Sprint Now Part of T-Mobile Reviews (%countItem)

Sprint lives in ribs off customers. When they when you tell them you’re leaving the jerk you around and tell you if you return your equipment that you only have to pay your existing bill. I was charged the full balance of all equipment which was an iPhone and the iPad as well as my bill. They’re liars and they can’t be they trusted

Absolutely disappointed with how Sprint handled me leaving their cell service. After being a customer for 8 maybe even 9 years I’m stuck with an $1800 all because the customer service is horrible. My phone bill was almost $500 a month with 6 different lines of service - 3 phones, 2 iPads and 1 watch. I called on multiple occasions and asked how to CORRECTLY disconnect my services so this exact problem wouldn’t happen. I even went to a corporate location and had a customer service rep on speaker phone so they associate at the store could correlate with the call center rep on what I needed to do. The in store rep cancelled the 3 phone lines for me in store. I gave back the 3 phones that go with the lines in excellent condition and even paid a cancellation fee for one of the lines. The rep in the store told me to take pictures of everything- just in case - which I still have to the day. After the 3 phone lines were cancelled I was told that the watch line and iPad lines could only be disconnected through the call center. The call center tried to tell me I had a lease on my watch ( which I bought from NFM MYSELF) and they said I had to wait till the end of the month to have everything turned off correctly. As frustrating as that was I just requested a final bill so I could pay whatever I needed to after everything was COMPLETELY OFF. I never heard back from the company and my app was disabled to even see a bill. The next contact I had with anyone was a collection agency stating I owed $1832!
I am incredible disappointed in Sprint for handling my disconnection the way that they have. I’m in the process of trying to buy a house and now my credit is ruined by this collection that isn’t even legit.

False advertising runs rampant in this company. Their ads are so misleading it's done right unethical. Sprint will let there employees do whatever is needed to sell their phones. Whether it's with its misleading ads or deceptive sales employees. I should have stayed at AT&T. Worst decision EVER!

Boost Mobile is a REAL JOKE...was Virgin Mobile, migrating to Boost, spent over 5 hrs on the phone,,3-1/2 today...They have $257 + change in my account, and no service since Jan. 2020. Won't return my $ & won't fix phone. STAY AWAY FROM THIS S__T outfit.

Sprint refused to unlock my phone that I had bought outright. They then charged me an early termination fee... despite the fact that I WASN'T UNDER CONTRACT. Let me be clear, zero paperwork stating I had committed to a 24 month term; no contracts listed under my account page. I had explicitly wanted to not be under contract when I signed up for service; it was the only thing I cared about.
When I terminated my service, they did not disclose a termination fee. They told me my phone (that I bought outright) was ready to take to any service... it's still not unlocked over a week later and 10+ hours on the phone with customer service agents. They were supposed to port my phone number over.... well we'll find out here shortly as I 'm on hold with my new service provider to complete the phone number transfer.
This is not to mention the shady way they cancelled my unlimited data package years ago when they realized they could make a killing off their customers from data overage charges.
So let's be clear, Sprint can cancel your agreement when it no longer suits them, but you.... you're stuck paying for things that were never in your contract.

I've been trying to leave sprint since December 2019. After making me jump through hoops, I paid $218.86 on February 27, 2020. The operator told me it was my last bill (aside from the remaining balance on my leased iphone which was $90). I already switched carriers and everything. They're still trying to charge me $343 in April for past due charges. I don't even use sprint anymore. They're trying to nickel and dime me but I won't have it. This company is the absolute worst.

On April 10, 2020, I posted a negative review regarding non-reimbursement of "Account Balance" funds. Since that post, Sprint (who owns Boostmobile, who took over VirginMobile) has arranged a full refund of my $140 account balance on file when I closed my Boost (previously VirginMobile) account. They have reacted responsibly and fairly, though it took a bit of work on my part. Thank you, Sprint, for making this issue right.

My Boost LG Stylo 4 had quit taking a charge. Found this location, 1 mile away. Upon arriving, due to Covid19, there were taped off lines on floor. Man behind plexiglas wall said I had to stand behind line not to approach the counter. I am 70, 5' tall, short arms, mobility disabled. Couldn't touch counter when leaning, so asked how was I to give him my phone to look at. He said I had to stay behind line. So tossed my phone on to counter where it slid across & on to floor. Man side armed phone back out to past me in store, hitting face down on wall & floor. Chipped both bottom corners of my glass screen protector off and cracked screen. Then refused me service. This verges on elder abuse. Not a pleasant experience. Would never go there again or recommend store!

