Review: Stellar Recovery has listed a collection account on my credit reports with a current balance of $0. I do not know anything about this account. They have never contacted me in fashion to give me an opportunity to dispute this account or inquire further about it's merits.Desired Settlement: I request that Stellar recovery take one of the following actions:1. Remove this item completely from my credit reports.2. Send me a letter in compliance with the section 809 of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act which provides information about the debt and offers me the opportunity to dispute the dept.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Our investigation shows that a file in the name of [redacted] from [redacted] was received in our office on 07-26-2013, the address for services was [redacted], Chicago Il, [redacted]. The SS# associated with this file is [redacted]. We believe this is the file that [redacted] is discussing and claims is being reported on his credit. This file was paid in full directly to [redacted] on 11-19-2013. We have concerns that if this consumer is not one in the same, this information may be reporting to the wrong individual and in order to be compliant, we have requested an AUD deletion to all credit reporting agencies, confirmation number is [redacted]. Should this not be the file in questions, we would ask [redacted] to make contact with our office direct and we can resolve his issues, he can call at [redacted], ext [redacted] and ask for [redacted], or he can e mail us at [redacted].

Review: Stellar Recovery is reporting to the credit bereaus [redacted] and [redacted] that I owe a debt to [redacted] for $442. My issues with this is that I don't owe Stellar or [redacted] any money. The first I heard of this collect was on on my [redacted] credit report. This is unacceptable. What happened to Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act I would like this account deleted and closed.Desired Settlement: I would like an apology from the company.I also will not be satisfied until this account is deleted from all 3 credit reports.Otherwise, I will contact the [redacted] and my attorney.

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed against Comcast Corporation by Chris B[redacted]. Our records do indicate that a file was placed in our office by Comcast on 9-22-2015 for a Chris B[redacted] in the amount of $240.92 for services at [redacted], TN [redacted] . We show a dunning letter was mailed to this address on 09-25-2015. We show no contact has been made with this consumer. Based on the complaint, we believe Mr. B[redacted] has a dispute on the charges placed in our office by Comcast, for that reason, we have closed the file as disputed and will return the file to Comcast with that information. There has been no reporting to any credit reporting agency on this file. The file is closed and will be returned to Comcast.

Review: I have tried to contact this company to get a bill taken care of off of my credit report. No one ever answers the phone, I have never received a bill from them, and they will not return my calls. It is continually hurting my credit. When I do call, I get a voicemail stating the name of the business, so I know that I have the right company. However, after leaving 20 plus messages I gave up on trying to take care of the bill.Desired Settlement: I would like the account removed or deleted from my credit report. I feel that after over twenty attempts to pay them that they couldn't even give me a call back that it is only fair that they drop the bill and remove it from my report so that I continue on with my life and repairing my credit.

Response:

Stellar Recovery has received an inquiry from [redacted]. On 11-06-2012, our office did receive a past due billing for Comcast Services at [redacted] and a billing address of [redacted]. Our records indicate we did send a letter to the billing address on 11-17-2012. The consumer indicates that she has called our over over 20 times and only got a voice mail and has no returned calls. She further indicates that she wants the credit reporting deleted as a result of the number of attempts made to resolve the billing. We receive thousands of inbound calls each day that are routed directly to our agents, we do not know how the calls could have all been directed to a voice mail unless the calls were all after hours. Our administrative staff also forwards any messages to various agents each day when we do receive a notice to call back. Our records do not show any contact made by our agents and we did not show the phone number in our system of [redacted], the number provided in the Revdex.com inquiry. We have placed this file ([redacted]) on hold, and have ordered deletion of the credit reporting as requested by the consumer. The file is still open in our office and [redacted] is welcome to call our office at [redacted] and ask for extension **0, [redacted] or e mail us with any questions or to resolve this file at [redacted].

Revdex.com,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Regards,

Review: I have not had [redacted] service for over 5 years. [redacted] attempted to collect $174 for [redacted], however, after challenging this [redacted] provided me a letter stating that "after investigation we will no longer pursue [redacted] on this account". Now, Stellar Recovery has called me (nothing in writing) trying to collect the same debt. According to [redacted], I owe them nothing. I have just applied for a mortgage to discover that Stellar Recovery has placed the account in collection status on my credit report and dropped my score from 770 to 699! [redacted] isn't willing to help and Stellar Recovery will not speak to me other than to demand money. I do not owe this debt and have my attorneys at [redacted] to challenge the entry on my credit report. Unfortunately, this will take up to two months. I have no recourse but to pay excess interest for 30 years on a mortgage because these crooks get away with this so often. In searching the web, they have established a pattern of collection practices that should have already put them out of business. This is sad and shameful that they continue to do this to people with the support of [redacted].Desired Settlement: Remove this collection from my credit report. I do not owe this debt.

