Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:.I gave you all the information you requestedPhones numbers of surgeon, doctors and hospitalI understand your policesHowever, a $refund of a $fare is an insult to a regular customer who has a Priceline credit card, in good standingThis is totally wrongPreviously, I have never cancelled a flightI have never purchased flight insuranceWith my past flight history; I have never needed those servicesI asked if those monies could be utilized for a future flightNo cooperation from youI had serious surgery on my spineI cancelled as soon as I received a surgery dateThis is extremely poor handling of a customer who had a good intentionsIf this measly offering is the best you you can do, I will tear up my credit card, contact the local media, and never do business with you againThis is a lose-lose situation for your companyI lose money and the tickets are sold elsewhereVery shabby business practices from a large companyIt is unbelievable that you would treat a customer like this[redacted] Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: the name of the booking service I used on Priceline is "Name Your Own Price"It isn't "Name your own price but maybe pay more and have no way to cancel that"Mandatory charges should be shown to bidders before the bid is accepted and final/not-cancellableIt was no secret that this hotel charges a mandatory hotel feeThey should not have been an option for Name Your Own Price for that reasonI have booked rooms using this feature on Priceline for years and have never encountered mandatory fees beforeA search of news coverage on this topic shows that they are becoming increasingly prevalent and Priceline should modify it's service to make customers more aware of them in advanceSeveral stories by major news outlets have reported this as a customer issuePriceline should take leadership on insuring their users are aware of these fees and allowed to withdraw a bid because of them Sincerely, [redacted] ***
