Misrepresetation by inspector regarding my need for exclusion plan for my home/rodent control
I have had pest control services with Terminix for over years For the first three months of 2017, we caught two mice in our home (with traps), so I called Terminix regarding a service called "exclusion plan" that seals up homes and provides rodent control services On Jun 1, Won J***, home inspector came to my home and did a visual inspection to see if I needed the exclusion plan coverage He looked in my kitchen, yard, basement, upstairs, for droppings and mice activity He advised me that in my basement there were droppings of different sizes, that he saw droppings in an upstairs closet, and that my yard and front of home had cracks that were allowing mice to get in and out of my house THere was no hard copy literature but he explained that the exclusion plan would cover sealing up the perimeter of my home, in the front and back, installing door sweeps where the mice could get in,

The Terminix Houston branch is the most unprofessional and unprepared technicians everI have been waiting since July to get my 2nd follpest control and to date they have not completed the pest control I requested inside my houseI requested they treat my moth problem and place more roach bait which they said it part of the service I pay for and they miss appointments and then they show up and aren't prepared with the materials they need to treat the moth problem I haveI am frustrated beyond beliefThe corporate office and local branch do not communicateRun, run the other way and use a local family owned business instead of this companyI chose Terminix because they are well known large company only to find out it has the most unprofessional technicians ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have repeatedly requested that Terminix not send me texts - I have had a problem with delayed texts arriving at odd hours during the night! I have called the local business and even their head officeI have filled in numerous post pest treatment surveys requesting that I no longer receive textsNo one at Terminix seems able or interested in addressing this simple request It really says a lot about their attitude towards their customers though - as reflected in the numerous other negative comments on this website

They talked me into an exclusion project that included cages over the attic vents on the roof Long story short, they caused significant damage to the roof, which caused a large water leak inside the house during a storm Our insurance company replaced the entire roof due to accumulated weather damage but concurred that the water leak was caused by Terminix They said I should seek damages from Terminix directly for the interior damage
After going through the insurance process and threatening the manager with legal action, they finally put me in touch with their liability carrier so I could file a claim We subsequently settled for repair of the indoor damage
But, they will not give me a partial refund for the roof cage part of the project, even though all inspectors agreed they caused the damage, and the cages are no longer present on the new roof Terminix's "satisfaction guaranteed" promise verbally stated and written all over the paperwork, is hollow at best
I have cancelled my general pest control and termite bond contracts with them as their promises are meaningless, and their quality is rock bottom
I have sent a more detailed complaint letter to the corporate office

I had an issue with moles in my yardThey came to my house and tricked me into a year subscription for an "Exclusion Service"for ~$They made me digitally signed a contract in a cell phoneI was OK with it as they state they provide THE STRONGEST GUARANTEE IN THE BUSINESS
They came to install some cheap mole repellers and said they'd come back after 1-weeksAfter three weeks I contacted them to inform them the mole situation hadn't improveI texted the inspector as well and he'd say they'd come back soonThey didn't
Called to cancel the service A day after they call me to inform me the they wouldn't honor their 100% satisfaction guarantee, they wouldn't refund me as "the initial service was completed"This is a rip offReally disappointed

Worst service everShow up without appointments, don't show when they have them
This is Thursday and the appointment for Monday never showed, the rescheduled for Wednesday never showed and the promised follow up call from local management has not happenedsave yourself a lot of aggravation and use anyone else

Inaccurate findings of Terminix termite inspector Alex M*** on 04/20/Alex stated that I had fungus on my roof sheathing and that it needed replacementAlex showed me the spot that supposedly had fungusIt looked like dirt to me but I believed him since he is supposed to be the expertI then was told that a final inspection would not be issued unless I hire the Terminix contractorsI agreed to hire the Terminix Contractors and they came 04/21/at 800AMThe contractors took the roof apart on said area that Alex specifiedAfter completion of prepping the area, the contractors informed me that they needed to go to Home Depot for suppliesAfter they left, I went to view the areaTo my surprise after the panels were removed to expose the roof sheathing, the wood was intact and had no signs of fungusI was shocked, I was told by Alex that I had fungus on my roof sheathing that penetrated the whole woodAlex had also showed me the long pieces of wood on the side of the house

Company is charging me for a service that they never rendered
Terminix was supposed to complete my outside extermination service in early SeptemberThe company did not show to spray my house so I called to enquire about itThey told me that they apologized and they would reschedule the visit in weeksI told them I wanted to cancel my service and that I would find another companyI received a bill in the mail a week after I canceled the service and I never received any type of service in the month of SeptemberWhen I call the company they claim that their records show they performed the serviceI can't help if their records are and inaccurateI contaced a local service in my hometown who completed the service in SeptemberI do not owe a bill for September to Terminix

On 3/05/we realized that we have termites at our home and my husband immediately called to TerminixHe was told that they don't have anyone to come to our house on SaturdayAfter one hour of speaking with at least people they agreed to send us a technicianHe came and sprayed some chemical stuffOn Monday, March 7th two technicians came to our house, inspected and refilled all the traps around our house.On March 13th in the early morning we found out that there was an attack of termites againWe instantly called Terminix and they told us that theydon't work on SundaysWe told them that our Termite Baiting Program is covering us at the same day( remember, that this program is including "same-day solutions for any of your termite needs" and "100% satisfaction or your money back")WE spent around two hours on the phone with different people from Terminix but we've got nothing.We were told that on the next day, Monday March 14th somebody would take care of our propertyNobody appeared on Monday and we called again Terminix and spent another hour to find out when their technician is comingOn Tuesday March 15th nobody came eitherWe called on 3/15/and the area manager wasn't able to organize anythingSo here we are with our termites in our houseIt is Tuesday night and nobody cameThis is not the right company to deal with

You will regret itMy rental property roach problem actually got worse and they didn't seem to careI had to call back for re-treatments, they never showed me a plan to fix the problemWhen I canceled because the service wasn't working, they refused to give a refund even though their website has a clear 100% satisfaction guarantee

North Brunswick office never showed up for an appointment for two apartments......I paid two people to stay for the day at eachWhen I called they had no explination except, "so.....do you want another appointment" ?! Corporate didn't help either....were just as arogant an unapologeticDO NOT USE !!! OH..........It also took minsto cancel my "contract" laughable!

We want the money to reimburse us for our roof tile damage during tenting to be applied to the tenting cost, not to giving us a year of service
