I am rejecting this response because:Spotloan also contacted me and acknowledged the fact that I did pay my loan and that this second, "defaulted" loan may have been taken out without my knowledge. Any loan I had with them, I paid and I don't appreciate their response stating or implying I don't pay my loans or responsibilities.

I am rejecting this response because:  They can do an identity theft...

investigation, but that has been done and verified by the Fairfield Twp OH Police Dept.  Accounts were either opened or attempted to be opened at 3 separate banks.  Two were opened and have since been closed after proof of identity theft.  I have casually spoken to an attorney, WHO IS NOT INVOLVED IN THE CASE AT THIS TIME.  Their advice is the same as I thought and have requested multiple times.  To date, I received NO communication from Spot Loan.  The enlisted collection companies and I have only gotten phone calls(to my wife's phone and not mine).  They have divulged little to no details for the loan and what was given was verbal only.  Spot Loan needs to provide written documentation of the transaction request, how they decided the loan was approved, ALL personal information they have in their possession, how and where they dispersed the funds, and all documents I signed agreeing to the transaction.  Let me present a scenario...   I am an eye doctor.  What if someone came into my office and used the name of the CEO of Spot Loan.  The personal information given turns out later to be old.  The person gets their glasses and then the insurance says it is not paying as it is a false claim.  I turn over his account to a collection company.  The first calls and says if I pay over double the amount immediately it is settled but if I wait past that day it will be over $5000.  They refuse to provide any details.  Would you pay?  They finally list it they say as noncollectable.   Some months later, another company calls and again refused to provide any significant details.  They went away.  Now months later again, I get a call from someone named Brian from another collection company and won't provide details of his company or the loan.  You tell him this story again.  He says he will try to get it closed but you don't hear from him after multiple email attempts.  [redacted]

Alana contacted me from Spotloan through e-mail today. She explained that they had missed my e-mail and that because they dropped the ball in communication, my loan would be paid in full and satisfied. Please, those that read this, don't think a Revdex.com complaint will get you out of your loan, I was two payments from being completely paid anyway in accordance with the original contract, and had no missed payments other than the one in question due to a pay issue from my employer. You still have to pay your bills like any responsible adult. I think they took a common sense approach and realized they had messed up, and took appropriate action to make sure I was satisfied. At any rate, if Spotloan could increase their effectiveness in communication with the customer, and if I should ever find myself in a position needing a payday loan again (hopefully never) I would consider using them again.

The customer was given the opportunity to review the loan terms -- including interest, duration, payment amount and payment schedule -- in writing before he electronically signed his loan agreement. While this customer’s loan obligations have not yet been fulfilled, Spotloan takes all customer complaints seriously, and we have reached out to this customer directly to address his concerns.

I am rejecting this response because: After speaking with the company they are making an offer to pay additional money and I feel that 490% in interest is well overpayment. According to their records I have paid this debt at least 3 times over. According to my calculation and bank statement it is more like 4 times. The amount I have paid is exorbitant and exceedvthe relm of common sense.

I just want others to see exactly what this company is all about. Of course they accepted what was paid to date and closed my account. They had received over $600 in interest and would have taken another $174 if I chose to not dispute. They prey upon individuals in a financial bind and should be put out of business. My account may be settled, however, I hope that others will see this and choose a different way. THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS!
