I had no idea who was calling eight times a dayThought it was a scamFinally they left a vague message about an account I never heard of and to which I responded To cut to the chase,,I purchased hearing aids through EPIC and was offered month financing interest- free through what I now know was SYNCHRONYI made my first payment in June, twice the minimumSecond payment in July, the sameThe call was to inform me I owed both July payment (which I had made) and August, for which I had received the bill four days agoI refused to authorize any payment online until I had checked my checking account records, which seemed to surprise themI did check and my July payment had cleared on July Today is Sunday, so I will have to wait until tomorrow to notify them and hope this is the end of it This is an extension of my previous complaintI have discovered that I WAS LIED TO WHEN I AGREED TO THIS CHARGEI asked specifically , "If this is not paid in twelve months, then does it revert to regular interest charged on the balance?" The answer was YES What they did not disclose was that there is something called "deferred interest"..in other words, you have to pay interest on the amount you have already paid in the previous twelve monthsTHIS WAS NOT DISCLOSED

I opened an Old Navy account last yearI have never missed a payment and as a matter of fact paid more than minimal due each monthI recently was approved for a home loan and was told to pay off as much of my debt as possible and do not put any new debt out there until I close on my homeI paid my balance down to $two months ago and have not used the cardTo my surprise as I was about to close on my home Old Navy credit card showed up on my credit report as being recently closed by grantorWhat! How is this possible? They didn't even give me any warning!This obviously affected all of my hard work and dropped my credit scoreI called Synchrony Bank and the supervisor I spoke with was very rudeShe told me that Synchrony will do a credit check once in a while and if my credit score does not meet the requirements they will close the accountI told her if I qualified for a $215,000, home loan I'm pretty sure that the $credit limit through Old Navy would not be an issueMy first question was "What about my other credit cards through synchrony?" She didn't have an answer for me on thatOf course she didn't because I have balances on those cards which is making Synchrony moneyI flat out told her that the reason they closed my account was due to inactivity! So even though I never missed any payments on this card or any of my credit cards, my credit score dropped instead of going upThis literally almost cost me my home loan which would have left myself and my son homeless! And worst was they gave me no warning! I am furious and once I pay off my other cards through Synchrony Bank I will close them as wellI would never recommend Synchrony Bank to anyone!

Synchrony bank does not process check by mail payments in a timely fashion, often taking or more daysResults in harassing collections phone calls Concerning a Lowes Credit Card through Synchrony BankPayed $by check in the mail for a much lesser minimum payment (aprox $25) for December sveral weeks before the due dateThe check was not posted to the account and resulted in late fees, interest charges etcProactivley called them with check numbers, dates, and confirmation numbers from the bank to rectify the situationThey removed fees/charges and said that they had not yet received the check and sent over weeks previous and that I may cancel it and reissue a new oneI sent a new one immediately for $to cover December and January The new due date for payment was set for January 13th The original $check that now had a stop payment on it was posted to my account the next dayBecause the bank returned the check my account was turned over to their collections department and card suspended (could not be used in a lowes store) even though everything on the account was currentTheir automated system will call your phone 2-times a day or more and will not leave a messageWhen I did finally answer they demanded payment on an account that was current --- Poor Customer Service --- No Communication between their customer service dept and collections --- payments can take weeks or more to post resulting in late payments and interest charges --- When payments are post they predate them to when they received the check (check issued on December 29th and received by Synchrony on the 31st as per the "post date" still received calls from collections for over a week before answering on January 5th, Check finally showed on the account either on January 8th or 9th predated for December 31st)This is a poor business and accounting practice as is evident by the multiple credits and adjustments to my account they are incapable of properly tracking payments etc --- Credit Card was suspended on an account that was current --- Harassing phone calls demanding payment for an account that was current (Call received on January 5th; next payment due date was January 13th) --- Mail received from collections dated after I had spoken with and explained the situation to both customer service and collections (spoke with them on both December 31st and January 5th and received letters dated January 6th)

I had a good experience with the customer service after forgetting when my months of no interest was upI realized what happened two weeks after the interest was added on to my accountThey just let me pay the rest off and removed the interest that was addedIt was easy and just took a couple phone calls