Review: Computerized phone calls almost daily trying to collect a debt I do now owe.

I own my home, own my car, pay my credit card bill monthly, as well as utility bills, insurance, etc.

I have an outstanding credit score, stellar credit record, and owe money to no one. Obviously this is a case of unwarranted harassment.Desired Settlement: Cessation of phone calls and no further contact.

Stellar Recovery has received a complaint filed by [redacted]. Mr [redacted] has indicated that we may be calling his number of [redacted]. Our records do show that we have made calls to that number for a consumer with the same last name but different first name and address. Review: I am being harassed by this collection agency about a Dish Network bill for $418 from 2010 that I know nothing about. It was put on my credit report and now I can't get credit. There has never been cable service at this address and I do not owe this bill. They sent it to me as [redacted] which is not me. I want this debt erased and removed from my credit report.Desired Settlement: I want this removed from my credit report since this bill is not mine.

Business

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. On 04-10-2013, our office did received a [redacted] file for services to a billing address of [redacted] in the name of [redacted], the social security number attached to this file was [redacted]. It appears that we have had no contact with the consumer, nor have we received any written notification of a dispute or request for validation on this file. Based on the information we received from the Revdex.com, we have requested validation of the debt, once this is received, the documents will be mailed to the address on file. During the validation period, we have requested deletion of the credit reporting, AUD deletion confirmation is [redacted]. Once Ms. [redacted] reviews the validation documents, she is welcome to write our office or call with any aditional questions or concerns, all collection attempts cease during this validation period.

Review: On 03/13/2015 I contacted Stellar Recovery regarding a collection that is appearing on my credit report. I informed them that I believe that the amount owed does not belong to me but was incurred by my ex-wife. Since the amount was minor and I am in the process of ensuring my credit reports are correct, I offered to pay the amount if they agreed to delete the records from my credit reports. The agent I spoke to stated they could not do that. He spoke so fast I could not get his name and rudely continued to cut me off whenever I tried to explain the situation. I asked to be transferred to someone above him which I was without another word. The next person I talked to was named [redacted]. I stated my case with her again and she stated the same policy that they are unable to delete for payment and said I needed to file a criminal complaint. I informed her that I have seen several instances online regarding Stellar agreeing to delete for payment especially after a complaint has been filed. I told her since the amount was minor that I would be happy to pay it as long as they removed it from my reports and we would not have to drag this out through disputes. She stated that what the part of the company that handles complaints does is their business and she cannot do anything. I stated that I would move forward the disputing the accounts and would file a complaint. At that point the only response I received was Okay and the call ended. At no point during this call was I rude to the agents. This is a minor amount that I want to pay off but I do not want the impact on my credit report to drag out.Desired Settlement: I would like Stellar to accept my payment in full of the owed amount in exchange they agree to remove all information regarding this collection from my credit reports. I would like this agreement in writing prior to payment and again after it has been paid stating that the account is paid in full and all terms of the agreement have been met.

Business

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Our records do indicate that a file was received in our office from [redacted] in the name of [redacted] for services at [redacted] in the amount of $148.99. Our records show that we did speak with the consumer today and the consumer indicated that he was willing to pay this file if we would agree to delete the credit reporting, this is known as "Pay to Delete." Both the Agent and the Manager did explain to the consumer that our policy is to not accept a "Pay to Delete" request but would certainly report the payment to all credit reporting agencies. This is the policy of Stellar Recovery and we will not agree nor will we send any type of agreement to a consumer prior to paying an account being reported to any consumer. The consumer indicated that " I have seen several instances online regarding Stellar agreeing to delete for payment especially after a complaint has been filed." Our compliance department has reviewed many cases when notified of a dispute or inquiry and deletions have been performed on a case by case basis, but not simply because someone has filed a complaint with the Revdex.com or any regulation Agency, it was based on the circumstances surrounding the reporting and the debt. We will not accept a "Pay to Delete" from [redacted], nor will we agree to send any such agreement in writting prior to payment of the account. We have however, closed this file and returned it to our client based on the filing of this complaint and the indication that the file may have been opened by his "ex-wife". Mr. [redacted] is welcome to deal directly with [redacted] regarding the debt that is owed, the original [redacted] account # is [redacted]. We have closed this file in our office and returned it to [redacted] and we have ordered Deletion of the credit due to the closure of the file in our office.

