response they provided me is incorrect I replied that I enrolled two days after wh

Mortgage Company called Specialized Loan Servicing for my previous loan for address [redacted]  closed & transferred to [redacted] *** ,was closed end of December I called numerous times and Specialized Loan Servicing said everything ok, but yet continues to call ! Most recent call 6-12-& message saying call back again!

I seriously can't believe this company is in business! My experience with this company was HORRIBLESpoke to a supervisor who was this side of snotty! Absolutely horrible experience! Had fallen behind in payments and entered a repayment agreement, which we have followed to a "T." Problem is that the repayment dept people don't talk to the regular billing department, so I receive letters and phone calls about my "late" payments which are not late. When I call to get things straightened out, I typically get a rep with no more capability than to tell me that "yes, my system shows your payment is late." They have also autodebited the incorrect amount from my account and credit my loan payments sometimes weeks after the debits.

More than three times my wife and I requested for a loan modification for our second mortgage with SLS. We finally received a proposal but it didn't provide us any relief. The same rate and conditions were applied. We requested for another review and to speak with a specialist for more than seven times and was put on the call back list but no one called us or sent us a letter regarding our concern. We then receive a notice of default or foreclosure for lack of payment, $602.32. but never received a call back or letter. It was devastating. So I am reaching out to your office to mitigate with them to respond to our request for an equitable and relief due to our reduced income. SLS is a debt-collection company that's moved into the mortgage-servicing business SLS acquired my mortgage in May [my property is in California] It was a simple mortgage -- ie not an escrow account mortgage Around August 2017, SLA decided to convert my mortgage to an escrow arrangement They did this internally and did not communicate this to me until confusingly-described charges for escrow account-sounding things began to appear on my monthly statement, around the same that I tried to pay my November property taxes, and discovered that SLS had paid them They had simultaneously started, again without any communication to me, allocating part of my mortgage payment to their escrow account and part to my mortgage account -- thereby proclaiming my mortgage as late-paid/short-paid I have received at least roboletters confirming this arcane set of artificially-created calculations, none of which answers my question as to how/why this happened and/or how to r

Specialized Loan Servicing, LLC purchased my loan from a previous loan service company and I have had chronic issues with their systems and customer service. First of all, they sent me a welcome packet letting me know that they would be servicing my loan and I would be receiving additional information shortly. Nothing out of the ordinary here. I received my welcome packet and immediately followed ALL required steps to ensure a seamless transition from my end, or at least I thought. I set up automatic payments on their site, which isn't particularly user friendly, but the auto payment seems to work ok. I also uploaded a copy of my insurance policy to their "third-party" insurance site. This is where my problems started. A couple weeks after uploading my insurance information, as instructed in my welcome packet, I received a notice from SLS that they would be unilaterally acquiring insurance for me if I did not provide proof of insurance. I went back onto the third-party site and confirmed that my insurance information had been uploaded. Then, I called SLS, to let them know that my insurance information had been uploaded. The representative told me that they have been having problems with their site and asked me to fax my insurance documents to him. I did this, three times, to two different fax numbers: the one the representative gave me and the one on the website. The faxes returned on all six attempts. I called again and asked if I could please send them by e-mail. The representative told me that he could not receive them by e-mail and that they would need to be mailed. I mailed them. After mailing them, I called my insurance company and asked them to do the same. I THINK this issue is finally resolved, but it took way too much time and it was a ridiculous process. Second, I have had chronic issues with SLS regarding the incorrect calculation of my escrow account. They have incorrectly recalculated my escrow account 3 times now and I have called each month, for 3 months to try and get this resolved. The representatives have not seemed knowledgeable at all regarding basic mortgage principles or how to navigate their own system and independently problem solve. After this last call, I fully plan on needing to call them back again, likely next month, to continue the dance. I ASKED to take their customer service survey and it was 5 questions, "Yes" or "No", with no offer to speak with a manager or anyone with authority to resolve my concerns. SLS is not BBB accredited and I honestly feel that I have no recourse as a consumer and am stuck with a loan servicer that cannot fulfill basic functions.