I am so sorry that GE Capital allowed these is Synchrony Bank to take over there retail accounts I was so embarrassed when I went into Belk's to shop and tried paying using by Belk Credit Card and learned that my account had been closed I paid the account off in October (owing only $32.00) and they closed it I am going to have to loose my Walmart Credit Card because it is controlled by them and they are terrible I will never apply for any credit card if they have anything to do with it They really should be banned as a bank and financial institution.....................................................Revdex.com they need to be investigated and fined for what they are doing to consumers

This bank offers a credit card through Lowes Home improvementIn the time I have had this card I have been charged late fees for paying my balance too early (yes I wrote that correctly, they send the bill on the 8th you pay it on the 9th but they do not let you know the cycle starts the 15nth) this has affected my credit score, they are difficult to impossible to gain resolution from, this company frequently without notice or concern for their customers changes credit limits for unjustified reasons and worst of all they have no human operators to speak withI would recommend looking at capital one cards before even considering this companyCap offers 5% back everywhere not just Lowes Lowes Home Improvement is a great store, their choice of creditor for cards could not be worse

This business sucks, I have a card thru these guys that I got when I purchased something at Conn's I have been paying my bill on the day that I receive it I just found out they are charging me a late fee and stating I have not been making the payments I discussed with them that the payment has been being made on the day I get the bill The company states that it is considered an early payment and does not go toward that particular statement I was told I can not make the payment for a minimum of day after I receive the bill If I pay the day I get the bill it is early and doesn't count toward my bill and I will be billed a late fee I was told if I wait to pay the bill for or more days after I receive it then it will count toward my monthy statement and no late fee will be charged This is the biggest line of bull I have ever heard Because I pay my bills when I get them I am being fined I guess that is so they can use my late fee to pay for those bills that don't get paid I will never again do business with Conn's because they use Synchrony Bank which scams people out of money I called to speak with someone at this company I got a person whom I could not understand so asked to speak with someone else I was then hung up on I have never seen such a poor business and will do everything in my power to keep others from dealing with the is who run this company

No Honesty, They do whatever they want and hide behind form lettersNo e-mails or phone calls will sway them

I tried to open savings accounts over the weekend Because they did not work successfully the first time, I filled out the information a 2nd time Got a message saying unable to open with account id to reference I called on Tuesday and was on hold for minutes Then got to someone who had to seek information from another group He came back and said I would get a letter telling me IF I would get an account in - days I was not happy so asked to talk to someone who could explain the process to me That person told me same information with a bit more detail but nothing that indicated why it would take so long All their hold info was go online to avoid long waiting time to open an account What's the use if you are going to not get an actual account anyway I immediately asked to cancel my requests as this did not sound or feel good from a customer perspective

Thank you Synchrony BankMy Chevron Acct was taken over by youI recently was approved for Sams Plus MastercardAbsolutely no complaintsPaying accts online never a problem Take care of your credit, and it will take care of you when you need it Treat your creditors with respect by paying them on time, preferably before it is due if possibleDon't carry excessive balances, and if for what ever reason you incur a large charge to your account, pay it before the statement closes If you want respect, be respectable and remember credit is not an open check book Its a loan Pay it on time, everytime and you will not have any problems Used correctly, credit is your friend Take care Synchrony, and thank you!!!

Synchrony Bank I have Credit Cards through them form Car Care One, Discount Tire, Pay Pall Cheveron TJMax and the list goes onAll paid every month on time paymentsSuddenly I have no online access to View and pay my account monthly Payments They say they are sending me a letter from the Fraud Department but wont tell me what the letter content isI then asked for paper statements instead and they denied me those as wellKept saying wait for letter What Letter? I feel like the Victim hereI asked what address are they sending me the letter toSure enough to my address on fileSo I said if I was a fraud why are you sending a letter to my address? Online access denied, so how am I supposed to pay each card, as I can't view my statements to know how much is a payment on each cardAny One?????

