On January 1st of our mortgage loans transferred to Specialized loan servicing that had purchased our mortgage without us being aware We paid January and Feb payments to the old company On about March the 3rd the new company locked us out of our house and shut off the utilities They placed a sticker on the inside window of the house stating they had changed the locks and shut off the utilities When I called the phone number on the sticker they refused to give me the mortgage companies name/phone number My wife called the mortgage co and they refused to give us access to the house till we paid jan/feb/march payments on both houses, even though we had already paid They never filed any legal processes or gave any notices To this day, almost a month later they still have not given us a key to the house and have placed day late notices on my credit report even though we are current and did not miss any paymentsThey illegally locked us out, they illegally entered our house, they illegally shut off our utilities and opened up water lines causing water leaks in the house, they illegally put marks on my credit report for mortgages and when I call them multiple times they refuse to fix it and stated “this is a big mystery how this happened.”

In my short experience with this business, it has been a complete nightmare or misinformation, untruths and threats I provide documentation and information as requested, but SLS has failed to meet even the most fundamental deadlines they set I was informed that I should have my loan modification documents by July 15, or early the next week However, it is my experience that they are incapable of meeting any date point for anything I have been stonewalled on every question I submit and speaking with the same person twice is near impossible I have been in limbo since last December at the hands of my previous mortgage holder and this hack mortgage servicer
My husband and I filed chapter bankruptcy almost years ago and SLS is not reporting to the credit bureau they they were included in the bankruptcy They are still reporting incorrectly to the credit bureau and we are receiving bills from them as well