Review: I am repeatedly receiving phone calls to my private cell phone from this company asking for a completely different person named [redacted]. I have repeatedly told them that she no longer has this number and that I have had this cell number for over 2 years now. Each time they assure me that they have removed my number from the system, yet I continue to get random phone calls from them! They are rude and do not know how to speak civilly to anyone.Desired Settlement: The need to stop calling or I will file a harrassment lawsuit against them.

Business

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Ms. [redacted] indicates that that we have been calling her private cell phone. The phone number provided to the Revdex.com was ###-###-####, we do not show this number is in our system. If Ms. [redacted] has the "private cell number", and can provide us that number, we can certainly make sure it is taken out as a bad number and put to our do not call list. She also indicated that we were asking for a [redacted], we did locate a file with that name and we did remove all phone number associated with the file in case one of those numbers might be her private number. If Ms. [redacted] wishes, she is welcome to call [redacted] at ###-###-####, ext [redacted] and would be happy to check our system for any number. She can also e mail me at [redacted] and we can make sure the number has been removed.

Review: I spoke with [redacted] at x251 the week of May 20. She explained that Stellar Recovery was trying to collect a debt for [redacted]. I asked hew if this debt had been reported to the credit agencies yet and she replied no, and that it would not be reported to the agencies as long as I made payment arrangements and kept those payments current. I told her I would call back next week with a payment plan. I called back today and spoke to a young man who tried [redacted]'s extension but she was unavailable. I asked him if he could set up the payment arrangements with me and he agreed. I also confirmed with him that this debt would not be reported to the credit agencies as long as the payment arrangement was kept and he confirmed that policy. After making the arrangements, I requested a letter that stated the payment arrangement and that this debt would not be reported to the agencies. He told me that he didn't have a letter like that. I asked him if he could write one stating this policy and he hesitated. I then asked for a supervisor. He transferred me to [redacted] who confirmed that we was a supervisor and that [redacted] should never have told me that they wouldn't report the debt because they were going to do so whether payment arrangements were made or not. He was rude and unprofessional. I don't now what to believe.Desired Settlement: I would like Stellar Recovery to stand behind their representative and do what 2 of their employees promised me and accept payment arrangements without reporting this debt to the 3 credit agencies.

Business

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of an inquiry made by [redacted]. Stellar Recovery did receive a Past Due billing from [redacted], this was for residential services that dates back 02-04-2009. Because credit reporting is complex, our agents are trained to let the consumer know general rules for reporting. In this particular case, this billing is considered "out of Stats" and will not report to the credit Bureaus. This is based on state laws that are different for each state and our systems are set to be compliant based on state as well as Federal FCRA standards. Our general policy is to report, if within stats after 30 days placement of the file by the client. Once the file has been paid, our policy is to also order deletion from the Credit Reporting. Our general standard is to continue reporting, but updating the credit reporting when payments are being made, again deletion is ordered once the file has a zero balance. We are showing that Ms. [redacted] has set up a series of payments on this file. I can confirm that credit reporting will not be done on this particular file. If Ms. [redacted] has any additonal questions, she is welcome to call me at ###-###-####, ext [redacted] or e mail me at [redacted].com Again, we apologize for any confusion but our Agents are trained to give general information without getting into specifics on credit reporting due the complexity of this reporting.

Business

Response:

When Ms. [redacted] placed another inquiry to the Revdex.com, we did do an inquiry with the Credit Reporting agencies and we ran an audit of the credit reporting through our system at the same time. We did find a discrepancy in our system, but the reporting from the manual AUD was confirmed. We have not forgotten about this case and have a ticket into the Credit Reporting agencies to audit. We are still waiting to hear on this ticket. Ms. [redacted] can continue to place inquiries with the Revdex.com or she is also welcome to contact me directly at ###-###-####. ext [redacted] or e mail me at [redacted] I can give her an update upon her request, but we are trying to make sure the deletion went through the system properly and if it did not, we are trying to fix the issue on this report.

