Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of an inquiry that was made by [redacted] On 05-06-2013, our office did receive an aged file under the name of [redacted] with the original creditor listed as "[redacted]". The address provided to our office was [redacted] and the SS# associated with the file ended in [redacted]. A letter of notification was sent to this address. On 06-17-2013, I had received an e mail from our debt resolution site from Mr. [redacted]. First thing this morning, I responded to the e mail and indicated that we had reviewed his information and had indeed closed the file as disputed and returned it to our client with his dispute information. We also notified him of the AUD deletion which was manually submitted to the Credit Reporting Agencies. Mr. [redacted] also requested a letter from us, which was also e mailed to him as requested including the confirmation AUD deletion number of [redacted].

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Regards,

Review: You are illegally reporting an account to all 3 credit bureaus which is NOT mine. The account number is [redacted], the file number is [redacted] and the original creditor is Comcast. I have sent three certified letters demanding that you delete this account from my credit reports yet you have chosen to ignore all of them. You have failed to ever provide me with evidence showing who opened these two accounts.

The resolution I want is for you to IMMEDIATELY DELETE this account from all 3 credit bureaus as well as send me a letter showing that you have deleted the accounts. I will give you 10 days to respond to this email before I file a complaint with the Montana State Attorney Generals office as well as the Federal Trade Commission. I will also file a civil lawsuit in which I will seek damages for you incompetent, illegal behavior.

If you delete the accounts from ALL 3 CREDIT BUREAUS I will consider this matter closed.Desired Settlement: Immediately DELETE this account from all 3 credit bureaus as well as send me a letter proving that this has been completed. Once I receive this I will consider the matter closed.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. On 04-11-2014, our office did receive a past due billing from Comcast for a [redacted] for services at [redacted] in the amount of $118.63. Our records indicate that we received a notice from the Credit Reporting Agencies (EOscar electronic notification) on 10-28-2014 and the file was closed as disputed, per this notification. The credit reporting was electronically deleted on 11-03-2014. We also show that we received a letter on 11-11-2014, after the file had been closed that indicated that he "has sent many dispute letters regarding his Capital One Account." This is not his Capital One account, but the file had already been closed as disputed, so the file was documented and our administrative department also ordered a manual deleter request, confirmation # [redacted] on the same date. Our Records also indicate that Mr. [redacted] phoned into our office on 11-14-2014 and spoke to one of our agents and was informed that the file has been closed as disputed and returned to our client as such. The file was properly closed when notified and credit reporting was deleted.

Review: Well I have several complaints about this company's practices. The first one is that this company called me one day out of the blue saying that I owe them this debt from Comcast and that it is reporting to my credit bureaus. I did have Comcast years back but I never received any letter from Stellar stating that I owed this debt to them. By law they are required to send one. Now if they can find a correct number for me how can they not be able to send me the required notification about this account. Secondly, I agreed with the agent to settle the account on a specified amount and my husband called them to pay and the agent and my husband went over the agreed amount that was discussed and my husband paid based upon what was agreed. The agent did say that the call was being recorded, which is good. We checked our bank account and saw that they charged us more than what was agreed upon. My husband called back in to find out what happened and not happy of course. When he called in the agent he spoke to said that we had a balance when the account was supposed to be settled and closed. This was another issue on top of the other 2. He was transferred to a supervisor named [redacted]. She said that they were not able to wave the processing fee of $9.95 for a payment, but it was recorded that it would be done by the initial agent and his supervisor. She said that she would call mu husband back in 20 minutes, which was on 11/07/2014 around 12 noon and it is now 11/10/2014 at 9 a.m. and he has yet to hear from them. We have been lied to twice and did not receive any notification from the collection company before this was reported to my credit files. This company has committed several fraudulent acts and broken at least 1 law with the FDCPA and looking at all the other complaints within the last few months with this company, it seems as though they don't care. This is ridiculous.Desired Settlement: What I think should happen because of the false information given from Stellar and the time it has taken out of my husband's day at work to try to resolve this, plus the agreement being recorded is that the amount that my husband paid should be fully refunded and this account should completely deleted from my three credit files. This company appears to have bad habits when it comes to their company practices. If it was my error and if I did not follow through on the agreed amount I was told that the agreement was null and void and I would be responsible for the full balance so I think it is fair to demand this outcome. We should be completely refunded, the account closed and removed from my credit profiles.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. On 09-20-2014, our office did receive a past due billing from Comcast for a [redacted] for services at [redacted]. Our review indicates that a "communication" was made with the consumer on 10-28-2014 and our records indicate that the "demand" letter was mailed on 10-28-2014 per the FDCPA requirment. It appears we did offer a settlement for this account approved by our client on 10-28-2014 which was a savings on the amount owed of $103.22. The recording also indicates that we did offer to waive the convienvience fee of $9.50. The agent did request his manager to waive the fee but the manager did not process this request and the fee of $9.50 was charged when the settlement payment was completed on 11-06-2014. One of our guality assurance managers gave the consumer a call today and indicated that we would be happy to credit the convienience fee and that we would be willing to ask for deletion of this reporting on the consumers credit file, both of these things have been ordered and the consumer agreed to these arrangements.

