HorribleI've worked with Terminix for years and when one incident occurs and i'm unhappy with my service, they treated me like I was just another number on the boardI did not give consent to them to come to my house one day for serviceThey showed up, interrupted me at work (i work from home), and then billed me for it

I have been with Terminix for several years They were to treat my home inside and out to prevent pestsI was told that their techs would call to schedule appointments to be sure I was home to treat the inside of the house Instead I would just receive a bill saying the outside of the house was treated, with no proof that anyone ever was at my home I would call to schedule inside appointments in follow ups, but the last several the tech failed to show up at the appointment The last bill I received said they treated the outside of my home, again without prior notice The day they claimed to be at my home to treat snow covered the ground There were no signs that anyone walked anywhere around my home I cancelled my service and told them if they want their last payment of $that they would have to come back out into my home to,provide services paid f

Service Contract since The service contract guaranteed termite protection, however severe termite damage was discovered
Severe termite damage was discovered in interior room floors, interior walls, and exterior columns Terminix had contractor replace floors and it was done incorrectly Terminix after some time finally agreed to replace however there is more damage and they are refusing to repair or replace This situation has been going on since 08/01/ This past week they asked for copy of deed so they could settle was their excuse for wanting it and once they received it and because the deed is now in my name and my sister's name and the Contract was in my father's name to begin with and he has since passed away during this problem they would not repair but would pay $and cancel contract Terminix is now saying they will not repair because damage was hidden and no active termites visible They have repeatedly lied, refused to honor their contract, been extrem

I worked out a finance agreement with the representative When the check from a home refinance came in I was assured that I would be refunded the amount over what I owed I was harassed for payments multiple times after I informed them I mailed a check After they received the check and cashed it, my account was not corrected, nor was I refunded I explained that my account still showed the large balance and I had to call over ten times to get someone to help me In the end I was refunded $and not the $I was supposed to receive I am disturbed by the lack of caring I was showed and the many times I had to call and complain A business should stand by their word and not steal money from others Sadly, the representative had me sign a contract and I was held liable for the total amount of $ However their lack of consideration on my behalf has me looking for new pest control

I have tried contacting your Alterra times in the last month to cancel ALL service with themThe only way to do so is via a phone number - locally XXX-XXX-XXXXI leave my name, address, and phone number and no one ever respondsI called Terminix, who acquired Alterra, last yearThey were unhelpful - even rude - and repeated told me to call Alterra since none of their customer databases have been shared with Terminix (as of May 26, 2016)I provided my Alterra account number, phone number, name, and address, but Terminix had none of the information.Terminix would also not provide any other means of contacting Alterra as I requested at a minimum an email address or phone number of an executive who could take action (Terminix: "We don't have any of that information")I am FURIOUS as they have also billed me for a service that I have declined via voicemail

*** was called back out to my house to knock down a wasp nest in the eave of my roof pitch (one in which that was missed at a scheduled service)I was told that they would not use a ladder and would knock it down with a poleThat pole was used with too much force which caused a hole in the eaveThe hole was never reported by the technician and it was not discovered immediatelyOnce discovered, I called and reported itI heard back the next day from an area representative and she had me email before and after pictures that I hadThis was on 12/1/and it is now 1/27/and I still have a hole in the eaveI've been offered a free service, but I declined asking for the hole to be fixedI have yet to hear back after that phone callThey keep saying that they need to talk to a manager and I hear nothing back until I do a follow up email

I had a terrible experience with TerminixI was to close on my home in two weeksI ordered a termite inspection, a standard inspection report when selling/purchasing a homeThey scheduled me for a Monday with a 2-hour windowThe sellers had someone to sit in the house to wait for the inspectionThe inspectors never showedI called to see what the problem was and they said, "Oh, you are scheduled for tomorrow for the same time." The Sellers had their neighbor wait again and once again, a no show:no call from TerminixI was furiousI called the company and the rep emailed the regional managerEven after apologizing no one got back to meI called again a 3rd time to see when I could be rescheduledThey told me, "Oh, you're scheduled for tomorrow morning between 8-12." I said, "When were you going to tell me?" I had to call them to find outSure they apologized but they are supposed toI couldn't believe after all of that, they gave me now a 4-hour window of time! Whose going to keep their empty house open for hours? Worse yet, the sellers won't ask their neighbor to sit for more hours of time in an empty house knowing that they didn't show up two days in a rowI won't be using TerminixMy closing is now two weeks later due to this fiasco