Sprint is terrible. 18 month lease to own your phone is a scam. when you finish the lease they tell you you can finish paying off the phone by either making one large payment towards your phone or split the payment up over 6 months. they automatically start charging you a monthly payment towards the phone, but never tell you its basically an infinite monthly charge towards your phone. its assumed this payment is being applied towards your phone, but it is not. Since I didn't log into my account and click that id like to pay monthly payments im basically paying another 6 months for a phone. when you contact customer service they just repeat the same thing to you over and over that my payment was a rental fee and its my fault that I didn't choose to apply the payment towards my lease. Sprint is purposely misleading customers and overcharging them. I would never recommend this terrible company to anyone and I would rather not have a phone than ever use their service again. They would have zero stars, but im forced to leave one. Also you pay as much money a month for their cell service as any of their competitors, but get the worst reception of ever had.

I've been a Sprint customer for 20+ years. Although I've just lived with the poor service and severely lacking customer service, Sprint giving phone numbers off of my cell phone bill to companies is about as bad as you can get in my book. How else are people that I call, but not related to receive phone calls for me? Isure haven't given any company their phone number! They're about to lose a long standing customer. I can go to Walmart and get treated better.

Easily the worst company I have ever done business with. Terrible customer service. I dealt with customer service for three hours this morning to resolve absolutely nothing. I have always been given the runaround with Sprint. I had insurance on my device so my phone would only be $29.99 for a replacement if broken. I changed over to Verizon and I was charged $260 for a damage fee when I shipped my phone back to them. All these years on auto withdrawal and never late on a payment and this? Nothing they would do for me. They said I should have made a claim before sending it back. I am sure it will go to collections if I don't pay them what they want. I can't stop thinking how disgusted I am about this.

I wish I could give Zero Stars as 1 star is more than they deserve. I called Sprint to cancel a temporary phone number that was set up in Feb 2019. I called to cancel in March 2019 and again in April 2019 since the line wasn't being cancelled.. I called 2-3 times and was told it was being cancelled. The phone line continued to billed to me through April 2020 when I finally discovered the additional billing (because I had another Sprint account - it went undetected for that timeframe). I did confirm that that phone number was confirmed that it was cancelled in 2019 but that the billing was continued.
When I called to inquire about the refund - and spent 1.5 hrs on the phone with them, I was told they would submit for the refund and I would be notified 3-5 days. I never received notification and when I followed up, I was told my refund was denied.
Long story short, I am still pursuing the refund and will pursue the theft from my bank account with the authorities if need be. The customer service at this organization and or lack there of, is abominable. How someone could view the facts of the case and see that the phone was cancelled but the billing wasn't stopped and deny the refund is ridiculous and simply contributing to the theft from this organization. All in al, I wasted and am continuing to waste precious hours of my life to fight something that so simply should be a no brainer and refunded to the customer.
I have absolute displeasure with this company and am considering switching all my phone/phone plan to another company who might not steal from me.

Sprint is no better than a common thief. If this is how I conducted myself in the business world, I would be homeless & living on the streets. How is it that they are allowed to conduct business this way. Everyone I know is now switching to VERIZON. I will make my life's work to destroy the reputation of Sprint I have a new job to persuade everyone to move to VERIZON. I will pay people to move on from sprint. I would be happy to buy out peoples phones, just to switch. There is no room in this world for this kind of behavior. How is it our government allows businesses to conduct themselves like this without any consequences? If you or I acted this way we would be thrown in jail or end up prison.

How to explain that a company would turn your phone off in today's situation..
That is very childish and embarrassing on a company..being with sprint for 16yrs and come to find that the world is in a crisis and the first thing SPRINT CARES ABOUT IS MONEY..
That's sad..

They try to get over on their customers by trying to double charge on things. Then don’t want to resolve the issue or come to an agreement. Sprint is a money hungry company and I will not consider for anyone to do service with them.