Review: This company has been calling us for almost three years. Looking for [redacted]. We have told them many times that we dont know him. When we ask them not to call back they hang up and call the next day. They call us at 7 in the morning. We feel like they are harassing and incompetent. It is unbelievable that they wont stop calling. How many times do we have to tell them that he made up a number and it is our number. No one in our family knows him.Desired Settlement: we want the calls to stop forever. if they don't stop they should be fined for harassment.

Revdex.com,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]

The phone number they are calling is [redacted] and it is under the names [redacted] and [redacted].

This company continues to call twice a week, in spite of the fact that the person they are looking for I have never heard of. Auto-call function of their call does not help at all.

I called and spoke politely to an "agent", who promptly hung up on me. Called back, and the second "agent", when I asked for his supervisor POLITELY, "transferred" me into oblivion!

BAD COMPANY! BAD PRACTICES!!! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICES!!

Review: This is a collections company that was attempting to collect a debt which I was unaware of and was never contacted about from the billing company or the collections company. The first I heard of the debt was when the collections hit my credit report. I immediately contacted Stellar and paid the bill and asked to have the credit hit removed from my record as I was NEVER contacted regarding the debt. I feel this was an unfair business practice and should be changed. I made payment the moment I found out a bill was due and had they made any form of contact with me prior to this date I would have certainly paid an owed amount.Desired Settlement: All I am asking for is to have the hit on my three credit reports removed, not listed as paid in full but in fact removal of any bad debt posted with the three credit agencies.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Our records indicate that we did receive a Time Warner account in our office on 12-16-2015 for a [redacted] for Services at [redacted]. Our investigation shows that the account in our office from Time Warner was placed with a delinquency date of 2-5-2015. A deletion has been submitted on Mr. [redacted]’s behalf. Please allow time for the credit reporting agencies to make the adjustment.

Review: Stellar Recovery has sent me a notice indicating they believe I owe them a debt in the amount of $220.14, with an original creditor of [redacted]. No such debt is owed. I challenge the validity of this debt and ask that Stellar Recovery remove all reports to credit agencies and suspend collection activity.Desired Settlement: I request that Stellar Recovery suspend all collection activity and remove all negative reporting to credit reporting agencies.

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of an inquiry made by [redacted]. Our records do indicate that a file from [redacted] was placed in our office on 10-24-2014 in the name of [redacted] for checking account services and demand deposits. A letter was mailed to the address on file of [redacted], 12-9-2014. Our investigation shows no contact had been made regarding this file. On 12-09-2014, our office received a notification of dispute provided by the Credit Reporting Agencies, we updated the address from this notification and closed the file as disputed based on this notification. Credit reporting was ordered deleted upon the dispute notification. We also performed a manual deletion request today to make sure this file is not reporting, the confirmation number for that deletion request is [redacted]. The file was closed as disputed when notified and deletion has been ordered for this file.