I called them on a Friday and asked for immediate service for the rodent problem I hadThey set me up for the next day, and representative Chris came and inspected my yard, house and atticVery professional and knowledgableAnswered all my questionsGave me sound plan and explained their methodsMr B*** arrived as promised on Wednesday morning to perform the tasks to seal and repair rodent entry pointsHe was professional, knowledgable and politeGlad I called them

I have received several unpaid notices from Terminix I asked the manager, *** ***, to stop the bills and he would not call me back or follwith me My bills are always paid on time and was concerned about any collections I was so upset with this *** issue I cancelled my services I found out from my friends living in the same *** *** area they were being charged more the same services

Kristin was our saving grace with Terminix! We had problems getting scheduled, and Kristin a SrCSR was amazing! She is the best CSR I have ever had the pleasure of speaking withThis lady needs to be the president, and make a whole lot of money for the amazing job she doesI feel like our family is important because of Kristin

On 6/18/we had a sales rep come out to discuss a termite serviceOn 6/20/we set up an appointment to do the service on 6/27/The next business day 6/23/we called the sales rep Keith H*** to cancel the serviceWe decided we would not be needing the termite service at this timeOn 6/27/after canceling, while we were away at work someone came out and did the service anyway
Confused by this my husband called Keith to inform himHe told my husband it was a mistake and it had been canceledHe said he would send someone out to remove it
We called Keith two days later to inform him no removal has been made and our account was chargedAt that time he said he would take care of it
We called Keith a week later and he said it could take up to two weeks for a refund and removalWe then followed up two more times weeks later to make sure it was all taken care ofHe said it would beBy the third week I decided not to call Keith and try the office to see what they could tell me
Now a month later we speak to Amber on 7/She said it would be taken care of and the regional manager would be calling usShe stressed it was important we were available to take a call anytimeWe took her advice and between my husband and I we always made sure we were by the phone day and night
On July we still had no call back so we called the office again and spoke to Nicole, she said we would get a full refund and removalAnd we will receive a call in hours from Scott H*** or Bruce E***
hours later no call...so we called again and we spoke to PatricaShe said she left a message for Bruce E*** the branch manager and she said she emailed both Scott and Bruce
On 7/we decided to contact our bank to see if they could help usOur bank filed a dispute for our refund
The last we heard from Teriminix was On 7/Scott H*** called back to let us know he was touching base with us and that he's still waiting on information about approval for our refundAnd It could take up to 3-days after approvalUnfortunately we never heard back from him
We have made every attempt to solve this and no one at Terminex is doing their part to remove a service we canceledAnd now we are being billed for this serviceOn 10/19/we received a bill by mail and it's saying "your account has become seriously past duePlease help us maintain your good credit rating by mailing your check today"
How can it be past due when we canceled and they only just sent out this one billWe are beyond frustrated and confused on how it got this farWe have not signed a contract and we canceled business day after we called about the serviceI would not recommend Terminix because we have been getting the run around since the startWhen we call the staff they are friendly but do not follow threwThe hours we have lost calling and dealing with this issue and the stress of it all has lead us to write this reviewAnd now seeing so many other consumers having the same type of problems I wish we would have done some investigating before calling Terminix

I hire terminix to help me get rid of my recent mice issue and They came out and have been giving me the run around ever since
This problem started three weeks ago when they said they would send someone out and they have not been returning my calls after I paid them 9/12/two seperate charges one for and paid via credit card They have not been answering my calls to follow through on the contract and I do not know what to do next

Was told I was signing up for a one time service, but was unwittingly roped into getting a subscription service
When I signed the contractThe way it was explained to me was that If I called him back and asked to stay on it would carry on a subscription serviceOtherwise it would be cancelledI had no intent of getting anything more than a one time spraying of my rental propertyI do not feel I should have to pay for a service I did not want, even If I was baited into signing a contract
The salesman misrepresented the terms of the contract in the plainest terms possibleBait and switch comes to mindI shouldn't be forced into a payment because of a poorly trained or dishonest salesman
