that is not my address nor has that ever been my telephone number. I have Medicaid and have not ever been to that dentist, city, or even heard of that company. The last time I've been to the dentist was in 2013 so I'm positive that account does not belong to me. Please provide this documents asap because I am certain it doesn't belong to me! This is infuriating!

This complaint is specious. The  creditor, [redacted]  Water District, placed Mr. [redacted] account with TekCollect on 12/01/2014. The address that the creditor provided for Mr. [redacted] is [redacted] We sent letters to Mr. [redacted] concerning this debt at that...

address on these dates: 12/01/2014, 12/31/2014, 01/15/2015 and February 14, 2015. I have attached the validation of this debt provided to us today by the creditor. We will not remove the report that we made to Experian, Equifax and Transunion concerning this account as  it is due and owing to the creditor by Mr.  [redacted]. If he should pay the debt, we will notify the three credit reporting agencies that the account has been paid. [redacted] Phone ###-###-#### [redacted]

They put 4 on my equifax report and removed 2. There is still 2 on my equifax report. I sent pictures of my screen I just took today 8/9/16 @ 1000 am

I want them to delete from all there credit reporting agencies not just Experian.

We have provided copies of the documents that we sent to the consumer in response to his dispute, which validated the debt. This was done within the 30 day window as required by Federal Consumer Protection Regulations and the Texas Statute. TekCollect maintains copies of all correspondence related to consumer disputes. The consumer is trying to avoid paying a just debt that he owes to his creditor. He may wish to file his complaint with the appropriate regulators, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau or the Texas Attorney General's Office. Should he choose to file a lawsuit, TekCollect defend against it. Such a lawsuit would be specious. Chet Groff COO, Phone 614 495 1406 email [redacted]@tekcollect.com

First of all I think the debt collector is missing the point.  I never received their response to my request for validation within the 30 day  time frame.  Under the Texas Finance Code the debt collector as 30 days to provide me with validation information.  Not only did I not receive their response within the 30 days, but there is no evidence supporting their claim.  Any documentation or information presented at this point comes too little too late.  The debt collector has already violated my rights as a consumer.  I have already suffered damages due to their willful negligence.  Nevertheless, I am making every effort to resolve this matter outside of presenting my case before a courtroom jury in my community.  I am respectfully requesting this debt buyer remove invalidated account from my credit bureau reports.

We have followed up with the creditor concerning this account. The creditor has had a change of heart concerning this matter and they have asked that we delete this account from the consumer’s credit files. Today, our agent notified Experian, Equifax and TransUnion to delete this from the consumer’s files.

[redacted]I didn’t receive an email saying this was resolved, just an email saying it was closed.  I don’t accept this as being closed after reviewing all of the information in the email that were supposed to be sent.  Tek Collect continues to put people in collection before trying to resolve the issue for them.  I have a legitimate claim and do not owe money but they said they would contact the doctor’s office and then get back to me with what they said.  Instead they didn’t contact the doctor’s office and just put me in collection and impacting my credit.  This is the second time Tek Collect did the same thing, I had the same issue last year and it doesn’t seem like they are changing their protocol with these issues.  I am tired of playing their games and proving my innocence in not owing money, having to reverse information on my credit report.  If they don’t want to review claim issues before taking these actions, especially when the person like me told them the money was  not owed, then they need to be held responsible.  I again am requesting $5,000 in a settlement for this for them not following through with their responsibilities or I will be taking legal action and all of my attorney costs will also have to be paid as well.  I will await their response but this is my only offer.  If they do not accept then this then it will be taken off of the table and my request will be much higher.  [redacted]Ph:   ########Fax:  ########Cell: ########

On 09/06/2016 at 5:46 PM, our Manager TR W[redacted] sent the consumer a credit card authorization  via email for a payment transaction. The form, however, contained the wrong amount for the debt owed. At 6:55 PM that day, the consumer, via email, brought this to the attention of our Manager,...

who  then sent her a corrected form with the proper amount. Please see the file attachments. The consumer's complaint is without merit and the debt remains unpaid. Regardless, this debt will not be resolved until she pays it. Until that time, this debt will continue to be reported against the consumer's credit files as an outstanding collection. Below are the emails between the consumer and our Manager concerning the forms.  Chet G[redacted], COO, Phone ###-###-#### email [redacted]@tekcollect.com

We are very sorry that [redacted] has had a bad experience with TekCollect. Our Manager of Client Services will call them to work out an accommodation and settlement. Upon completion, I shall follow up with the Bureau and give the results. Thank you, [redacted]...

On July 5, 2016, our agent requested deletions for this account from the consumer's credit files with Experian, Equifax and Transunion. It usually takes 4 to 5 business days for the account to be completely remove from the consumer's credit files. Chet G[redacted] phone ###-###-####
