Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]I have pasted a copy of the most current activity to my account. This clearly shows that the full refund has not been credited as promised. It also indicates that no further refund or other good-faith effort has been made. I continue to be dissatisfied by this company.
Regards,
[redacted]

The balance of the order has been transferred to a new account in the purchasers name and the account belonging to Ms. [redacted] has been closed. It should be noted that Ginny's did not request or receive a copy of Ms....

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]I have disputed this information with the credit bureau that the inquiry is associated with and Ginny's is confirming that it me.Their response  to my complaint is not acceptable due to Ginny's admitting that I hold no account with the company however my credit still took a hard inquiry. It's very evident that Ginny's has poor and shady business practices. The credit bureau has once again for the 2nd time, to reach out to Ginny's and they will no remove the fraudulent inquiry that they have placed on my credit report. I'm and suffering from the consequences of the mistakes that Ginny's has made and I want justice. I will stop at nothing until this is handled in a fair and professional manner.Best Regards, Royal [redacted] III

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is apparently the only thing this business will do to resolve the problem.  I sent the payment for the towels and cancelled the art. THERE SHOULD BE A STANDARD THAT A COMPANY IS REQUIRED TO FOLLOW SO AS NOT TO ABUSE THE CONSUMER.  This business would do nothing to correct their invoice .  I had to cancel my order to get the invoice corrected.  Why would a business turn down a chance to sell product ???
I do intend to tell all of my friends about the way this company treats a paying customer.

Seventh Avenue's records indicate three calls from Ms. [redacted] on January 12, 2018. Seventh Avenue is reviewing the calls to determine if the agent involved met the company's expectations for customer service.
The fact remains, however, that Seventh Avenue has not furnished information regarding the account at issue since April of 1998. If information regarding the account appears on a consumer credit report, Ms. [redacted] should dispute the information with the agency that prepared the report.

A credit to Ms. [redacted]’ account on September 21, 2016 reduced her account balance to $32.08. A statement was prepared and mailed to Ms. [redacted] on or about October 12, 2016, reflecting an account balance of $33.08 and a payment due date of November 10, 2016. Ms. [redacted] failed to make a payment on or...

before the due date. A new account statement was prepared and mailed to Ms. [redacted] reflecting a balance of $34.08 and a payment due date of December 10, 2016.
Ten days after the November due date, no payment having been received, a late payment fee was assessed on the account on November 22, 2016. Ms. [redacted] made a payment of $34.08 on December 9, 2016, leaving an unpaid balance of $10 on the account.
As a courtesy to Ms. [redacted], Ginny’s has credited her account for the $10 late fee and the related finance charges. The account now has a zero balance.

Ms. [redacted] account is past due. The fact that she has indicated an intent to make a payment in the future does not change the current status of her account. Montgomery Ward has the right, under the account agreement, to suspend purchasing privileges at any time - including when an account is past...

due. Ms. [redacted] will be free to contact Montgomery Ward regarding her held order after she brings her account current. Please note that the order will not be released automatically if/when the account becomes current.

As stated previously, there is no record of a conversation similar to the one described by Mr. [redacted] on any date. Equally importantly, the information Mr. [redacted] alleges he was given by the agent is factually inaccurate. Colony Brands companies do not sell their accounts to third parties. Each of the accounts remains the property of the company that originally extended credit. Further, submitting an identity theft affidavit would have no impact on Mr. P[redacted] children. Mr. [redacted] has already indicated his belief that one of his children opened the accounts - putting that belief in writing and signing a declaration as to its validity will change nothing. Submitting an identity theft affidavit does not obligate Mr. [redacted] to pursue criminal charges or even file a police report. Given the extensive history on the accounts, the companies will not delete the account records based solely on Mr. P[redacted] verbal assertion that they are not his. He can either pay the accounts or file an identity theft affidavit asserting, under penalty of perjury, that the accounts are not his. Finally please note that the companies do not request or accept deletion of account information as a condition of payment on a delinquent account. Thus, the companies will not delete the account information in the expectation that Mr. [redacted] will pay the balances in full, nor will the companies agree to delete the account information after the accounts are paid.

