We are sorry to hear about Mr. [redacted]’s experience with Snap Finance. We are sorry he experienced long hold times on the phone. We have recently experienced higher call volumes than normal, and are working to bring them within manageable levels. Mr. [redacted] entered into a rental-purchase agreement....

 All terms and conditions were clearly disclosed in his agreement. Each rental-purchase agreement is for a total period of 12 months. We provide customers the option to obtain ownership early by providing them a 100 Day Cash Payoff and after expiration an Early Buyout Discount where the customer only has to pay a percentage of the remaining payments. Customers must contact us if they would like to exercise one of their early buyout options. We also provide customers a clear summary of their costs and terms before they sign the agreement.We do not offer monthly statements at this time; However, we are happy to provide customers with a summary of payments if they request. We are sorry that this was not a satisfactory solution for Mr. [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] took advantage of his early buyout discount. If he has any additional questions we are happy to answer them. I am rejecting this response because:
I was not told by [redacted] or Snap Finance that my purchase was a lease agreement.  Upon my last conversation with the owner at [redacted] he assured me that my purchase was just that, a purchase and not a lease agreement. I did not speak with anyone at Snap Finance at any time up to August 2016 when I called to see why they were still taking payments out of my account. There is no way that I would have knowingly agreed to pay more than 100% interest on a purchase. The original purchase was 799.00 plus tax. They are trying to charge me over a 1000.00 in interest fees. I have never heard of anything like this.  I opened the account online for the credit by filling in the information that I was asked for. At that time I was provided with the credit limit. I never received anything about a lease agreement. I have never received anything in my email from SNAP finance, and I was not informed about a lease agreement until I called them August 2016. I have paid for the equipment in full and I do not owe them anything else. It would be foolish for me to continue to pay them and then return the equipment minus 200.00. Shame on SNAP finance and shame on [redacted]. Revdex.com please help me to protect my consumer rights.

On Sunday April 24th Mr. [redacted] called into Snap Finance inquiring about the amount he would pay to take advantage of his Early Buyout Option. his call the payment previously scheduled for April 25th was already in process and the amount quoted to him by our customer service representative had calculated the in process payment into the quoted amount. Mr. [redacted] was not charged more than what he was quoted and paid, but our customer service department could have been more clear with the details of the pending payment. We are sorry for the confusion Mr. [redacted] experienced and we will use his feedback to improve the customer experience for future customers.

We are sorry to hear about Ms. [redacted]’s frustrations with Snap Finance. One of our representatives made an agreement with her to bring her account current for $101.89. It is our understanding that this arrangement caused her account to become overdrawn and charged overdrawn fees. She contacted us...

claiming she did not authorize the payment. We communicated to her that we would be happy to refund the payment and take care of any overdrawn fees as long as she provided us a valid bank statement. She did provide a “statement” but the information on the document did not meet our requirements for us to authorize a fee refund. Additionally, An Investigation into her bank account revealed that her Financial Institution only charges $25 for an overdrawn fee. This dollar amount was also verified by an employee of her Financial Institution. The fee amounts listed on the document she provided were significantly higher. We are happy to refund her any fee that was charged to her account in connection with her Snap Finance payment, as long as we receive a valid bank statement from her Financial Institution with the associated fee charges. months with payments of $84.62 every other week. Snap Finance offers all customers two Early Purchase Options. A 100 Day Cash Payoff Option where all lease charges are waived, and after expiration, an Early Buyout Discount where they only have to pay a percentage of the remaining payments. Customers must call us to make payment arrangements if they wish to take advantage of one of our early payoff options. Unfortunately, Ms. [redacted] 100 Day Cash Payoff Option expired on June 15, 2017. At that time, she had only paid $507.62 towards her balance. The 100 Day Cash Payoff Option is no longer available to her. However, she can still take advantage of our Early Buyout Discount. If she would like to take advantage of the Early Buyout Discount she must call us at 877-557-3769.

Snap Finance does offer a customer web portal for online access to some of our finance products. however, we do not have a web customer portal for the specific loan product Ms. [redacted] entered into.