I have contacted Mr. [redacted] regarding this issue and he was non-responsive and basically told me to sit and wait. Other companies have been able to resolve these credit issues within a matter of days. The only reason I filed another complaint with the Revdex.com was because he was not advising me of updates, time frames and exactly what actions were being taken to resolve this matter that has seriously damaged my credit report when her guaranteed me this would not happen. I would like to know times frames and what can be done to expedite this process.

Business

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of the additional complaint filed by [redacted]. As we have stated several times, we are attempting to make sure this doesnt report to the credit reporting agency. Ms. [redacted] is currently making payments on her past due billing from [redacted], our normal procedure is to continue reporting to the credit bureaus when payments are being made but the balance due is updated by the payment. Since Ms. [redacted] claimed in her first complaint that employees indicated that it would not be reported, that we honor this and we have manually deleted the credit reporting, the credit reporting agencies have indicated that they have deleted the reporting and we manually set her file after her payment is made to not start reporting as the system is set to do. I do not believe I have been non-responsive this consumer, She still has 2 payments and the file and then it will be paid in full and closed. We have tried to make consessions for this consumer due to her insertions that our employees indicated to her that the file would not report, when that has never been the case and all employees know how we report but we have attempted to be respectful of her claims. We are showing that the reports are currently deleted.

Review: Have checked credit report and see that Stellar Recovery Inc has reported that have a negative balance of $283 and they have never notified me of any debt to Time Warner Cable.

I have disputed the information with all 3 credit bureaus and 2 of them have removed the item, as it is being handled by another collection agency, who let me turn in my equipment, adjusted my balance due and is working with me on payment.

I would like the negative information removed from my TransUnion credit report, as, again, another collection agency has been assigned and I am actively working with them (not stellar, who never returned my call or request for debt validation) to clear up my balanceDesired Settlement: Remove negative information from TransUnion Credit report as well as Equifax and Experian

Regards,

Review: Stellar calls me 2- 3 times a week, if I answer they wait 30 seconds or more to pick up the phone. They then request personal information, such as social security information and addresses which I do not give out over the phone. Unless I divulge this information, they will not confirm the nature of the call (debt collection) and will not provide a supposed source of debt ([redacted]) and will not provide a physical location of the business, and have hung up on me everytime I requested the information. The answers I give are the same everytime, yet they continue to call me and won't even properly conduct the business they are in. As a result, this has gone on for almost 6 months now. In the beginning (about April 24th, if I remember correctly) [redacted] was told to send me a correct bill in a recorded phone call, which the total was agreed upon and I told them I will pay, and they never sent the bill. Instead they send me to this phony data mining collection company so they can attempt to ruin my credit.Desired Settlement: Adjust to the correct total agreed on back in april (now 30 dollars after they refused a payoff in June at the mishawaka [redacted] hub), actually send the bill to the correct address as mentioned in the recorded phone call, and clear any negatory credit postings as a result of [redacted]'s failure to properly conduct business with their clients. Yes, I said they REFUSED a pay off in their mishawaka building.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Our records indicate that we did receive a [redacted] file in the name of [redacted] for services and equipment on 05-27-2014. On 06-02-14, [redacted] notified us of a payment made directly to them on the file and also issued a credit on a portion of the equipment, leaving a balance due of $35.00 showing as equipment not returned. It appears we attempted to speak with Mr. [redacted] on 7-10, 7-23 and 8-15 and Mr. [redacted] refused to verify his identity with our agent and the recordings show "he hung up." We do show on 10-23-2014, he did verify information and told our agent that he owes nothing to [redacted], all equipment had been returned and he had paid his bill. The Stellar Agent thanked him and closed the file as disputed and the file was returned to [redacted]. We are required under the FDCPA to identify the consumer using two identifying characters, for example, name and address or name and ss #. Once Mr. [redacted] was cooperative and we were able to speak with him regarding the file in our office, our agent properly marked the file as disputed and returned it to [redacted]. All credit reporting is deleted once we close the file as disputed. Mr. [redacted] is welcome to contact [redacted] directly with any additional dispute information.

Review: I've been trying to pay off my acclaimed collection. I've contacted them I've called them and I get no responses in return. I'm trying to clear up my Credit and this is making it an extremely difficult. All I was asking for is a call back or email even. I just want to clear my collections.Desired Settlement: I want to pay my amount in collections and have this headache removed from my credit report.

