I see Ms [redacted] did call to cancel her tickets We voided the tickets however the total charge never was sent to refunds Total amount charged [redacted] refund processed TRANSACTION REFUND DETAIL FOR ID [redacted] we are very sorry for any misunderstanding When you book over the phone our agents search for the lowest fare It is possible the lower fare was not available at the time of booking However the class of service opened up This is one of the frustrating things about booking airline tickets

We stand behind our original response We have nothing to do with gate changes at the airport This is the responsibility of the traveler When you enter the airport you should always look at the departure and arrival monitorMany times gates change Especially since you received your boarding passes the night before

BBB, This customer has not produced any new information. My last response remains valid. These airline tickets were purchased on 1/29/14. The customer no showed his flights and the tickets have no value now. I've attached the confirmation email in this rebuttal for your convenience. We have researched this issue Passenger original ticket came back unable to confirm Seats were not available One of our agents rebooked her on different flights that were available In this case the fare was higher As a courtesy we have refunded $back to her credit card

We have resolved this issue We booked his cousin on alternate flights at no extra cost

I spoke with Ms [redacted] numerous times When she called to ask what the penalties were our agent advised $per person At the time this is what it was since it was within hours She booked on May She called us on May to request penalties should she have to cancel She was traveling with her children One of her children was unable to get off work When Ms [redacted] called weeks later she was informed the penalty is $per personIn actuality tickets were non refundableThis was an error with one of our newer agentsWhat he should have said was you can change your tickets with a penaltyMs [redacted] was sent an email when she originally booked the tickets In this email it stated tickets were non refundable Which she replied via email she agreed to Ms [redacted] explained to me she no longer wanted to go on the trip if her daughter wasn't able to go She requested all tickets be refunded She was advised she can hold the credit for future use She would have to pay the penalties of the airlines plus the difference in the new fare Our only error was that of a new agent Ms [redacted] received confirmation stating tickets were non-refundable We can only go by the rules of the airlines

We are very sorry for Mr***'s frustrationI offered him the same fare he was quoted on United AirlinesHe declined this I was in the process of offering him the [redacted] Airlines at the same fareWe were willing to pay the difference of $ He had already rebooked his flights We are very sorry Mr [redacted] feels as though he was mistreated He declined every offer we gave him We feel as this case is now closed