Response:

Revdex.com,

Stellar Recovery, Inc. sent me a letter after disputing this with the credit agencies. So long as Stellar Recovery agrees not to continue collection activity, we're good. I appreciate the manual deletion.

Review: About 2 months ago, I was checking my credit report after I was alerted to a new collection account on my report.

The alleged collection was from Stellar Recovery, for $395, which after doing some research found that it was associated with a Comcast account that had been closed since 12/2012. I have always paid my bills in a timely manner and had never received any documentation whatsoever from Comcast stating that there was any unpaid balance on the account. However now, after 3 years, the account is listed as being in collection. I sent a letter of dispute about 1 month ago, but have yet to hear anything back from Stellar. They have not responded to my attempts to correspond with them. I simply asked them to confirm the debt, and they have been unable to do so. The debt they are asserting I have is in error, and am frustrated they have not responded to this matter.Desired Settlement: I would like them to verify the accuracy of this debt and rightfully remove it from my credit report.

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Our records indicate that we did receive a Comcast account in our office on 12-29-2012 for a [redacted] for Services at [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] has never made contact directly with Stellar Recovery in regards to this account. Mr. [redacted] submitted a second [redacted] through the credit reporting agencies disputing the account on 1-4-2016. Our records indicate that Stellar submitted a dispute update to the credit reporting agencies on 1-12-2016. Validation of debt will be requested from the client on [redacted]’s behalf. We will order deletion of the credit reporting for this account during this validation process.

Review: Stellar Recovery has listed a collection of $117.00 on my credit report. According to my credit report, the collection, which originated with [redacted], was opened on December 14, 2013. The report date is January 20, 2014.

The last time I had an account with [redacted] was in 2012. That account was closed and paid in full in March 2012. I think [redacted]'s claim is fraudulent.

Stellar Recovery has not contacted me to request payment. If they had, I would have disputed the charge as fraudulent.Desired Settlement: I would like this collection removed from my credit report.

Our records indicate that on 12-16-2013, we did receive a past due billing from [redacted] for an [redacted] for services at [redacted] in the amount of $117.00. [redacted] indicated that these charges were from 4-25-2012. We show that a demand letter was mailed to the address of record on 12-18-2013. We do report these accounts to the credit bureaus and as a "Data Furnisher" we report the opening date as the date WE received the file, thus the 12-2013 opening date and the date we sent the filing for reporting, thus the 1-20-2014 date on the credit profile. Our records also indicate that we have attempted to call since 12-16-2013 to the phone number of ###-###-#### a total of 12 times. We have no report of contact made on this file or any notification that a dispute may exist. Based on the information provided in the Revdex.com inquiry, we have closed the file as "disputed" and will return the file to [redacted]. Review: Was contacted repeated thru an computer for weeks on end. Today was contacted at my place of work by [redacted]. I asked him to stop calling me at my work and he said that he would just call HR to get my info. I asked for him to not contact me at work. He tried to Verify my address and my previous name from a debt he said was Beneficial. I did tell him he could not make threats as he was threating to take suit against me. He was very rude and stated that I was correct that he couldn't make threats. Then again he told me that he was going to contact my HR since I didn't seem to want to take care of this matter. He never explained the matter or provided me with any information about the account just that he was going to my HR. He called after 3 pm and told me I had until 6 then he would contact HR (continous threats about my job). I want all numbers removed from this account and them to stop contacting me.Desired Settlement: Please remove all numbers from this account and stop contacting me. The name they asked for I have not used in 12 years.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. On 08-06-2013, Stellar Recovery did purchase a file in the name of [redacted], aka [redacted], which was originally a Beneficial Financial account, the original account # is [redacted] and was charged off on 10-21-2010. We have reviewed the recording associated with this file on a call that was made to the consumer on 11-06-2013. The Agent was proper in giving a pre-legal demand on this file but the agent should not have brought up anything to do with the "HR" department for the consumers place of employement. Because Stellar Recovery does own this file, we do review these files for possible legal action if arrangments cannot be worked out in order to protect our asset. Ms. [redacted] indicated in the complaint that she would like all calls to stop. Under the FDCPA, we have closed the filed as "cease and desist." There will be no further collection action by Stellar. Stellar does have the right to forward this file to our attorney Network for review for legal action. If Ms. [redacted] has any additional questions, she is welcome to contact our office.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Complaint Detail

