Worst dealership ever! The vehicle that I was interested in they PROMISED me I was approved for so I go down there and they waste my time showing me other vehicles. Then an hour later they finally show me the one I want. 5 hours later I finally get to leave they have no idea What customer service is. Then a week later they call me back and need me to come in. I come in and they want to double my interest rate and my monthly payment! I said no! So I asked for my money down to be refunded and they said no.

I got ripped off badly. Do not go here ever

[redacted] purchased his 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 from Sullivan Motor Company on January 2nd

Cambria; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 1em;"> 2016, with 109,000 miles on it, the title and registration both reflect the same mileage at the time of purchase.  Mr. [redacted] was given a 3 month 3,000 mile powertrain only warranty from Sullivan Motor Company at no additional cost at the time of purchase.   When Mr. [redacted] informed Sullivan Motor Company that he was having problems with his transmission, Sullivan Motor Company informed Mr. [redacted] that his 3 month 3,000 mile warranty had expired not only with time but also the vehicles mileage was over the allowed 3,000 miles.   Mr. [redacted] was offered a discounted rate from Sullivan Motor Company to replace the damaged transmission with a used transmission for $1,050 including parts and labor but refused this service.   Sullivan Motor Company is not willing to participate in the cost of the transmission.

Sullivan Motor Co is requesting a copy of the advertisement that Mr. [redacted] has stated.  Sullivan Motor Co is unaware of any advertisement reflecting the price stated by Mr [redacted].

If Mr [redacted] is unhappy with the deal and price that he negotiated then Sullivan Motor Co would...

be willing to find him a different vehicle that would satisfy his needs or we would be willing to take the 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis back from him and return to Mr. [redacted] his 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer.  A millage charge and a restocking fee would apply.

Thank You

We went into Sullivan Motor Company in Mesa, AZ on Friday February 7th, 2014 to look at a 2007 Mazda5. We agreed on a price and signed a contract and agreed I would put the down payment on the next day. We had a family emergency and when I was able to contact them I was told that they turned around and sold the vehicle the next day. This is bad business when they specifically told me I needed to sign the contract in order to make sure that they didn't sell the vehicle.

Great experience, My Salesman Darrin, was very knowledgeable. He made sure, all my Bluetooth devices, where paired, with my new Infiniti M56. Also took the time, to meet me at my home, to program the homelink, with my gate, and garages. Thomas, the manager, was very helpful, not too pushy. Would recommend, to everyone. Elizabeth?

We had been shopping, at several other auto dealers, before coming to Sullivan motors. When we arrived, our salesman, Darrin, quickly greeted, us and was very knowledgeable, and was not pushy, like the big chain stores, we had experienced before. Their selection, of cars and trucks, was amazing. We finally settled on the jeep, wrangler. We will be back to buy, our next vehicle, from Darrin. Great experience...

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,[redacted]

James was very knowledgeable and figured out exactly what I was looking for, even when I didn't know what I was looking for. There finance department was easy to work with and it wasn't the normal buying a car grind you down situation

Was good

I arrived from out of state to purchase a truck and was told they went over it from front to back and didnt even make it 300 miles and lost an injector and later realized it was 4th injector replaced and fifth radiator I found this all out when the motor blew up not 1 month later and I was told sorry bout your luck later! Place is a shady joke! Its amazing that they went from and F rating to a B- in 5 months on here!

I heard about Sullivan Motor Company from my boyfriend who bought a chysler 300 from them.I bought a 2010 jeep,I had a great experience, very happy with their service. James was my salesman and he was helpful and I even sent my sister in to buy a car and he gave me 200 for referring my sister!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

There were no records attached to the response. We are unclear about what remedy is being offered. We are however, pleased that 9 months later, our complaint is actually being recognized. We are interested to hear more of and with clarity, what [redacted] and his team have to offer.

