I booked a ticket to Sao Paulo with Smartfares I thought it was a positive experience since the ticket was less expensive than other sites such as expedia, etc That is until my client received the statement from American Express Turns out that Smartfares charged the card approximately $2, The price that was quoted to me in an email confirmation from Smartfares after my reservation was finalized was $2, I went online to the United Airlines website to get a copy of my itinerary/receipt The fare listed on the itinerary was $2, When I called to ask Smartfares why the fare they quoted me and the fare on the United website were different, they were not able to provide an adequate explanation They did however say that they would credit the card for the difference of the $and the We have not yet seen the credit to the card There is also no corporate office that you can call or an accounting department

I spoke with Ms***. We researched and found the remaining amount she originally requested per the Revdex.com complaint. She said she had already received the refund for the difference.I will look into this again

I did NOT call within hours of purchaseI was told not once but twice on chat and the phoneThis companies rep has consistently agreed that her company misinformed me from the start but will do nothing about itFurther more from the response I can only gather, the deceitful practices are the norm because the rep I dealt with could not seem to retrieve my interactions with her company from her system.I tried to be helpful and gave her dates and times so she could see for herself so I'm not sure how she thinks I first contacted within hoursThe only thing they keep saying is the ticket is non refundable and then they say we can cancel it for $$$$ and you will get $$$ refundI do not accept this If the airline won't refund my money, LBF should do the right thing and refund meAlso they need to retrain their reps, so others do not have to end up with the same situation.

I have sent the requested documents showing the full fare I was charged Yes, the $was a fee charged to refund my ticket but I never received the refund That is precisely my complaint, I was charged as per the documents I have submitted, then after complaining I was offered a refund if I agreed to paying a $refund fee I agreed and then never received a refund The company still has my original payment for the airline ticket plus the refund fee If their bookkeeping is so faulty that they can't find the record, I suspect fraud by someone on their staff I have all the original documents and email, plus bank records as has been previously submitted If this cannot be resolved here I will be forced to take this to small claims court

This is a totally fraudulent bait-and-switch site
They advertise a price for a flight, then call you up on the phone to tell you that the price has gone significantly upTheir deceitful advertising continues to figure on their site, however
I belatedly come to the conclusion that it's advisable indeed to deal with the airlines directly or at least with reputable well-known travel companies

I do not consider this case closed as I followed the instructions exactly as instructed and they were not correctA credible agency that issues tickets is able to revise those tickets

Tell us why here...I show our agent *** contacted Mr*** yesterday Mar 5, 2016. She was able to rebook his return on the correct date. Unfortunately there was no availability for him to return around noon. Mr*** agreed to the new return time at 505pm on
May 2016. *** complete the ticket exchange at no extra cost to Mr***.
We apologized and agreed this was an agent error.
we have resolved this complaint

I spoke with Mr.*** yesterday and assured him this will be resolved by today

I spoke with Ms*** this morning. I advised her as soon as she sends me documentation from her credit card company showing the dispute was dismissed. I will be able to process her refund. Tickets were never issued due to a glitch in our system

A lady from Travel Agency spoke to me by phone about my airline tickets , she want to send me another check instead the check which I dont recieve it , I refused her offer , I told her I already get my wife tickets refund by *** Express Help , and now I have my sons tickets , by the US law kids under years old cant travel alone , and one of my kids ( months old) have a Cancer and hes under chemotherapy now , his treatment needs at least years so by the US law also, he cant travel and he can get his money full back , After I refused her offer she said shes realy want to help me and she want me to talk with *** Express Cards and Cancel my Disputes . Italked to *** Express , they advice me to tell the Travel Agency , if they are really want to help me give me my money back first then I will cancel what if I cancel it then travel agency said sorry we cant give u ur money back ?
I have a Medical Report from Children Hospital show my baby Situation , Hes under Intensive care , using Chemotherapy everyday a nurse from the hospital come to my apartment to check my son health , give him many kind of treatment , week after week I need to take my sone to hospital and stay there for few days sometimes weeks Te Social Worker at the Hospital told me by the law my baby cant travel , and if Travel agency refused to give me my money back I can go to the Suprem Fedral Court
At the same time im writing this massage I look at my *** Express , they return me back as a refund the $( Travel Agencey Fees Service) and My baby ticket ( $ 184.43) So my new case now is my oldest son ticket ( $973.33)
Now I had My wife tickets , travel agency service fees and my sick baby ticket

regarding refund for cancelled airline tickets. Ms***'s airline tickets were actually purchased thru one of our consolidatorsThe *** had a schedule change and Ms*** accepted a refund rather than reschedule. The reason her refund was delayed was because our
consolidator is not able to refund us until the *** refunds them. Once the consolidator receives the refund they will then process a refund to us. Once this is complete we are able to refund the passenger.As a courtesy we have refunded Ms***s tickets in full. She should see this back in her account within the week

We have enclosed the attached information showing the two dollar amounts for the quoteOne in USD and the other in AUD
There is nothing more we can do
