My mortgage was transferred to SLS a couple of months agoDuring the "welcome call" I advised them my refinance was set up to have the taxes paid semi-annually per the tax bill provided to lenderThey assured me this would be notedThen I got the escrow analysis letter saying that I was shortThen a lady in the tax department told me my PITI wouldn't change if they updated itExcuse me? If you're trying to collect $3k versus the $due in January there is a difference! Then she handed me back to the customer service department to help me with my escrowsThey sent me back to the tax department and I spoke with someone more helpful, attentive and who wasn't dismissive at allYet my account still shows my taxes are due annually and I haven't heard anything from the escalation request that was submittedAfter reading the reviews I'm not even sure my taxes will be paid on timeDuring the "welcome call" and a subsequent call I was told I could also pay my mortgage bi-weekly via bill payThis also was not correctIf the full payment isn't received they will apply it to the principal only and it will not reflect a mortgage payment was madeI've had to have them correct my mortgage payments both times they were sent

In my experience, this company uses practices of a lowly collection agency One of my lenders apparently switched to the SLS this month in order to process their payments through them Being a good citizen that I am, I called them to ensure that during the switch no payments were missed I told them that this month's payment was mailed to them in response to a notification letter from SLS The customer service rep suggested that I created an automatic draft, which I did He said that the first withdrawal will be done on Apr and offered to have the March withdrawal to be set up as a time deal I explicitly inquired twice that the March withdrawal won't be made until March and was assured of thatLo and behold, it is February 22, a long way to go before March 1, and I get a notification from my bank that SLS processed my withdrawal now How is this possible?! They specifically assured me that it won't happen until March 1! Why the lie? Thankfully, I don't live from paycheck to paycheck, but many people do Dishonest practices like that make me feel like I am dealing with a hustler on the Strip in ***, not a reputable company

I am trying to get caught up on home equity line payments I have fallen behind on my payments I asked them if I could do a payment plan to catch up They said I could if I could make two payments by the end of the month I said I could make one payment and they said that would not work I would like to try and resolve this issue by making a series of payments by October I do not want to lose my house over a second line mortgage

I recently sold/closed on my house, SLS gave my closing co wrong pay off info and took us over a month to get it straightened out, im the meantime they reported to local credit bureau that I was months late on my payment dropping my perfect score of to 688, I have tried calling them and was told I couldnt talk to any supervisors so im writing and emailing everyone that I can contact with this info in hopes of getting this corrected

During 2016, I had Specialized Loan Services set up on my Autopay account with my bank When I set up the account, I asked what my monthly payment should be and when should it be paid I was given both pieces of information and was told to check in December if interest rates would change If so, I would adjust my monthly payment During the spring of interest rates changed, however, I have no record of ever being informed of the change Therefore, my monthly payments continued in the amount I was given when I set up my Autopay account The result was my payments always arrived on time, however, due to the interest rate increase, three of the monthly amounts were short totaling approximately $ Once I found out I had underpaid due to the interest rate increase, I paid funds due immediately My monthly payments were always made on time but Specialized Loan Services reported me to the credit bureaus because I had not adjusted my payments to reflect the increase in intere

SLS took over my mortgage from *** in the middle of my forbearance due to Hurricane IrmaIn earlier phone conversations, SLS acknowledged this forbearance and assured that there would not be any credit reporting or late feesI was told SLS would match ***'s agreement to extend the loan rather than having all monies due at the end of the forbearanceSLS went back on that and made everything due March 1, I called for the amount due and paid that full amountSLS still shows that payments were made late and states that I am a month behind and is still charging late feesTheir customer service is the most frustrating I have ever dealt with

This organization continues to send mail that suggests that you line of credit is negative in indicating that there is an immediate freeze I continue to receive correspondence that my line of credit has been terminated I paid this loan off over 5+ and continue to receive correspondence that indicates that my credit with them is negative..."your lender rights retain the rights to enforce acceleration"....."Please be advise that your Lender has instructed SLS, the servicer of this loan, to immediately freeze the available funds for your Home Equity Line of Credit" I continue to receive this type of correspondence although the loan was paid off over 5+ years ago They don't really say that my loan is in default but use this kind of scare tactic for some reason I've called their customer service line and I had to go through minutes of options to say they were closed Really? I would never recommend this company for any line of credit Why do they continue to send me mail? Bad customer service!!!