Ms. [redacted] placed an order with Midnight Velvet that was
posted to her Midnight Velvet credit account on March 6, 2015. A statement was
prepared and mailed to Ms. [redacted] indicating the first monthly payment of $25 was
due on or before April 10, 2015. Ms. [redacted] failed to make the required...

monthly
payment. On or about April 13, 2015 prepared another billing statement and
mailed it to Ms. [redacted]’s attention. This statement indicated a payment of $50
(the $25 scheduled payment plus the $25 past due amount) was due on or before
May 10, 2015. The due date on this statement did not alter the fact that $25
was past due and immediately payable. Midnight Velvet called Ms. [redacted] on April
29, 2015, seeking immediate payment of the past due amount.
Ms. [redacted] called Midnight Velvet on May 1, 2015 to request
her account number. Midnight Velvet required Ms. [redacted] to provide sufficient personal
information to demonstrate that she was, in fact, the account holder.
Ms. [redacted] received a collection call regarding her past due
account 18 days after her payment was due.
Midnight Velvet refused to provide a caller with a customer account
number until and unless it could verify the identity of the caller. Midnight
Velvet does not believe either of these instances constitutes harassment of any
kind. Ms. [redacted] can avoid further collections calls by making the required
monthly payment on her account on or before the due date and can refer to her
monthly billing statement for her account number.

Seventh Avenue has not determined that Ms. [redacted] is responsible for payment of this account - it's investigation is ongoing. Further, Seventh Avenue has not furnished any information regarding the account to a consumer reporting agency. Finally, a social security number is not required to place an order with Seventh Avenue. However, in instances like this one, when an order is received from a consumer who was not pre-screened, a social security number is required.  As stated previously, a social security number was provided as part of the application.  Seventh Avenue anticipates Ms. [redacted] cooperation in its investigation of this matter so that a swift and amicable resolution can be achieved.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
They obviously did NOT read my complaint because I clearly wrote that I repeatedly filed disputes regarding both accounts with the credit bureaus and there statement shows a lack of reading, comprehension or an automatic response.

Ms [redacted]

The section of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act Ms. [redacted] refers to governs the activities of third party debt collectors - Monroe & Main is the original creditor and the issuer of Ms. [redacted]'s account. Monroe & Main provided Ms. [redacted] with verification of her debt every...

month from February of 2012 through July of 2013 in the form of monthly billing statements. Monroe & Main has no record of a dispute from Ms. [redacted] during the time the account was open and active. More to the point, Ms. [redacted] made multiple payments on her account while it was open, signifying her acceptance of the account balance as accurate and correct. Finally, Monroe & Main has responded to the automated disputes Ms. [redacted] has filed with the various credit reporting agencies in accordance with the requirements of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It is Monroe & Main's position that Ms. [redacted] is the owner of the account and that she is responsible for payment of the balance.

Seventh Avenue has credited the account to remove two late payment fees and associated finance charges as a courtesy to Mr./Ms. Sanders. The account now has a zero balance. Seventh Avenue's records indicate all payments made on a card ending in 2731 were refused beginning on September 5, 2015....

Payments made on other cards were accepted and posted to the account. Seventh Avenue notes that these were internet payments, made without intervention by any agent or representative of Seventh Avenue. Payments made online are submitted for processing automatically at or shortly after 5:00 p.m. each business day.

Ginny's has removed Ms. [redacted] from its mailing list in accordance with her request. Please also note that Ginny's did not obtain a copy of Ms. [redacted] consumer credit report. nor has it furnished any information regarding the account to the consumer reporting agencies. As a result, this matter...

has had no impact on Ms. [redacted] credit score. Ms. [redacted] request for credit was denied when Ginny's initial processing revealed a previously charged off account with a related company.

Wards does not believe any further response is required.