Review: I received a notification that this company reported a collection on my credit. After the collection is reported to my credit then I received a letter in the mail stating I owe the money for a Comcast bill. I was never notified in writing that there was an outstanding debt, and I never received a phone call. I contacted them to see about resolving this to get more information and they claim it is for a Comcast bill that was never paid. I asked them to delete it because it was not my account and I had no knowledge of it and they never properly followed procedures for communication. They stated they would not, then I contacted Comcast directly and they state that I have no past due accounts with them and have no collections with them.. I currently have 2 businesses and 2 residences with Comcast with no late payments or collections. However this company wants to negatively put it against my credit that I with them money for collection that does not exist. I requested that they send proof that I owe Comcast money, when Comcast could not even prove it. They said they would email it to me right then and there, and I never got it. I believe this company is a scam and is out to ruin people's credit and trying to collect debts that are not due to them. The account in question is reference number [redacted].Desired Settlement: I would like them to remove this account from my credit bureau immediately. Per Comcast I owe them nothing, so I should not have to pay anything to get it removed. It is damaging to my credit and my business and I want it removed immediately.

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted] Our records indicate that a file was placed into our office for collection by Comcast on 11-11-2015 under the name of [redacted] for services at [redacted]. Our investigation shows that we spoke with the consumer yesterday and the consumer indicated that he would be willing to pay this amount if we agreed to delete the credit reporting. Our agent informed the consumer that we do not have a "pay to delete" policy. The consumer then demanded validation of the file. The file history indicates that the agent took down the contact information and did place the file status as "validation." Normally, this process can take up to 30 days to complete. When Stellar received this complaint, which indicates that the consumer spoke with Comcast and they indicated that he had no past due balance due, we contacted our client directly and they said they would send out validation documents to our office. We did received these documents today and have e mailed them to the consumer. In review of the validation documents, we were unable to verify the balance we are currently showing and being reported to us from Comcast. The consumer was informed of this via e mail and was also informed that we are closing the file and sending it back to our client. All Credit reporting has been ordered deleted for the file and that he is welcome to contact Comcast regarding this file in the future.

Review: Recently I purchased a new cell phone from AT&T. This issued me a new number [redacted]. Since I have had this new number, I continue to get debt collection calls for someone named [redacted]. I have advised that this is a new cell phone number issued by AT&T, it is not [redacted]'s cell phone number and to remove this number from your database. To date Stellar has not removed my number from their database.Desired Settlement: I would like for Stellar to remove this number from their database.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of an inquiry made by [redacted]. Our records do indicate that the phone number of [redacted] was provided as a contact number by a client for a consumer with the name of [redacted]. The agent removed the number from our system and placed the number into our internal do not call list. We apologize for the one call made to a wrong number. Our agent properly processed the wrong number in our system.

Review: Stellar Recovery Inc received my unpaid balance for comcast. I paid Stellar Recovery in the amount of 280.00 for my bill from Comcast which was 255.00. I first of all was overcharged and this was paid back in Feb 2015. We requested a paid in full which was never sent. This charge is still on my credit report as a result and never removed.Desired Settlement: Correction to credit report with this charge deleted and a letter stating paid in full. Otherwise it will become a legal matter

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Our records indicate that we responded to this issues in this complaint on 9-8-2015 in which we indicated that the account was paid in full and deletion has previously been ordered on 09-04-2015 when we received an e mail indicating that the deletion was not completed in February of 2015, when he paid the account in full. Confirmation number of the deletion request made at that time was [redacted]. Today, an audit was performed and it showed that deletion was performed by all credit reporting agency for this file. Out of an abundance of caution, we have also processed another AUD deletion request today, this control # is [redacted] and dated 10-09-2015. We also show that a paid in full letter was sent on 9-8-2015 to the e mail address we had on file which was [redacted] We have ordered another paid in full letter to be sent to the e mail supplied by the Revdex.com in this complaint which is [redacted] The account is paid in full, deletion has been ordered and a paid in full letter has been sent.

