Upon default of the loan, we sold the loan to a debt buyer unaffiliated with Spotloan. Although Spotloan is not responsible for the actions of the debt buyer, Spotloan will investigate and share the concerns of the customer directly with the debt buyer. Spotloan takes all customer complaints seriously, and we have reached out to this customer to address her concerns.

Our records indicate that the customer electronically authorizes Spotloan to debit the customer's specified bank account on a monthly basis. Spotloan has not received a credit card payment from the customer and at the time the customer chose to pay via credit card, we were unable to take such payments at that time. Credit card payments are not outlined in the loan agreement and the customer is given the opportunity to review loan terms, including interest, duration, payment methods and schedule. This was completed prior to the customer electronically signing the loan agreement. Spotloan is attempting to resolve this in a way that is fair to both the company and customer.

Our records indicate that on March 16, 2015, this customer sought a loan of $800 from Spotloan. We have responded to each email he sent to us to inform him of how missing payments will affect his payment schedule. We explained how deferring and/or missing payments will add interest to his loan total.
Given the customer's expressed hardship, though, we have reached out to the customer directly to settle the loan.

I am rejecting this response because:
The business is currently gathering information including a confirmation that the fraudulent checking account was opened at [redacted] Bank but not by me. I have been asked for a copy of the police report which I will provide. I will reject their response until I see confirmation that I no longer am liable for this loan.

proceeds.Spotloan has investigated this situation as a priority. Our records indicate that on August 17, 2017, this customer sought a loan of $800 from Spotloan. For the borrower’s protection, Spotloan was unable to deposit the loan proceeds until we verified the identity of the consumer. Once this verification process was completed, the loan proceeds were deposited. However, the banking account information on her application was incorrect. Therefore, there was a delay. However, Spotloan successfully deposited $800 into her account on August 28, 2017.Spotloan believes this issue has been resolved and we have reached out to her directly to address her concerns.

I appreciate how the Revdex.com handled this. I'm satisfied with the answer from the company. Though I do believe that more effort should be made to verify someone before issuing any thing of this sort. Identity theft is a scary thing, I was glad to find out that this was a legitimate business.
There are way to many scammers out there. I would suggest that everyone should if they can afford it. To invest in some sort of identity theft protection. Obviously I have been compromised and have taken steps to insure this does not happen again

I still don’t think this was an acceptable response. Either let me pay off the original amount or revise the 10 months to start at December 1st. Their customer service has been awful.

brand name Spotloan, is a lawful tribal lender and has a valid lending license issued by the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians (Tribe). Spotloan makes all loans from our Reservation and abides by all tribal and applicable federal lending laws. As such, this customer’s loan has been legally issued under the laws of the Tribe.  Prior to taking out a loan from Spotloan, we gave the customer the opportunity to review the loan terms, including interest, duration, payment amount and payment schedule. This was all completed prior to the customer electronically signing the loan agreement. We have contacted the customer directly to address his concerns. We intend to resolve this in a fair and reasonable way.
