Sprint Now Part of T-Mobile Reviews (%countItem)

So I was with Sprint over 20 years. I had voice stream In 1995 and then they switched to Nextel, then became Sprint. I was a long time customer, even with the terrible phone service , lack of towers. The customer service was always excellent until recently. I got tired of paying over 430.00 a month for phone service that barely worked. So recently I switched to another phone service and immediately I noticed the difference. I also saved over 200 a month. Then I got my final bill which was over 1,200.00. They told me by bill was suppose to be about 960.00. Which is still ridiculous but there was nothing I could do. So I tried reaching out to sprint, and took over a week for them to reach out. The person that called me to discuss the matter just started arguing with me not letting me finish my what I was trying to tell him. Now I see why Sprint is the lowest of the 4 top cell phone companies and people are continuing to leave. At first I wasn’t sure if I was making the right decision but after this experience I
know I did. I didn’t even get a phone call from sprint to ask why I left or what they could have done to get me back. Well I hope my experience will help others. It’s really sad and a shame that Sprint did this to a loyal customer.

As everyone else mentioned, Sprint engaged in unethical business practices. They completely mischaracterized their plans to me. They said that I would get a buy one get one free, what they did NOT tell me was that the buy one, get one free plan only last 18 months despite the monthly fee for the phone being for 24 months. Not only that, but if you do not buy the remaining 6 months out of the lease, you do NOT get to keep your phone. And they had the audicity to tell me this was clearly explained on page 7 of user device, which no one reads nor do they give you the time to read before you sign and they act as if they are telling you the truth of the plan when they are selling the phones. Then I asked to cancel two of my four lines on November 26, 2019 and continued to charge me for all four lines in December. I have spent HOURS of my very limited time trying to get them to remove these charges. They are disgusting. While they may be cheaper in theory, given their unfair practices, you end up paying more anyway. I will be switching carriers as soon as my phone is paid off.

After taking my phone for repair 12/30 having parts ordered never receiving a call when parts came in came in independently on 1/3 after calling on 1/2 parts had arrived but didn't receive a call left my phone repair completed on 1/3 unable to pick up phone but didn't receive a call that it was unrepairable found out on 1/5. Called customer service explaining that the only option was to upgrade but I requested that one time fee be billed I was told it was not available after 18 years of service since 2002 I am questioning if sprint is the best option. Also customer service was difficult because reps accent was so strong I could understand had to keep asking fir clarity.

I think it should be against the law to charge for services that arent out yet, im being charged extra for a 5g plan, 5g isnt available yet, but im still paying for the service

Awful and deceitful company.make sure your covered in your area before buying

I have been a Sprint customer since 2005. Two weeks ago I called in to upgrade my IPhone 10 to IPhone 11 Pro Max. I was told that I am eligible for a promotion in which I could pay off my phone for $250.00 and trade it in so I could lease a IPhone ProMax 11 for $16.99, IPhone11 Pro for 14.99 a month or IPhone 11 for $0.00 a month.
I was told this by 2 different sales persons.
I called in last night to complete the upgrade and was transferred several times and disconnected 3 times without a single call back.
I finally spoke to a sales rep who confirmed that I was eligible for this promotion and was in the process of completing my order when we got disconnected again. No one called me back and it was not 11:pm at night and I needed to go to bed since I have to work in the morning.
I called Sprint sales back this morning and they said the promotion expired last night so there is nothing they can do to help me. I spoke to 7 different customer care and sales people today and still none will help me. I was also disconnected 4 times today without a single call back. What kind of service is that?? It is absolutely unacceptable and cannot believe a company who is in the customer service business would treat people like this. I want the promotion I was offered and nothing less. I even have a reference# for this promotion.
Sprint does not give a crap about their customers and makes false promises. I will be changing over to VERIZON.

I came in with my girlfriend last night we were kicked out of the store and had the worst customer service experience.after paying several hundred for new phones. I do not recommend sprint to anyone. The one percent really goes a long way.

Went to the sprint store at ***. Already researched what phone I wanted and wanted to get in and out as quickly as possible. I am recovering from an accident and standing too long causes severe pain. They would not sell me the phone I wanted and started high pressure sales trying to get me to buy a much more expensive phone. I could no longer endure the pain from standing too long and bought a different phone than the one I wanted. Worst shopping experience I have ever endured, getting a different carrier. 1 star is way overrated for Sprint but no other option.

STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM SPRINT! Liars, customer service is horrendous and their "lease" plan is a complete scam.