Regards,

When a vehicle has been traded to a dealership, sold to another individual or and other form of sale it is the current owners responsibility to report the sale of the vehicle to DMV. in this particular case the title was reassigned on the back to the purchasing dealer.  When a dealer sells...

another dealer a vehicle, it is the selling  dealers responsibility to reassigns the back of the title to the purchasing dealer, only when the vehicle is sold to the end user (retail customer or the back of the title is full) will a new title be produced. In this case it was Sullivan Motor Co responsibility to report the trade-in vehicle to DMV.http://www.[redacted].[redacted] Sold NoticeWhen you sell your vehicle or otherwise transfer ownership, or end your lease, you must complete a Sold Notice within 10 days and notify the MVD, which you can do online. This notice is your protection from liability for tickets, accidents, etc., that occur after the sale. To transfer ownership, you must also complete the transfer on the back of the Certificate of Title and give it to the new owner. In addition, you must remove the license plate from the vehicle and keep it in your possession. You may qualify for a credit or refund. To view the remaining credit on your current license plate, see EZ Plate Credit. To submit a refund request use EZ Plate Refund.SellerWhen a vehicle is sold (or otherwise transferred) you, the seller, are required tosign off the back of the title and have your signature notarized.give the title to the buyer with any lien release, if applicable.complete a sold notice online, or on the back of the vehicle registration. remove the license plate from the vehicle and keep it in your possession. The plate belongs to you, not the vehicle.transfer the plate credit within 30 days to another vehicle that you own, or request a plate refund.

Mr [redacted] is requesting that Sullivan Motor Co replace the drive shafts on the Jeep he purchased, but what Mr [redacted] has failed to state is that he has put an aftermarket lift kit on this jeep himself and is expecting Sullivan Motor Co to replace the driveshafts with aftermarket driveshafts costing more than $1,200.  Sullivan Motor Co did replace the existing drive shaft to accommodate Mr [redacted] because Mrs. [redacted] refused to pay for the proper driveshafts for the newly lifted Jeep that they had installed.  Mr [redacted] declined a replacement radio due to the fact that Sullivan Motor Co was going to have the existing radio repaired and not purchase a new upgraded version with Navigation.  Sullivan Motor Co is still willing to repair the radio but is unwilling to purchase aftermarket driveshafts for a jeep that has been modified by the Ashlocks. This is not the responsibility of Sullivan Motor Co after any aftermarket modification has been done outside the dealership.

I went to Sullivan Motor Company hoping that I would be able to get into a car. I have bad credit and have had a hard time qualifying for a car else where. James the salesman was awesome. He showed me 3 cars that he thought I would like. One of them a [redacted] it was perfect. I told James that I wanted to stay under 300 for my payment and he worked and got me the perfect rate and perfect payment. I couldn't be happier and definitely tell everybody to go see James he works above and beyond to make sure you get the perfect car for yourself.

Top notch company!! Not only did my husband and I buy one vehicle from [redacted], we bought a second. No reason for us top go anywhere else!! Knowledgeable, friendly, and the best deals we could find, and believe me, we searched!! Doing business at Sullivan is a breath of fresh air into a normally stale, stuffy, and flat out no fun automotive sales industry..

Ill start by saying that the purchase and quality of the vehicle I received from this dealership are top of the line. However after I signed my paperwork, a number of problems arose, and I was swept under the rug multiple times. I was given the run around, and the issues that I had were not hastily dealt with. I did end up having to send an email to the management of the dealer ship, and to my surprise correspondence did come, and the outcome in the end is way more than I ever expected to receive from this dealer. The GM called me personally, and took it upon himself to fix EVERY issue that I had after the purchase of my vehicle. He was very professional and apologetic, and the actions taken to attempt to change the views I had on this company had a very positive outcome. I would certainly do research prior to dealing with them, and if problems do arise after or during the purchase expect to get the run around, but in the end the management will do their best to make sure your interaction ends positively.

I just bought a [redacted] from Sullivan Motors. They had a better selection than any other dealership we went to. Their staff was very friendly and professional and not at all pushy. I would definitely buy from Sullivan's again! We love our new [redacted]!

I have bought two cars and sent my family here to buy their vehicles. The sales staff was friendly and helpful. Any service issue with the vehicle they handled quickly and efficiently. I will definitely return to them.

I had an excellent experience with Sullivan Motors. I was looking for a suburban and I was helped by a kid named Manny and he did a wonderful job. He showed me what they had and kept me informed of vehicles that I might be interested in when something came in.
