[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] This amount cleared my bank on I was told it was to be reported immediately to Monroe and Main I asked the collection agency for an email stating it was paid, they promised to send it but I still have not received this email Monroe and Main can contact the agency they have assigned via phone to verify payment This is the company they chose and have a business relationship with and can easily facilitate this request Both companies are providing excuses when they have the moneyAs with original request, I am asking for Monroe and Main to verify with their assigned agency that the money was received and processedMy bank has paid these funds from my account, they are NOT pendingThey can verify with Universal Fidelity and send letter immediately

Montgomery Ward coded the original order (received on October 21, 2016) as fraud, along with the credit account that was opened at the same timeThree additional orders have been placed in Mr*** name since, on December 3, 2016, December 7, and February 18, None of these orders have resulted in the shipment of merchandise or the opening of an account in Mr*** nameMontgomery Ward has taken the steps necessary to prevent any more fraudulent purchases in MrFerrells' name, but it cannot, unfortunately, prevent individuals from entering his personal information on its website and ATTEMPTING to open an accountIt should also be noted that no information regarding these transactions has been furnished to a consumer reporting agency, precluding any possible harm to Mr*** credit score

Ms*** has not paid one penny in additional finance charges, late fees or other charges as a result of this matterThe only difference between this purchase and the purchases Ms*** made previously is the account number that appeared on her monthly billing statementsIf Ms*** chooses not to pay the balance on her account, she will simply be choosing not to pay for the merchandise that was shipped to her in good faith in April of She should be aware, however, that the decision not to pay the account will result in additional finance charges, the assessment of late payment fees and, ultimately, referral of the account to a collection agency and the appearance of adverse information on her consumer credit report

Seventh Avenue offers its apologies to Ms*** for the delay in shipping her orderUnfortunately, certain characteristics of her down payment caused her check to be held for verification
Fortunately, however, her order has been shipped and should be delivered in the next few days

An identity theft affidavit was mailed to Ms*** attention in January of 2016, but has not been returnedA second affidavit was mailed in June of This affidavit has also not been returnedThe information Ms*** provides in her complaint is not sufficient to allow Ginny's to
conduct a reasonable investigation of her claimGinny's will investigate further upon receipt of additional documentation from Ms***

Unfortunately, the full account number does not appear on credit reports, having the last or digits omitted. I provided a copy of one such reportingIn addition, I have sent further correspondence to the business directly that included my social security number for reference

Montgomery Ward offers its sincere apologies to Ms*** for the failure of its agents to respond appropriately to her concernsWhen Ms*** called Ward's to dispute her missing payment, she was asked to provide documentation of the paymentMs*** complied with the request by sending in a copy
of the front and back of the checkGiven this indication that Ward's had received the check (but not applied it to Ms***'s account), a thorough investigation should have been conducted to find out where the payment was appliedInstead, Ms*** was told to provide a copy of her bank statement indicating the payment had clearedThere was no reasonable basis for this request, as Ward's records did not indicate receipt of a returned or dishonored paymentUpon receipt of Ms***'s Revdex.com complaint, the account was placed on hold, coded to prevent any further collection activity and a comprehensive search for the payment was initiatedWard's located the payment today and transferred it to the correct account. The account will be credited to a zero balance and any adverse information that may have been furnished to a consumer reporting agency will be deletedFinally, a Ward's credit agent has contacted Ms*** directly to let her know the matter has been resolved

On October 20, MsT*** arranged an ACH payment on her Ginny’s accountThe payment was processed in accordance with MsT*** arrangements on November 1, The check was returned as unpaid on November 7, On November 25, MsT*** called to request removal of the
returned payment fee assessed on her accountShe was informed that, since the returned payment was the result of the arrangements she made online, the fee would not be credited.Nonetheless, as a courtesy, Ginny’s has credited her account to remove the late payment feeThis adjustment will appear on MsT*** next monthly billing statement.
