I am rejecting this response because:I am not cancelling this trip due to any old circumstances. It truly is a matter of a family emergency, surely there has to be exceptions for such an event. I have been a long time customer and I can't believe that there is absolutely no way to modify or refund this reservation due to extenuating circumstances. I think that is poor customer service on part of Priceline.com.

At the top of the screen shot, which was provided by the
consumer, is listed the [redacted] Hotel reservation option at $58/night. As
noted, this is an Express Deals
reservation option and not a Name Your Own Price reservation option.
Express Deals options disclose the purchase price.
At the bottom of the screen shot, which was provided by the
consumer, is listed the [redacted] at $71/night. As
noted, this is a Published Price reservation
option and not a Name Your Own Price reservation option. Published Price
options disclose the purchase price.
At the center of the screen shot, which was  provided by the consumer, is an option to
click on a Name Your Own Price option: Name Your Own Price Upgrade to a
3 star hotel for a 2 star price
- GO.  Once the consumer clicks GO, and selects
the Name Your Own Price option, the consumer accesses the Name Your Own Price
website,  and is prompted to enter an offer price and other important information.
Once the consumer enters the offer price and other important
information, the consumer is presented with a contract page, again displaying
the information provided by the consumer, including the offer price. The consumer
is then asked to review the contract page and authorize the purchase by
initialing the contract page.  With Name
Your Own Price reservations, the consumer, and not Priceline, provides the
offer price.

All rooms will accommodate up to 2 adults. Requests for bed types (King, Queen, 2

Reservation is guaranteed for arrival on the confirmed check-in
date only. If you do not
check-in on the first day of your reservation and you do not
alert the hotel in

If priceline accepts your price, priceline will book your
reservation in a property with
an equal or higher star level than you requested. Please note it
is possible that the
hotel you are booked in could be a Resort, which will meet or
exceed the minimum
qualifications of the star level you initially requested.
The hotel that is selected may or may not be one that you have
seen during a hotel
search on priceline. Any sorting or filtering options previously
used will not apply to
this Name Your Own Price request. Priceline will immediately
charge your credit card
the total cost of your stay. Rooms purchased through priceline
can not be cancelled,
changed or transferred and refunds are not allowed. If your
offer is not accepted, your
credit card will not be charged.
The reservation holder must present a valid photo ID and credit
card at check-in. The
credit card is required for any additional hotel specific
service fees or incidental
charges or fees that may be charged by the hotel to the customer
at checkout. These
charges may be mandatory (e.g., resort fees) or
optional (parking, phone calls or
minibar charges) and are not included in your offer price.
Hotel rooms purchased through priceline are not eligible for
frequent traveler points,
upgrades, vouchers, or other discounts and incentives.

I am rejecting this response because: I have attempted to contact [redacted] Airways at (312)843-5794 but every time I try their offices are closed. Their hours are 9 am to 3pm. I last tried on 7/28/16 at 2:09pm and their automated message stated they were already closed for the day. I have the phone records detailing this. Also ,it is now greater than 8 weeks (actually 59 days) since I originally contacted Priceline for the refund on June 3rd. Obviously , the executive offices are disregarding their original verbal agreement of 4 to 6 weeks for a refund and now are not honoring their 6 to 8 weeks for a refund. I really am upset that they can continually delay the refund by repetitively stating it can take up to 8 weeks when that time frame has already been exceeded . It is shameful. Hopefully with the Revdex.com and some other interventions I will get a more respectable response.
