This roofing company quotes you a low price to get your business and then "surprises" you with a $2300.00 over supplement. When you try to
resolve the problem, you will be screamed at ,that they will put a lien on your house. They do not want to explain why their quote bid was so much different than the original contract.
They also did not do all the work the insurance had paid for.
The F contracted Tarrant Roofing to install a new roof and a contract was written based on the insurance paperwork. After submission of the contract and insurance estimate to our Quality Assurance Department, it was found that State Farm had missed material needed to install a new roof properly to ensure that there were no warranty voids or further problems with the new roof. Based on the signed contracts, the F gave us permission to speak to their insurance company. Tarrant Roofing contacted State Farm with a supplement request for additional material, including: drip edge, asphalt shingle starter, roof jack prime and painting, and debris removal. State Farm agreed that these items were needed to properly install a new roof and agreed to pay for the extra material. It was found to be an error by the State Farm adjuster and was corrected by State Farm. The additional monies owed to Tarrant Roofing was paid for by State Farm and was not an out of pocket expense from the customer. Tarrant Roofing followed protocol to guarantee the best possible roof was installed for the customer.
It is standard practice for a contractor to place a lien on a property and then release the lien when the invoice has been paid in full.
New insurance paperwork was provided and explained to the client. All work paid for by State Farm was completed by Tarrant Roofing, including: Roof replacement, window beading/glazing, comb & straighten AC condenser fans.
The owner of this company responded to our complaint with lies. We never gave our permission for them to contact our insurance company;we were never told about the supplements;the insurance company did not error and did included all the materials plus our storage building in their original estimate and the work was not completed.We are hiring another company to roof our storage building at our expenses. The owner forgot to mention they did not leave any of the shingles that we had paid for and the fact that he refused to sit down with us and work this out. We do not want this to go on and on. This is our last response. We only wanted an apology for being treated so disrespectful by the owner and we want this company to treat other customers fairly.
The customer freely signed our contract which has a specific section stating that as their contractor we are allowed to contact their insurance and mortgage company on their behalf. If allowed we would provide a copy of the insurance estimate in our possession that shows no damage to the shed, therefore no payment from the insurance company to replace. Again, the supplements were for additional material to ensure that the manufacturer of the shingle would not void the warranty for improper installation; i.e. drip edge and asphalt starter. We order the needed amount of shingles for the job required. If there are left over shingles due to extra in a package, we return that material. The customer was not out any money, except for their required deductible and our supplement did not affect their premium. We apologize that the customer felt they were treated unfairly. We have reached out to them to satisfy their concerns.

We needed a roof, quickly. Working with Calub B was a great experience. He answered all our questions and they had very competitive pricing. We completed paperwork on Wednesday and the roof was completely installed by Friday. We will definitely be recommending Tarrant Roofing!

I had been trying for several years to get my roof replaced thru insurance. Roofers would stop by and tell me I needed a new roof. But every time I turned it into my insurance company I was denied. But along came Jason. He personally called my insurance company and they responded immediately with an adjuster at my home. It was agreed my roof needed to be replaced. The process went very smoothly from start to finish. The roof was replaced, new gutters and wall treatment inside the home. Thank you Jason for staying on top of the job from start to finish. Steve T of Tarrant Roofing was great to work with. He explained the entire process to me, and followed up often. The crew was in and out in one day, keeping the disruption and noise as short as possible. Steve took extra care to ensure the clean up afterwards was done very well, especially ensuring no nails or scrap remained in the yard for my grandkids or pets to get hurt on. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs a roof replacement or repair.

It has been about two months since we had our roof replaced by Tarrant. I am very pleased with their product so far I have no complaints. Andrew K was our representative and he did an outstanding job. I am in management for a large construction company and I would have to say that Tarrant should be happy to have Andrew K as an employee, he handled Tarrant subcontractor very well. I believe he did an outstanding job on our house. He was on top of every step of the roof replacement. We also had our house painted outside and some inside work. Tarrant and Andrew K. took care of it all.