As a convenience, I would add 3 months' worth into my "Account Balance" to easily pay for the succeeding months. I did it again in early March (added $105 to the existing $35) while my account was still with VirginMobile (they were in the middle of a migration to Boostmobile, but my account had not yet been migrated, apparently). A few days later, my cell phone died. While researching a replacement, I opted to switch carriers (to xfinity). When the switchover happened, Boostmobile refused to refund my unspent and unearned (by them) $140 account balance! They never earned that money and never provided a service for it. They basically stole it and said that it was nonrefundable because I cancelled their service. What, then, is the point of keeping an Account Balance? Had I ever suspected I could lose it, I would have NEVER added money. I feel completely cheated, and no amount of intelligent, well-considered discussions has moved them an inch off of their position. I feel like it's theft and a scam. I am hoping something can be done so other consumers are not cheated the way I have been. (I would give it zero stars if that was an option.)

They deserve -stars. I spent a decade with Sprint as my carrier then changed, after many billing issues and extra charges with no explanation in the last year. After ceasing service Sprint sent me a box to return a device that was "leased" and a bill which stated if I paid the whole bill I would own the device. I paid the bill and now own the device, you would think? No Sprint will not release my phone off of their service, in fact the "Supervisor" at the call center I spent hours on the phone with told me that it is the FCCs fault and that Sprint could do nothing for me as they only provided the network. Funny... Because the network IS the issue.

If I could give sprint zero stars, I would. My boyfriend and I bought an iPhone 8 from our local sprint store and even put down a large downpayment of $582 so we can pay off the phone faster. Fast forward a year later, well after the phone should have been paid off and we knew something wasn’t right, we finally find out that they signed us up for an 18 month lease which they NEVER MENTIONED or informed us about. They never even gave us any paper work detailing out “purchase” in fact I don’t even remember them giving us a receipt that day. Sprint, you cost us a lot of money by committing FRAUD. You just lost some loyal customers and I will spread the word to warn others. If you live in Chico Ca, don’t go to the sprint store on Mangrove Avenue. They make it clear they don’t care about their customers, they’re just there for the paycheck and the sad amount of commission they can make off of scamming people out of their hard earned money.

I need a -10 star rating to do Sprint justice. Sprint has its head up its posterior, especially when it comes to billing. They cannot, apparently, do something as simple as change credit cards or set the auto-pay to a new credit card without failing miserably and turning the customer over to a collections agency for Sprint's stupidity. DO NOT USE Sprint! Ever!! Try CREDO Mobile instead--cheaper AND better!

I am NOT a sprint customer, nor have I ever done any business with sprint. However, unfortunately I have had my cellular phone that I purchased NEW in the box from Verizon on 7/1/2018 disabled or blacklisted by These CLOWNS. Again, I own this device and I have had continuous cellular service with Verizon since 1992. Somehow sprig decided on 3/23/20 that they would STEAL the IMEI # of my device and activate one of their customers devices using my phones number.
Then sprout reported my IMEI stolen (from me by you is) and blacklisted my device so now 8 days later my phone doesn’t work.
Now, one might then believe that contacting spring would quickly resolve this issue since they clearly have no right to steal or render my property useless. I suspected Sprint, being a member of the cellular oligopoly, being aware of the consequences of fraud and litigation would resolve this absolutely within a few minutes, followed by massive amounts of apologies and perhaps even one of those fancy yellow caps with their logo on its way to my home with flowers and accolades for bringing their error to light. By the way, who came up with that logo? Is it feathers, straw? Probably nepotism? Before I get too far off topic, there were none of the previously mentioned gratuities, instead I was treated to more than two hours on the phone only to be told someone would be in touch. Now you might wonder what kind of is would spend this amount of time on hold with only a few cherished seconds of majestic semi-understandable dialect; that would be me. Before you judge, remember that I was holding out hope for the parade and the keys to Overland Park for my heroic act of selflessness.
If you’re still reading this you’re likely on hold with sprint (Brown Telecom) and like I was, wishing you were getting a root canal instead of waiting for the next 3 second briefing before more holding. Do yourself a favor and hang up now, call the FCC at *** to make a formal complaint.
To the Brown family, I’m sorry your legacy is gone.
Best of luck- Kevin