Review: On June 1, 2015 I filed a police report with the [redacted] Police Department as well as filed an FTC Identity Theft Affidavit with the credit bureaus. During this time another collection agency had this "[redacted]" account in collections. I informed them that the address that they claimed was on the bill in Boise (they never validated anything in writing as requested) was an address that I had never lived at. In fact, I was living over 900 miles away and have proof of it (multiple proofs actually). That collection dropped off my credit report and per my police report and fraud affidavit that I sent the previous company they were by law required to immediately stop collection, delete it from my credit (unless they could prove it was mine, which was never done), and they were not authorized to sell the debt. This is federal law. So I was shocked when I seen this collection agency pop up tonight.....Months later while checking my credit report which I do on a weekly basis now.

To my surprise, I have also never received any written correspondence from this company prior to them showing up on my credit report. So you have bought a debt that is not legally collectable as it was identity theft and you legally cannot be reporting this on my credit report. This should have been solved with the last collection agency. Should you choose not to cooperate with this I will be sure to contact the credit bureaus and request a block which I am legally entitled to and you won't be able to report anyways, so let's make it easy for both of us. You have also clearly violated the FCRA by not properly notifying me via mail of this collection. I do have legal counsel who I am working with currently and I am willing to provide my police report and FTC affidavit showing that even the residence that is on the "bill" or claimed by the last collection agency is NOT mine. I have never lived there and I have never done business with [redacted].Desired Settlement: Remove this from all of my credit reports immediately and do not sell it to another agency. I am going to seek legal recourse against the previous collection agency who you got this debt from illegally. I suggest that if you don't want to be sued for the one FCRA violation I've already got you on and for further defamation of character that you remove it promptly from my credit reports.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by Jessica L**. Our records indicate that we were assigned, from [redacted], a file in the name of Jessica L** (SS # ending in [redacted]) for services at Apt [redacted], Boise Idaho, 83713. The original Account # provided by [redacted] was [redacted]. The address we received was not a complete address and no letter could be forwarded for this file. [redacted] did not indicate this file was either disputed in the past or was a potential Fraud account. Based on the information provided to the Revdex.com, we have closed the file as fraud and will return the file to [redacted] with this information. We have ordered deletion of the credit reporting for this file, confirmation # is [redacted]. We would also suggest that the consumer make direct contact with [redacted] and inform them that this is a fraud account.

Review: On December 13, 2013 I sent a Debt Validation request concerning an alleged debt on my credit report(acct#[redacted], as listed on report). This was sent certified mail return receipt requested #[redacted]. I received the green card back with a signature that they had received the letter. It is now February 3, 2014 and they have failed to respond. I have no knowledge of this debt and have never been contacted by them regarding this debt. Furthermore, this alleged collection was also trying to be collected by [redacted] for the exact same account and amount. I also sent [redacted] a Debt Validation letter and they deleted immediately. I Currently have [redacted] services which they are claiming I owe $414.00 and if I actually owed them this amount my services would have never been turned on as they have a policy of collecting past due accounts before activating service. This is not my debt to pay and they obviously cant verify as they have had ample opportunity to do so. My address is correct on my credit report and they could of easily sent me a dunning letter when they started collecting on this so it could have been addressed immediately.Desired Settlement: I request this account be deleted form my credit report as it is not mine.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. On 06-04-2010, our office did receive a [redacted] file in the name of [redacted] for services at [redacted]. We further show that we had no contact with the consumer and that the file was recalled by [redacted] and returned to them on 06-06-2011. Our records indicate that the credit reporting for this file was ordered deleted on 06-07-2011. We did receive a validation request for this file on 12-17-2013, the file had been closed when we received this request for over 2 years. Again, we do show that deletion was ordered when the file was recalled, we have performed a manual AUD deletion on this file on todays date (02-04-2013) to all credit reporting agencies, confirmation # is [redacted]. We apologize for this error and are not sure why the credit reporting would continue after it was ordered deleted on 06-07-2011. Regards,