We also show that we ordered deletion of the credit reporting for this file on 1-15-2013. Although we show this should be a deleted item, in case there was an error on the part of the credit reporting agencies, we have ordered a manual deletion request today, confirmation number is [redacted]. The agent also suggested that Mr. [redacted] call the [redacted] dispute desk for additional information regarding this file and put the file on hold. Based on the information we have received from the Revdex.com, we have closed the file as "fraud" and will return the file to [redacted] with information provided by Mr. [redacted]. The file has been closed and returned to [redacted] and all credit reporting has been deleted. We have provided Mr. [redacted] with all information we have regarding this potential "faud" account.

Review: They charged me the wrong amount and then once they got the correct price my account was put into collections. Once my account was in collections they wanted payment for the correct amount. After I paid the correct amount they denied to have this taken out of negative and removed from my credit report. They said since they put it into collections its to late to have it removed. Even though they charged me the incorrect price in the beginning and I refused to pay once they had the correct amount they didin't send me out a correct bill they just put it in collections and let me find it on my report. I do not feel as though my credit report should have any reflections of their mistake on it for the next seven years because of their mistake.Desired Settlement: Remove off my credit report

AStellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. On 10-10-2013, our office did receive a past due billing for [redacted] for services at [redacted] for $ 171.41. [redacted] refers to "they" several times in this complaint, we assume the consumer is referring to [redacted] as we show no dispute existed when we received the file or the amount that was due. This account began reporting to Credit Reporting agencies beginning 11-12-2013. Our records indicate that the consumer made contact with our office on 02-13-2014 and paid this file in full, it began reporting paid in full to all credit reporting agencies correctly on 02-14-2014. On 02-28-2014, our records also indicate that the consumer phoned our office and informed one of Agents that she "knows we are able to remove things off her credit." The agent correctly informed Ms. [redacted] that we are reporting the paid in full account correctly to the credit reporting agencies. Since Ms. [redacted] now claims that a dispute may have existed with [redacted] prior to the placement of the file, and no fault of Stellar Recovery, we have marked the paid in full account as disputed and the credit reporting will be deleted. Confirmation of the deletion is [redacted]. We are not deleting the credit reporting for any reason except that a dispute may have existed prior to placement of the file by [redacted] to Stellar Recovery.

Review: I have now spoken with [redacted], operator #[redacted] operator # [redacted] at extension [redacted], and finally [redacted] (alleged co-owner) at extension [redacted] who have all told me now since December that I would receive my $100.00 refund back. I originally sent a payment to this company in October when they were collection agents authorized to handle the account. They sold the account to another servicer in early November, and weeks later, cashed a payment that they received from me which should have been directed to the new servicer. I filed a Revdex.com complaint on this issue at the beginning of December, where an account manager or executive *Mr. [redacted] told me it would take weeks to receive a refund. I have been consistently speaking every few weeks to Mr. [redacted] who told me the following statements: he would personally assure I would receive the refund in the next week, the check was sent out on Monday so I should receive it by Friday (week of January 10, 2014), he'll call me back after he investigates why the refund is taking so long (week of January 17, 2014) , him telling me he just came from a business trip to Colorado and that the check was sent to Oregon (week of January 24, 2014), and finally this evening after becoming irritated that I am even pursuing the $100.00 , he said that he'll "check with accounting and get back to me". This last statement after I have left 2 other voice mail requests for call backs unsuccessfully. I just want my $100.00 back! This account has been settled and paid off with the new servicer since 12/23/2013. I should have received this money back at least by the 2nd or 3rd week of January and it is nearing the beginning of March!Desired Settlement: I would like the $100.00 payment sent to me via priority mail with signature confirmation or even via FEDEX/UPS with signature requirement. I have been more than patient, understanding, and deserve some type of accommodation. This is clearly illegal and I want my money back now!

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. This complaint has been going on for some time and and has been a constant set of errors on the part of Stellar Recovery. The check for $100 was sent some time last week but we do not show that it has been cashed. We have place a stop payment on the check and re-issued a new check and double checked the address for the check to be delivered. We do apologize for the mix up and error ove a $100 payment due to Ms. [redacted]. My name is [redacted], not [redacted], and she can continue to contact me regarding any issues. I personally mailed the new check out today.

Review: I filed a Chapter 7 bankruptcy on 9/27/2014 and the bankruptcy was discharged on 1/6/2015. The bankruptcy was filed in [redacted]; case number: [redacted].

