I have a Stash Invest account and have been with the company for two years. I have recently been experiencing financial difficulties and needed to pull money from my investment account to pay bills. I had previously had my account linked to a bank account that has since been closed. A phone rep assisted me in changing my linked account and I was able to successfully pull funds. This was after several attempts to resolve the issue through the app and email assistance. A week after resolving my request my account was locked. I have now for two months been emailing and submitting documents to unlock my account and recently received and email response from Geeta which stated 'we are unable to verify your iden and your account remains locked' with no explanation or further course of action for accessing my money. I see that I am not the first person with this complaint and will be reaching out to my attorney as I'm in no position to wait several months (as noted by other complainants) to access my funds. What's worse is that customer service has no access to the digital bureacrats in the operations department who are responsible for doing this to so many people. These are irresponsible and frankly illegal business practices and I am willing to start a class action lawsuit against this company for effectively stealing from their consumers. Stash needs to be shut down!

I have closed my retirement account and have been trying to get funds from the company. I have spoken to several different people who have continually given me a set of instructions that yield no results. I am considering contacting my attorney and the SEC to take further action.

I have closed my retirement account and have been trying to get funds from the company. I have spoken to several different people who have continually given me a set of instructions that yield no results. I am considering contacting my attorney and the SEC to take further action.

I have contacted Stash several times to close my account and no one answers their customer service line. They continue to charge me $1 per month for the account.

I used to use Stash and would make investments, before closing my account. Turns out they never actually closed the account, and have charged me $36.04 since 8//2018 (small increments so I did not notice, and ranging from 1-5$). I noticed this during this statement and saw they had opened a subscription for me, so I went to hit cancel and it says "Are you sure?" then only give the option to call them. Which I have, during their hours of operation for days with no response.

My information was obtained through their system and $1500 was taking from my account through Stash transfers, I called the company 4 times and was given the run around, they assured me the "fraud department" would contact me but they never did. The only thing I received was a generic email template that said "it has come to our attention that your stash account MY have been compromised... Are you kidding me, they had a data breach where someone was able to access my home address because they changed it, my phone number, my social security number and my bank account info and I did not even get a simple apology and some sort of plan for resolution, this is unacceptable and I will go to every length possible to get my situation heard and addressed

My account was hacked into and I was notified through email. I received email saying that my account password was changed and that someone was successfully logged into my account. I provided this information to Stash and requested to have my account closed immediately. They refused to close my account for their own personal investigation and claim to be contacting me shortly. Leaving my account open makes me susceptible to the same security issues this company is inept at handling, as shown through the need fo conduct an investigation for days. I am being put at risk for their own interests and lack of sufficient and efficient systems/policies.

Works when it works, but customer service is TERRIBLE when it doesn’t. They locked me out of all three of my accounts for an unknown reason. I submitted a help ticket. They say they’ll respond in 24 hours, but for the last week I just have been getting emails saying they have a high volume and they’ll get to me soon. They then give an 800 number if it’s an emergency. I finally called that number today, to which it tells me that no customer service representatives are available and to “call back later.” Not acceptable for a business, but especially one dealing with people’s money.

Stash has stolen my money and upon contacting customer service they repeat the same things to me. Upload documentation of my bank statement and they'll unlock my account. Not only have I waited MONTHS but I've never once spoken with a real rep, they only allow you to talk to robots,and in that time since my account is locked I've been unable to do anything with my investments and have watched them dwindle into nothing. I'm spending the day making reviews everywhere and demanding a PERSON from stash get ahold of me asap. I will be filing multiple suits against this company.

I made an account on the app Stash back in January 2016. I invested $20 in the app, and eventually cashed out my money when I got bored a few months later in July 2016, and then deleted the app. On 7/*/201Stash sent me an email with the subject line ‘More transparent pricing is on the way.’ The email contained the following message: “It’s gone as of Aug. *** 201*! We updated our Advisory Agreement so you’ll now pay a flat monthly fee1 for your Stash—no matter how big it grows.“ That email went unread by me, because I hadn’t used the app Stash since July 2016. Without my consent or agreement, they signed my account up for a monthly subscription service of $1.00 per month, even though my account had went unused for 3 years. I was charged $1.00 on 8/*/1*, */*/1*, 12/3/1and 1/*/20. I can actually noticed the pending charge on 1/*/20, contacted their company and spoke to a representative, who said she would cancel my pending charge and my account in general. The charge still went through, and every time I’ve tried to contact them since has been unsuccessful.

I made an account on the app Stash back in January 2016. I invested $20 in the app, and eventually cashed out my money when I got bored a few months later in July 2016, and then deleted the app. On 7/*/201Stash sent me an email with the subject line ‘More transparent pricing is on the way.’ The email contained the following message: “It’s gone as of Aug. *** 201*!