After being with Sprint wireless for 5 years I finally decided to make the move to AT&T. The reason for making the move is that Sprint has poor network quality in my home town. The reason for this poor review is the time it took holding on the phone with customer service. Once the customer service team found out I was terminating service, they transferred me between departments and kept me on the phone for over an hour. This is complete harassment and a total lack of proper customer service. Sprint should be ashamed of how they're handling customer service and embarrassed as a company. Now I feel even better about changing providers.

Poor service. Poor customer service. They have lied to me many times. They even cancelled my service because I complained too much and I ended up with. $1500 bill. No wonder they had to sell to someone else.

This company does nothing but LIE. I was told I could turn in my old phone and upgrade to a new one regardless of the shape of the phone for no charge, but I was charged $149 for "damage". I was told that I had a credit on my bill of $350 on Monday but on Wednesday I get a BILL for $250. I have been mislead constantly by this company. I would never suggest anyone ever use this company and I am doing my best to tell everyone I know how awful they are. Service is terrible, customer service is even worse. They mislead you when telling you about "sales" or "promotions" - Don't believe anything they tell you. DO NOT USE this company

I am leaving a 1 star rating as I am not given the option to leave a zero or ¼ star rating on this website.
I am going to tell you upfront I was a loyal customer to Sprint for 10 + years. Despite never ever getting any kind of reward for it all my bill did was go up and up and up.
Let’s talk about the list of issues I had and am still having with Sprint.
1) Go to the corporate store to get a new phone and tablet in early 2017. Service is horrible where I live because they have had a tower outage for over a year where I live. They refuse to fix it and tell us so when we complain.
2) I switch to Verizon on Oct. 25th, 2019. I am informed I need to turn my Note 8 into a corporate store. No big deal I take it and drop it off at the cooperate store on Harmony Road. I am thinking at this point my Sprint account is closed, the phone is turned in and my contract with them is cancels. I think this way because my Phone and Phone number are on Verizon now. Well that is not how Sprint sees it. I guess you have to send them a court order to cancel your service or they keep charging you for it. I found that out the hard way as its 2 months later and they are still charging me not only for service but also the lease on the phone I turned in. They have also billed me and accessed my checking account and taken $240 to pay off the phone. Now it is legal mine. Please keep reading
3) I tried to talk to them and it was just a horrible mind blowing experience. Had no answers for me as to how this could happen all the crazy guy would do is read from his script. I ask to talk to a English speaking supervisor and was put on hold for an hour and finally gave up.
4) Now I did retrieve the phone from the Sprint store and I was also told they were preparing to sale it to a Sprint customer. I told them if they I would be calling CSP and reporting it stolen and would not only be filing charges against Sprint but the person who purchased the phone for receiving stolen goods.
5) Let’s talk about the tablet. The corporate store told me it was a lease tablet and the corporate 800 number keep telling me it was mine. So I did terminate that line without any problems.
Now let’s talk about the rating of sprint on the Revdex.com site which Sprint doesn’t care out of 1063 including my rating. They have 1026 one star ratings ad people have said they wish they could give the a 0 star rating which isn’t allow. Why won’t the Revdex.com give them an accreditation?
With all of this being said I would suggest from my personal experience that EVERYONE STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!

Sprint the following unlawful actions have occurred:
• I was told if I got 5 lines vs 2, my payment would not be over $140, in fact I was told my bill would be $80 to $100 monthly. I agreed to get 5 lines.
• I was told I would receive $500.00 to my bank account, for being federal credit union member, which I have been a member for over 17yrs. I never and yet to receive that to my account.
• I was told to trade in my iPhone 6 (device amount $800) and I would get my new iPhone 7 free. I made the trade.
• I was told my At&t balance would be paid off by Sprint. The balance was NOT paid. The amount of $406.33 was actually sent to collections, and remains. The creditor collector is:
***
• I was NEVER told nor is it listed on my printed contract that the devises were leased
• I have made several attempts with sprint customer service and have had zero resolution
I am requesting that the error be corrected, that any finance and other charges related to the disputed amount be credited as well, and that I receive an accurate statement.
investigate this matter and correct the billing error as soon as possible. This will be my last attempt to working with Sprint, before going to the media and my lawyer for help with this matter.