Since then Stellar Recovery, Inc. ([redacted]) has continued to place a collections account listed as "open" on my credit report resulting in a derogatory mark on my report. This is a direct violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act as well as the Bankruptcy Law.Desired Settlement: I am requesting that this account be removed or the status be updated to "closed/included in bankruptcy" immediately.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. On 07-09-2013, our office did receive a file in the name of [redacted] for [redacted] Services at [redacted], Draper UT [redacted] with a billing address of [redacted], Jacksonville FL [redacted]. On 08-23-2013, we documented receiving a letter from a [redacted] with the same billing address and Account number. This letter contained 3 seperate requests or demands, first it ask for validation of the debt, second it offered to pay off the file if we agreed to delete the file from the credit reporting agencies, and 3rd, if we did not respond he disputed the alleged debt and withdraw his offer. This offer to settle with deletion is not allowed by the original creditor, they will not allow us to delete for payment. The administrative department did order validation based on the request. We were later informed that validation for this file was not available and per the request of the letter, we marked the file as disputed and deletion was ordered on this file. Confirmation of the deletion request is [redacted] is welcome to deal directly with [redacted] in the future, the file has been returned and marked disputed per his communication.

Review: Prior to my bankruptcy in 2008 I had an account with [redacted]. That account was included and discharged in my bankruptcy March 2009. Within the last few weeks, I started receiving calls from this company requesting payment of over 700.00. This new account is now on all of my credit reports, posting as a new account as of 9/2013. This account was not in collections at the time of my bankruptcy, nor was it ever over 700.00.Desired Settlement: I would like to stop receiving calls from company demanding a payment for an account that was discharged in bankruptcy over 3 years ago. I would also like this account removed from all credit reports as this was not an account of mine, and it should have not been sold to any collection agency. It drastically damaged my improved credit post bankruptcy. This "new" collection cause my credit score to drop.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted] T. [redacted]. On 08-21-2013, we did receive a past due invoice from [redacted] in the name of [redacted], for services from [redacted], this file shows it was charged of in December of 2008. [redacted] did not indicate that this file was included in any Bankrupcty. Stellar Recovery also performs Bankruptcy "scrubs" on all accounts before collection action is performed, the filing of Bankrutcpy was not detected in this scrub. Based on the information given to the Revdex.com, we have closed the file as Bankrupt and have forwarded this information to the client. We have also performed an AUD deletion of this claim from all Credit Reporting Agencies, confirmation # of the deletion [redacted] date October 2, 2013. We apologize for this error on the part of client.

Review: I was contacted by Stellar Recovery about a month ago on my cell phone by a gentleman by the name of [redacted] from phone number ###-###-####. He claimed I had an unpaid debt with [redacted] Company in Indianapolis, IN. in the amount of $67.00. He said we had until June 13, 2014 to pay in order to keep this off our credit report. He was to send me information on this account via my home email address as I was not comfortable giving him my current home address or any other personal information until I seen something in writing to verify this was a legit collections matter. He agreed and said that would be sufficient enough for him to do so. I never received this information from Mr. [redacted] nor have we ever been contacted by [redacted] to collect this debt. We terminated our service with [redacted] over 2 years ago. We also had to file a chapter 13 bankruptcy in which [redacted] was included in that filing. I explained that to Mr. [redacted]. He instructed me to contact our attorney and verify this was indeed included in the bankruptcy and call him back. I don't need to contact my attorney as I have a case # for our bankruptcy and documents showing [redacted] was indeed included in it. He was asking for personal information that I was not comfortable giving to him until I had all the details concerning this collection, and I refused to give him any information other than my e-mail address. I continue to receive calls from this company from number ###-###-####, and when I answer they hang up. I got in contact with [redacted] on June 13, 2014 at number ###-###-#### and ###-###-####. I spoke with 3 different people, 1 in billing and 2 from collections, Dennis and Thomas. I was told by all 3 individuals that I had a $0.00 balance and they suspected that this was a scam and that they had never heard of this company. If I truly owe the money I will be happy to pay, but until I can be provided with that information I cannot agree to anything.Desired Settlement: To either provide documents from [redacted] proving this is a legitimate collection. Stop calling me and do not report on my credit report.

Revdex.com,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. I'm confused because the person they have named in their response to my case is someone I have never heard of. I'm assuming they have my complaint confused with someone else's. Below is a copy of Stellar Recovery's response. I would like to know who the heck [redacted] is and what he has to do with my complaint? Nor do these mentioned dates co-inside with my complaint.