Review: Are reporting every 3 months that I have a new [redacted] bill that was turned over for collection & have been doing this since 2010.

Divorced April 2010. The courts gave X-wife the home and all utilities were to be paid by her. I have the court papers stating this. I talked to [redacted] about this and they allowed me to cancel contract early and charged me $75 early termination fee which I paid at that time. A balance on the account was $209 which my X-wife was ordered to pay was left on the account. This account was turned over to collections and the collection agency (Stellar Recovery Inc) has been reporting (Every 3 months) that a NEW [redacted] service has been acquired and turned over to collections. I didn't realize this was happening till I applied for a new home mortgage and the lender asked if we had multiple unpaid [redacted] bills that were turned over for collections. These multiple collections have lowered my credit score enough that I can't get approved for a home loan.Desired Settlement: Remove the collection from my credit report or at least have them post it correctly (only 1 original account) from 2010 and that is my X-wife's responsibility to pay per court order.

Business

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. On April 10,2013, our office did receive a past due [redacted] billing in the name of Jaems [redacted] for services at [redacted]. First, we do report to the Credit Reporting agencies but we only report the issue once, then we send monthly updates to the reporting agency, we performed an audit and it shows this is being reported once with updates monthly, not multiple times but have put a ticket in for clarification with the report agencies to see if some problem has occured. We cannot give legal advise, but if the billing is under a name and then a divorse occurs and there is a consent order for a certain spouse to pay that bill, that is a court decree only and does not negate the original responsibility of the contract holder. We have closed the file as disputed and have returned this file to our client, we have also ordered deletion of the repoirting to all credit reporting agencies based on that dispute. Review: Hi,

I recently checked my credit report and found an entry by Steller Recovery account [redacted] on my credit report. I have no knowledge or understanding of this account. My credit score is going down because of this negative entry by this business without any basis. They have not provided me with any proof that they own this account or that I am liable for this. I need this account removed asap from my credit report as it should not be on my account.Desired Settlement: Remove the entry from all 3 credit reports effective immidiately.

Our records indicate that a file was sent to our office from Comcast on 09-12-2011 in the name of [redacted] for Services at [redacted]. He further ask "for a letter to be e mailed to him at [redacted] and indicated to the agent that he thought he would be able to pay this account by 5-23-2013." We show no further communication was made with this consumer. We have closed the file as disputed and will return the file to Comcast as we show no verification documents were available for this account from Comcast. Deletion of the credit reporting has been ordered, comfirmation # for the deletion request is [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] is welcome to contact Comcast directly with any additional concerns or questions regarding the file # [redacted]. Review: This company has been calling my phone and also the phone numbers of people who know me but that I don't speak to regularly leaving voicemails that I will be arrested and served. They don't even identify themselves. I had to google the number, because sometimes the phone doesn't even ring and there's no missed call, but a voicemail comes up. I have no idea as to why I am being threatened or why they refuse to stop. I do not owe them money. And they have yet to send me something by mail.Desired Settlement: Stop harassing people.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Ms. [redacted] indicates that we have been calling her phone number of ###-###-####. Our investigation indicates that particular phone number is a number associated with a " [redacted]" . The phone number has been removed from our system and placed into our internal do not call list. The phone appears to be a wrong number being called, the consumer claims we have called "people who know me.", we are not sure how this could be possible as the phone number appears to simply be a wrong number for another party. We have checked all recordings associated with any messages left to this phone number, we certainly have left no messages that indicate she may be arrested and served, all messages were automated and comply with laws regulating our industry. We do apologize for the wrong number calls and the number has been removed from our system.

