We are sorry, but the coupon for $25 off your Kids’ apparel and accessories purchase of $25 or more is not valid for online purchases. select group of our customers, and can only be redeemed by those customers in stores. The online promo code was mistakenly included in the coupon and is not consistent with the stated coupon rules. We apologize for any confusion.
There is a pre-authorization placed on a customer card by us and their bank when a purchase is made. This is consistent with any purchase from any retailer or business. The money is not withdrawn until the order has shipped. Any pre-authorization is cleared by the customer’s bank within 3 business days of order placement. If the preauthorization has not cleared, please contact your bank.

I received the receipts from this customer. The items he purchased were excluded from coupon use in the days prior to his purchase. I have informed the customer of this.

I submitted a order to have it shipped and taken out of my account and then told I would have to pay full price to keep the items I don't see how that is legal?

There are so many customers that received their order. I do not believe that to be a fair practice in business. I received a email after placing my order that it was received AND ACCEPTED. I then received a email days later saying that it was cancelled.

As a one time courtesy, we will refund the shipping charge.  We do provide a return shipping label  with the original package.  We do state on the packing slips and on the website that if a customer returns an item on their own, they must pay the postage to any delivery service...

of their choice.

We have left the customer a voicemail and have sent a pre-paid label for her to return her order. She will receive credit once the return has been made.

We have researched this complaint and have found that the tracking number was keyed incorrectly. The customer's package was delivered to her door on July 10 at 2:19 pm. The order was not sent to an incorrect address.

We apologize that you did not receive the items you ordered.  They were delivered on March 7 at the front door/porch at 11:59 am. I have attached the Post Office tracking results for your reference.  We have applied a refund for the missing items and have placed a new order for the items...

with expedited 2-day delivery.  You will not be charged for the order.  Please be aware that we do not request signatures for deliveries nor does USPS unless the items are sent certified or registered mail.  Sincerely,The BonTon Stores, Inc.

We sincerely apologize for the issues with receiving the free gift. We have ordered the gift for the customer and an email has been sent on February 18.

The last credit was issued yesterday for $34.76.

We sincerely apologize for this situation and for not resolving this matter when the email was sent to our attention asking for assistance with this order. We have issued a credit of $5.83 to her account today (9/22/2014). The transaction information is: [redacted].

BTW, They should learn to handle customer relations in a responsible and honest way.  In the reply made by BONTON, they said that "The customer did not contact us after the claim was issued for us to investigate, otherwise the credit would have been issued at that time..."  That is not true.  I called them more than 15 times since mid-August.
