I have been trying to cancel my Stash account for over a month to no avail. I am told to cancel though my Stash account but when I click the link it direct you to call the *** number no one answers the phone. When you email you get an automated reply with the same instructions to cancel through your account! I have done this now for about a month and no one from Stash has responded or follow through with my request. I simply want the account close immediately!

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

This is really a joke from Stash! No one answers the phone listed for stash and they have locked the account so there is no access to it. All they need to do is close my account that should not be so technical. Sending me an email is pointless and just a way to say they reached out to the client!! This is absurd??

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved. I am waiting on the written doc to arrive in the the mail to finalize the satisfactory process. Thank you for your help in this matter, much appreciated!

It started off with me transferring money from my bank account to their stash app.. I invested like 1,300... After the first few times I put money in.. The next few times seemed long for my money to transfer over. So I didnt know how long the process till it transfers so I canceled it and resent it. Did that a few times and they locked and froze my account. I emailed them and called their customer service. I sent them the paperwork bank statement and my id that they asked for. Now they saying my bank statement is photoshopped and giving me excuses. Now next day I cant even get a hold of customer service representative and their email is automated. Right when I text them an email their computer automatically send me an co.puterized automated text. I read about their reviews and see they have many similar same complaint thats happening to me right now. They are a scam company. Scamming many people.

Total Scam. I downloaded the Stash app a couple of months ago. After providing them my Checking account and routing numbers, as well as password and user name to my bank account, they were unable to link my bank account and I couldn't invest in anything. I tried 2 days ago and I was able to successfully link my bank account, but they then locked my account and said I needed to upload a photo of my bank statement to unlock as well as provide them an explanation as to why they were unable to link to my bank account and explained that it was on their end. I sent the requested document, but they still kept my account locked. I messaged and told them to immediately delete my banking account info and my Stash account. They sent me an email telling me to go on the website and delete. I followed the directions and after clicking through multiple popups trying to direct me to stay instead of deleting my account, I clicked the final delete bank account, only to receive the same "this action is restricted" popup that had been coming up with the app any time I tried to click on an investment. I demanded again through a message to customer service that they delete and refund the $1 monthly membership that they have been charging me since I first signed up (funny how they couldn't link my account, but were still able to use it to charge me a monthly fee). As of yet, I have only received a second copy of the same likely automated email with directions to delete my account, which their website won't let me do.

Scam !!!!!
I loaded the app and started entering my info including my credit card number. I did not get to finish setting up my account completely but the next day they had already charged me money on my credit card. I knew right away this was a scam . Called and told them to cancel my account and erase my credit card and info . They said they had to keep my info on file for 6 years because that was a law. So I had to cancel my credit card.

I was discriminated against by Stash because I’m trying to use my mobile check deposit and I can’t. So I call customer service and they tell me that the only way to use the mobile check deposit is by verifying my number, identity, account and direct deposit. So I signed up for direct deposit and like in all companies it takes some time. But I need to have 4 direct deposits in 70 days. I told customer service that that’s impossible for me because I get paid once a month. They continued by saying that that is their requirement and that’s business. So I state back to them that I feel discriminated against because I’m already paying for the service via a service fee and now. I need to fit a certain criteria in order to better use the service. All in all they don’t care because it’s business. They only care about making money with a percentage of people who fit their criteria. “Not mobile banking and investing for all just for some”.

Stash is holding my complete withdrawal. Hard to trust a company that's willing to quickly take and not return in the same way.

I've been using the service for a month now. I have seen positive growth in my personal and retirement account very similar to the risks in my company 401k and my State retirement funds. I have the debit card and it works very well. I earn penny stocks in return for my purchases. I litterally use this every day. I download my documentation for my transactions several times a week, I get my monthly statements, and I have found the process enjoyable. I have a peice of mind knowing that I am saving for my family and putting my money to work. Did I have doubts at first, yes. Do I still have a few, yes. But in all the process has been smooth. Understanding their system is easy. Your personal stock purchases come right from your bank account as does the start up cash for your retirement accounts. I control 100% of what goes into my account, I do not auto stash because I don't have enough free income to do such at the moment. The only reason I haven't given it a 5 is because I need more time to interact with the interface to have a full understanding of the transfer system. I keep my emails from them in regards to my purchases and sales and notifications to cover myself if nessicary. Every thing you use comes with a risk, there is risk involved here but you also have to research what you are doing in order to navigate it.

After I closed my Stash Debit card account with Stash they refuse to send my remaining balance,
First, the customer representative said I do not have an account with them.
After I called them twice, they said before my account is close, no one can access the account.
Finally, they said they found my account, but the transactions were missing.
Stash owes me $229.76. Account ending #

I have been investing with with stash for about 3 months starting in the middle of February of this year I had some questions about how share of stocks that I purchased and wanted to sell some I asked which share would get sold they informed me on a recored phone call that I would Keep the Share that was purchased at the lowest cost per share when I sold the other share which was way more costly per share then the original purchased share they sold the less cost per share. Stash also advertises on there website that they offer a stash debit card and it is not a prepaid card but when trying to add to *** pay its recognized as a prepaid card and *** was professionally courteous enough to contact stash and when they did multiple representatives said yes stash debit is a prepaid I personally feel thats false advertising ive spoke to them in beginning of February they still have not contacted me. Now I sold 354.00 dollars shares and February 25 2020 and still have not received the settled funds I called today and literally got no information the agents kept repeating I dont know theres nothing I can do I asked her to initiate a investigation I was not provided any claim number are reference number. This company is not providing a professional atmosphere for there customers. I made multiple attempts to speak with a senior level management member and the agents state theres no access to speak to a senior level manager In short Stash has over 350.00 dollors of mine and no agent will provide information of were and how to retrieve it.