Recently Amazon's store credit card program was assumed by Synchrony BankOne month following the notice of the change, I received a decrease in my credit limitWhen I called Synchrony, the cs rep couldn't have been more cavalier about the decrease, asking if I wanted to "pursue a request for an increase." When I explained that I was not requesting an increase but reverting to the original agreement, she said she couldn't do that When I explained that as an employee of Amazon, that her cavalier attitude was insulting and that I planned on escalating my experience to the senior team at Amazon, her response was, "Oh sure, shall I process your cancellation?" When I finally got to a supervisor, her script was not much different or any more customer centric Needless to say, I cancelled the account and am forwarding the information to senior management at Amazon

Made the mistake of gettting an Amazon credit card through this companyThe first thing is they charge a ridiculous amount of interest, especially if you choose the month 0% interest promotional financing, and do not pay it off in time, at which point they charge you the full interestYes it says so at the bottom of the terms in small print, so its my fault, but it still seems like a scam and advertising, which should be illegal But I got over the interest, and am trying to pay it off, but now they are refusing to let me payI had my phone number change in the last few months, and every other bill I pay has not had a problem in this regardAt most I call them, confirm my identity, and change itHowever, apparently this bank NEEDS your original phone number to prove your identity, and they refuse to let you prove it any other waySo then they will not let me log into their website or even pay by phoneAll they said when I called was they would send me a letter about it, and I don't think that will solve it So basically, i'm waiting around while late fees rack up, while I want to pay it but they simply refuse to let me do soIt sounds like a huge scam and I have no idea how to get around it

My credit account was initiated by Lumber Liquidators I was encouraged to set it up as an automatic bank monthly withdrawal and I was assured that this would then pay off in months interest free It was my fault that I did not watch the account more closely, because when the automatic withdrawal did not pay off the entire loan at precisely months, Synchrony charged 29.9% on the entire loan amount They would not negotiate an amortized interest payment and continue to charge 29.9% annual interest on the monthly balance This bank practices deceitful lending They count on customers not keeping close track of their balance so that they unknowingly default and become subject to these usury rates DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS UNETHICAL BANK!!!

Watch out for shifting statement dates When you schedule your payment to post on the day the statement comes out, they like to hold the statement back a day - and then they tell you that you have to make ANOTHER payment - even though you already made one Total garbage customer service, attitude and horrible phone manners pretty much tell you you're out of luck Basically, you get PENALIZED for making your payment ON time, and penalized for being late Utterly ridiculous

I had a BP gas card with Chase they sold to scnchrony Started getting multiple phone calls during the day with a long drawn out message and telling me to call a number which I did Got the same message and finally could get hold of customer service Like speaking to the devil Seems like Chase sent my May bill with the words Auto pay is on and the day for withdrawal from my checking account only they did not withdraw it although I certainly thought it was paid (I always pay the balance in full) well synchrony has not been nice about it even though it is their mistake and the chack is in the mail as I cannot get at their website, it ia like it does not exist Finally the last straw they have shut off our ability to use our credit card What a horrid company

I received a card from the Gap, which was GE Capital, but now has changed their name to Synchrony Bank I have not missed a payment, but I have been late a couple of times, however I still paid my bill and late charges Well this month I paid $on my acct and a few days later they decided to lower my credit limit leaving me a $credit limit I called to ask why they said that I will receive a letter in the mail, because they can not tell me why Just like I pay them I pay all my other bills I needed this card to have a high balance because I go from state to state between school and taking care of my sick mother and grandmother Now I am stuck because that money I paid I was depending on for gas to travel back and forth I wouldn't recommend them to anyone

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND AUTOMATED SYSTEM EVER!!!!!!! I spent minutes trying to navigate the automated menu to get to a representative I am trying to close my account for just one card, not all of them and the system said it will close all the accounts and I would have to reapply for any that I still want minutes into the call so far and I still haven't talked to an actual person terrible, awful, worst customer service I have ever experienced with any company or any other credit card provider from now on I will specifically avoid any and all cards that deal with synchrony financial waste of time dealing with these people Never again Once these are paid off they are gone for good I would rather move to a third world and live in a mud hut than get another card from these people

I am not going to spend any more time than is necessary on Synchrony Bank and their affiliates, so I won't be typing a lengthy reviewAll I have to say is this is the most heinously run credit card company I've ever dealt withWay ahead in my payments and I start getting charged all kinds of fees after ONE late payment of a couple of daysI am paying this off immediately and I will NEV ER do business with these schmucks againMaybe Synchrony should get into another business, because from what I can see they are clearly not competent in the credit card business

Wish I had checked Revdex.com first If I had would not have done business with this bank It took me three weeks to open the acct, after three tries Recently went to add additional $ and I have gotten nothing but roadblocks You would think it would be much easier than this I only wonder what it will be like when I try to withdraw They don't deserve anyone's business
