As discussed over the phone on December 8, 2015, we may be able to apply additional credits to your account for any other overdraft fees you received from your bank. We're sorry for any frustration or inconvenience you experienced when additional funds were taken out of your bank account after your Target Credit CardTM account had already been paid off in full.
Our records show you set up a payment arrangement with one of our phone representatives on January 14, 2016, to have $66.00 taken out of your bank account each month beginning February 15, 2016, and running through to June 15, 2016. Unfortunately, this arrangement did not get automatically cancelled when your payment in the amount of $4,344.57 was received on January 25, 2016, which paid your balance off in full.
As a result of our research into this matter, a refund check in the amount of $123.00 has been mailed to the address listed above. This amount covers the additional $66.00 payment along with the $57.00 overdraft fee you were charged by your bank.

I understand those applications were " incomplete " due the fact social security number was missing. Also its well understood on July 31 a call was placed to check the status of such application in which I was able to provide you with the social security number according to your response.
What I don't understand how you be able to access my credit profile without my social security. As a consequence I ended with a duplicate application.
Thanks for your " generosity " of not adding a 3rd application.
Due the lack of Cooperation I will forward al the proper documentation to my district attorney since you previously were
provided with a criminal complaint . You CAN NOT access my financial report without my consent on under no circumstance you should be allowed to access it without a SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER.
I have kindly ask you to remove a Query due your lack of professionalism , but you are not willing to do so .

We're also sorry for any confusion caused by our previous response dated November 19, 2015. We have reviewed our records again and see that a social security number (SSN) was provided at the time of all 3 applications. However, as part of the application review process we received communication from the credit bureaus advising the social security number was "not issued". This information received from the credit bureaus prevented the first 2 applications from being approved. If you have any additional questions on why the credit bureaus provided us with such a status about your SSN, please reach out to them directly. Please also note that information is reported to the credit bureaus based on your name and not the SSN.
All information we used for the credit inquiries was information you provided as part of the application process. As part of your application you authorize us to be able to check information about you with the credit bureaus and to report information to the credit bureaus. .
We stand by our previous response in that we are not able to change our reporting because each application was an authorization for us to pull a credit report. Again, we apologize that we cannot accommodate your request but we must remain consistent in our credit policies.

Their response accepts zero responsibility. This issue has been ongoing(we have made multiple phone calls about the card and bill issues), not once has the actual issue been resolved. We have proof of multiple calls and at least 2 cards in hand with the wrong information that will coincide with our phone records. Not forgetting an email sent after the last card issue stating our frustration. At that time we stated that our final payment would include any current or past due purchases(not fees) and that the card is to be closed.

As a courtesy, we've credited all of the late payment fees and interest charges that were assessed, totaling $207.54. As of today, these adjustments have created a zero balance on your account and you'll see the credits on your next statement.

I do not accept this response because I specifically asked to have these NSF fees stop posting to my account, thus withdrawing my consent for this to continue, and was told by the representative over the phone that it cannot be stopped. I asked for a supervisor and was told that he is a manager (which I see from other complaints is the response that anyone calling a Target number gets when they request management for additional help. Everyone we are speaking to is a supervisor) and was told that neither he or anyone else there could help me and that we were going around in circles and he would end the call, which he did promptly. He hung up on me. I have NEVER had a company, let alone a national corporation, have such a lack of empathy and refuse to extend a one time courtesy for any issue that has arisen. I have never complained or asked for special treatment, but in this case the scale and impact of this policy of frequently posting amounts at random and the fees accumulated on a regular basis has made it virtually impossible for me to pay ANY bills or payments to anyone. This practice has jeopardized not only purchases for my household, but payments for utilities and vital necessities for my family that have a negative impact on my family, especially my small children's, quality of life. There is absolutely no way for me to justify to my electric company, phone company, and landlord that payment arrangements made are defaulted on because Target posted a transaction from over a month ago, to my account AGAIN, and what's left isn't enough to cover the arrangement. I have requested to have this stop. I requested to arrange a payment date that is mutually satisfactory. The reason why I feel that I am deserving of reimbursement is because I was told no for EVERY SINGLE OPTION I GAVE TO TRY AND RECTIFY THIS SITUATION. Nothing that I suggested was sufficient and there was absolutely no compromise offered on Targets part. There wasn't an ounce of compassion or empathy about what this had done to my bank account so far, and will continue to do to my finances if left unaltered. I never tried to avoid responsibility. I have been vocal in a mutually beneficial solution. Target has completely disregarded my family's well being and will carry on regardless of the devastating impact it creates for us. This was said in not so many words by the representative I spoke to. "Nothing can be done to stop this, and no one can help you." This was reiterated to me in the response to my complaint. I am shocked that a corporation of your size, that does so much to show how much they care and give back to the community, would act in such a heartless and inauthentic manner towards a single family on the brink of bankruptcy. Target used to be my favorite store. The amounts that I have spent, my entire family over the years have spent in Targets, is staggering. You truly do not know a company until there is a difference of opinion or until an issue arises.. I foolishly expected more compassion from a corporation that goes to such great lengths to generate a positive public opinion as a caring company that strives to service communities in more ways than just a retailer. The realization that at no point are there any compromises or empathy for my family's specialized situation on any level to be found within Targets Corporate Headquarters is actually quite devastating. On a personal note, the reality of all the responses I have received as a loyal and decades long customer of Target, is surprising and very sad for me.

I accept the credit of the late fee, which is all I was seeking. However your explanation of the facts are flawed, I understand that I chose to receive paperless monthly statements, and yes I was able to log on to the Manage My Redcard account on the 15th of December, however as of the due date on January 15th my account became past due so by the 20th of January my "Manage My Redcard account" was locked (as per your Policy)and I could not get in to manage anything. this is a flawed policy which should be changed so that a normal person can get into there account to pay a due bill. Locking someone out of the online account as a way to get them to call and or be late on paying said bill, just seems a bit sneaky and underhanded.