NEVER GO TO THIS STORE. The manager, Jordan G, is a lier and I feel utterly scammed. When I went back the next day it was as if I was treated like an unwanted bug, I was a bother to them as no one wanted to help me. I am a very nice and professional person and the quality of customer service is such a joke I would never recommend this store to anyone.
I bought a new IPhone 11 and they didn’t tell me it was not the same 128GB I had now, so they offered to order the other one and advised that the $50 screen protector and $60 case would be fine for the new phone when it arrived. Told me to come back the next day so they could do return of new phone and start order for larger GB Iphone 11. Upon going next day they said they threw away my otter box for the phone I gave them the night before by accident (I was advised to pick it up and return 64GB Iphone for 128 GB iphone). Then they said I would have to pay another $50 for a new screen. The second part wasn’t as frustrating until I heard one of the reps tell a client who just got there that there was a long wait and they would offer a free screen protector if they wanted to come back later as a courtesy for the inconvenience... like what!?!? Now it’s a week till I get the new phone and I don’t have an otter box to protect my current iPhone so pray that nothing happens to it as I have had one on it since I left the store with it originally.
Thank god I have a return policy (that hopefully they will acknowledge more than my presence on site) as I have already shopped with other service providers and will happily choose to spend my money elsewhere. If you have to go to a Sprint store, don’t go to the one on Del Prado and definitely don’t talk to Jordan.

I have a couple cell phones with the carrier called Sprint. Sprint allowed my husband who has a sickness and wasn’t in his right mind to order two very expensive devices under my name. They justify this by saying because he had the answer to my security question is why they allowed him full access to my a account although they knew it wasn’t me.Apparently even if the person is not a signer on the account At all, sprint doesn’t care so long as that person can verify your account with your PIN number or your answer to your security question. These two apple iPad devices were then delivered to my apartment and once I realized what had happened I reported the issue and went through plenty of drama to try and get this whole thing fixed. I feel so unprotected as a customer with this company and the service the whole way was horrible. And They do not especially understand the customers side of the story which can come off frustrating but they instead deescalating they seem to always escalate the matter making it even worse. Be very wary doing business with this company.

Customer Response • Dec 27, 2019

Moreover, I am completely stressed because I have been to multiple sprint stores who gave me so much drama and the service is I guess sprint quality horrible. All I am trying to do is return the devices that were ordered without my consent and this is even turning out to be a huge challenge for this company and a great hassle for me. I would like to have these devices returned before they try to charge me and tell me it’s to late to Get them returned which I would hope that this not ultimately maybe there devious Plan.

Sprint gave me false information about a second phone being free of charge. Free device and plan, mislead me into thinking it is an offer I've earned for being a long time sprint customer. Upon receiving my first bill, which I received after a month, the amount the representative at the store told me did not match with the bill. I called sprint customer service and found out the phone is not free and I've been paying a small amount towards it for one year and then it would increase by 8 times after that. After making over 10 calls and hours on each call speaking to multiple representatives and supervisors, they refuse to admit that their representative gave me false information. To conclude this issue I asked them to cancel the second line and I agreed to pay the remaining balance on the device by charging my account( even though this is plain robbery). The sprint representative cancelled the line over the phone and we agreed that I can drop this phone off at a nearby sprint corporate store. I go to the store and they refuse to take the phone in without a payment. I told them about my conversation with a sprint customer service rep. and even gave them a reference number. They plainly refused having to do anything with customer service team and did not even make an effort to use the reference number or even call the customer service. They told me to come back after middle of January 2020 to return the phone. As a customer I've been lied to and robbed of my money and still played with my time without any remorse. Sprint as a business has absolutely no business ethics. They do not care about their customers. For all potential Sprint customers please read every single document they ask you to sign on, even if it takes a longer time in the store. Free does not mean free, never take their word for it.

STAY AWAY FROM SPRINT!!! I had been warned and I wish I would’ve listened! They offer great incentives to sign up and then add hidden fees! My second bill doubled and I didn’t get a clear answer as to why. I spent over an hour with customer service only to have no resolution! I can’t wait until I pay off my device to cancel service with them. Truly disappointed!

The worst experience I've ever had as a customer. From moment I went to store to pick up phone. Month later still waiting on a refund.

I am not able to leave a review unless I use 1 star. This company has by far the worst customer service than any other cell service.....Can you hear me now!! This guy jumped in to the wrong boat. Since we are living in a technology world this is what we are stuck with. The large companies with more cell towers so that we get all that we pay for. Well with Sprint you get nothing that you pay for and as soon as your bill gets too low or they need to offer better deals to new customers, they retire your plan and charge you more for the plan that you have this is so that they can cover the cost for the new customers. You can stay with this company for years and they will never treat you as a Loyal Customer. You will always have an issue with your billing and customer service is so bad you literally have to quit your job to stay on the phone for days for them to correct the issue and even when you do they still get it wrong. They get you on the phone and get you all upset in hopes that you will hang up and never call them back. I have found that the best way to collect your information and what is said in the phone calls is to chat online so you can get the transcript. Even then when you have the proof the company still does not believe what you say. I know that other choices are not that great out there, but if you can DO NOT USE SPRINT FOR YOUR CELL SERVICE.
