Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below When I received the response to my original claim I accidentally said I agreed with the findings The findings were inconclusive because I put my current address on the claim The account where the charge was placed was my old address [redacted] [redacted] *** I never ordered anything fun Ashro it Colony Brands They (Ashro) sent a pre approved catalog to my old addressand someone made purchases that I was unaware of until I saw my credit reportI contacted Ashro, to protect my credit, I said I would pay this account off and they agreed to have it removed from my credit reports It is still showing on my credit reportsI did open a new Revdex.com claim with the [redacted] address.Thank you for your time and attention to this matter Regards, [redacted]

Ms[redacted] has established accounts with Swiss Colony affiliates Ginny's and Montgomery WardMs [redacted] placed an order with Ginny's in July that exceeded her available credit limitGinny's requested a copy of her consumer credit report to determine if additional credit could be extended to herIn response, Ginny's received the following:FRAUD VICTIM EXTENDED FRAUD ALERT: ACTION MAY BE REQUIRED UNDER FCRAGinny's informed Ms [redacted] by mail that additional credit could not be extended unless she contacted the company regarding the orderMs [redacted] placed also an order with Montgomery Ward in July and received the same messageThere is no indication Ms [redacted] contacted either company to resolve the fraud alertWhen Ms [redacted] placed orders with Swiss Colony in December, the fraud alert remained in effect and she received the same message she had received previouslyThe letter specifically asks that she personally contact the company to resolve the consumer alert so that her order can be releasedMs [redacted] did not contact Swiss Colony and the orders have not been releasedMs [redacted] 's accounts have been closed in accordance with her request

Colony Brands offers its apologies to Mr [redacted] for any inconvenience he may have experienced as a result of this matterCreditors are required by law to establish reasonable policies and procedures to prevent and mitigate identity theft and other forms of fraudPurchase velocity (the frequency with which credit purchases are made) is one of the measures creditors use to detect and prevent possible fraudThe companies with which Mr [redacted] has accounts share purchase data for this purpose, so that multiple purchases from related companies in a short amount of time can result in orders being held as potentially fraudulentSince this is a fraud prevention application that is governed by an algorithm, credit agents are not able to override the hold and release ordersIt appears that Mr [redacted] called in on June 9, and was advised that his best course of action is to wait 10-days before placing another order

An identity theft affidavit was sent to Ms [redacted] 's attention on 8/31/As stated previously, GrandPointe will investigate this matter further upon receipt of additional information from Ms [redacted]

The payment Ms [redacted] made on January 6, was directed by the payment service to another account with a zero balanceThe payment was refunded via check on January 13, The refund check was returned to Seventh Avenue on February 17, The payment will be applied to Ms***'s accountAs a courtesy, Seventh Avenue has credited Ms***'s account to remove late payment fees and finance chargesThese adjustments will appear on her next monthly billing statementNo information regarding the account has been furnished to a consumer reporting agency

It was never stated that the money would not be paid back It was requested that lower terms be established without penalty Does Montgomery Ward/Seventh Avehave any questions on their credit application asking individuals if they have a disability or issues prior to establishing credit with themThe answer would be No! That is against the lawSo, why would they make the following comment: "Whatever financial constraints Ms***' injury and forced retirement may have placed on her were already in place when she opened her Montgomery Ward account."Example of a Hypothetical Application Question: Montgomery Ward/Seventh Ave: (Asks an applicant) Do you declare any disabilities prior submitting this credit application If you do, you may or may not be approved.2.Montgomery Ward/Seventh Ave - "As stated previously, Wards is willing to make adjustments to accommodate consumers who have experienced sudden, unforeseen changes in their financial condition."What defines a sudden change? My sudden change was also compounded when I took on the expenses of my brother's sudden death that resulted in be providing maximum funds for his burial That also took a toll on my income and ability to pay the debt in a timely manner.3.Montgomery Ward/Seventh Ave - "As a result, her request to modify her payment plan was declined"The modification was declined on the merits of Montgomery Ward/Seventh Ave's own request They are the ones who suggested that I furnish all of the information as proof that I was in a hardship status, not me I furnished every document in which they requested and they continued to ask for additional documents as I provided each one They then began to make the request more and more difficult and improbable as I granted their requests one by one They gave the impression that I would not be able to come up with the requested documents, but I did anywayFinally, after running out of requests, they simply denied the modification I even furnished names of all the customer service providers in which I spoke withThere should not have been any denial during this process.4.Montgomery Ward/Seventh Ave - Finally, as stated previously, Ms***' account has been referred to a collection agency, Any and all payments on the account should be directed to the collection agency.Ever since I began this process, Montgomery Ward/Seventh Ave - quickly placed this account in a collection status, which was not in one prior to my complaint They seemed to want to quickly get rid of me as opposed to working with me or establishing a viable solution Regards, [redacted] ***

None of the companies named by Ms [redacted] has ever referred collection accounts to American Medical RetrievalFurther, none of the companies named allows collection agencies collecting on their behalf to furnish information to the consumer reporting agenciesNone of the companies sells its accounts to debt buyersTherefore, the only account information appearing on a consumer credit report would be the original trade lines from Swiss Colony, Country Door, and Monroe & MainPlease note that each of the companies furnished a date of first delinquency of November, and stopped actively reporting the accounts in If account information continues to appear on a credit report from one or more of the consumer reporting agencies, Ms [redacted] should file an on-line dispute with the agency that compiled the report

Ms [redacted] had a fraud alert on her credit file at the time she opened her Ginny's and Seventh Avenue accountsThe companies' records indicate she was contacted in September of to verify her identity before the accounts were approvedIt is the companies' position that Ms [redacted] opened the accounts and is responsible for payment of the balancesFurther, the companies' believe the information furnished to the consumer reporting agencies accurately reflects the payment history and current status of the accounts

Montgomery Ward regrets any inconvenience Ms [redacted] may have experienced as a result of this matterMs [redacted] charge card payments were processed in the same manner as all other payments received by Montgomery WardThe payments submitted by Ms [redacted] on April and April 17, were processed successfullyAll other payments were returned by Montgomery Ward's payment processor with a code stating "Do not honor." Unfortunately Montgomery Ward is unable to provide any additional information regarding the declined paymentsAs a courtesy, Montgomery Ward has credited Ms [redacted] account to remove all late payment feesSince the account was paid in full on May 20, 2015, the credit balance of $created by this adjustment will be refunded to Ms [redacted]

Mr [redacted] opened his Home at Five account in April of with a purchase of just under $The payment plan for Home at Five required a minimum payment of $on a balance up to $and 5% of the Highest New Balance above $Mr [redacted] made regular payments of $for approximately one year before he made a second purchase on his accountThis purchase created a new high balance that exceeded $and increased his payment to $Mr [redacted] failed to make the required minimum payment in the first month after his new purchase, resulting in a late payment feeMr [redacted] resumed making regular payments, but failed to make the required payment in November of and February, March, June, September, November and December of 2016, resulting in the imposition of additional late payment fees As a courtesy to Mr [redacted] , Home at Five has credited his account to remove all late payment feesThis adjustment will appear on his next monthly billing statement and will bring his account currentIf Mr [redacted] wishes to pay his account in full he will need to commit to making regular, timely payments equal to or greater than the minimum payment due