Review: Where to start I guess the beginning..first contact I had with the debt collector he was mad I don't answer my phone called me names put me down said I wasn't a good person because I don't pay my bills basically called me a piece of garbage.Of course I was very angry they never gave me information on who they were was never sent anything in writing I might add this has all taken place over a period of time I was harassed with phone calls even got into an argument over the phone telling them to quite calling me she stated she didn't have to stop calling because I never sent them anything in writing so I asked for the address and she hung up.I admit at the time I was ignorant to the process and the laws that govern debt collectors through state and federal regulations so finally they decided to take me to court over this debt that's when I began to research and gain some knowledge.I have maintained and even testified that I have always been in dispute over the amount owed that was why I stopped paying and told [redacted] to take court. which is fine because I wanted this settled.Stellar Recoery wanted 6411.41 in their judgement and they only got 3146.50 which made me happy because I won the judgement So anyway I had to wait for the appeal process to take affect so the judge handed down his verdict on the 20th of March so I counted 30 days which meant it needed to be paid in full by the 18th of April I didn't hear anything so on April the 16th I sent a letter with a cashiers check in then amount of 3146.50 and requested written proof that this debt was paid asked them to remove all my personal information from their files and asked them not to contact me themselves or attorneys I have proof I sent fed ex they received it on 4/17/13 and now on the 19th of April iam getting debt collection calls from their attorney which again they violated the FTC regulations because of the letter I sent I am so tired of these people just acting like they are above the law enough is enough. I have filed a complaint w/FTCDesired Settlement: I haven't decided yet on what type of settlement I want I spoke to a very nice lady who works for the Revdex.com and I talked about filing a civil suit she requested let her meaning the Revdex.com handle this first and then you can proceed in whatever ever direction you desire I said ok and thanked her.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. On 11-15-2011, Stellar Recovery did purchase an [redacted] account in the name of [redacted]. The file history indicates that we did have 2 conversations with Mr. Meyers on 11-28-2011 and 12-06-2011 in which Mr. [redacted] indicated that he was not in a posiition to pay this account and according to our Agents notes, told us to take him to court, that he had voluntarily gave back the power sports vehicle to the Bank and didnt owe them anything. The agent indicated that Mr. [redacted] was "yelling" and difficult. On 10-02-2012, Stellar Recovery turned this file over to an attorney in his juridication for review for potential Legal action. Mr. [redacted] became a defendant in a law suit that was filed and a judgement was granted to the plaintiff (Stellar Recovery) on 03-20-2013 by its attorneys. Once a file has been forwarded to an attorney, the agency steps aside and is not involved in the legal process. On 04-17-2013, our office did receive a cashiers check in the amount of $3146.50. This payment has been processed and we have advised the law firm of the payment. Mr. [redacted] should be communicating directly with the plaintiff's attorney regarding this matter, as they will be the party to complete the Legal documents necessary to satisfy the judgment with the courts. We are showing that the law firm handling this case is [redacted], NJ 08054, their contact number is ###-###-####.

Review: I recently received a derogatory mark on my credit report from Stellar Recovery Inc. Last reported November 22, 2015, for creditor Comcast in the amount of $47.

I am requesting to dispute this error. I never opened an account with Comcast in 2011. And furthermore, I never received a bill, letter or phone call requesting payment from Comcast or Stellar Recovery Inc.

I recently opened an account with Comcast in 2015. And at that time Comcast never mentioned any past debt. And after recognizing this error I contacted Comcast for more information regarding this and they did not have any details in reference to this collection.Desired Settlement: I am requesting Stellar Recovery Inc to provide validation of this debt and any documents pertaining to this collection. If they cannot provide these documents I am requesting Stellar Recovery Inc remove and decease of collection from all credit bureaus.
