I am rejecting this response because: the facts the business stated are not trueI called back to place the order because I was told an item was out of stock and the customer service rep I placed the order with said it was okay and to go ahead and place a new order for a similar item at full price and I would be credited the $It wasn't until a few hours later that I learned the coupon code was invalidAt that time I told them since they couldn't honor the code to then cancel the orderI recieved a voicemail from a supervisor saying the order WAS cancelled which is why the funds were removed from that accountI'm not upset about the coupon codeI understand it was an invalid code and was not to be used onlineWhere the issue is with being told that I WOULD be receiving a credit and then having zero communication from the company once they decided not to do thatAlso they assured me the order was cancelled which is why I moved the funds from my account again with zero communication from Bon-Ton

I just received new information regarding the account and the gift card. The remaining value of the gift card, $310.00, was credited to your friends account on November 25, 2016. He would need to purchase a new gift card
No the issue was never resolved. Elder beerman initially responded that they would send a verification email and the gift set to me. I did not receive either.

We sincerely apologize for this issue with this customers returns. We have contacted the customer and left her a voicemail. We have approved future returns.
We assisted this customer earlier this week with trying to find this handbag. We could not locate the item she wanted in any store. We offered the same bag in a different color with an additional discount and the customer declined our offer.
Unfortnately there is no item that can be offered as a subsitute for what was originally choosen and our site does state in the policy section the following regarding order acceptance:
